Good location to several important Dallas sites like Deep Ellum or the site of the JFK murder, good ac, loved the Japanse style toilet. There are no windows in your room which makes it nice and dark at night.staff is really friendly and willing to help with suggestions.

The rainshower is great but has no handshower attached to it. Also: there are no showercaps provided so keeping your hair dry while showering can be a bit of a challenge. I like a kettle and or some cups in the room and they do not provide that. Also: no mini fridge to keep drinks or so cold.

Ubication is great, a 10min walk from St. Paul train station (DART). The room was clean, small but spacious, very clean and comfortable bed yet the mattress and base were a little rusty. Bathroom was top clean, provided enough towels, toiletries, a hairdryer and the bidet was a great feature. Staff was super friendly and helpul.

I wish the hotel could have breakfast included, simple coffee, bread, fruit and eggs ham will be very helpful. In the rooms I would like to have hangers, there was a wall hook very useful but no hangers. The toiletries were not enough, I squeezed all the body soap and shampoo, they were small as they should but not of good quality since I had to use more.

It is a small but comfy room ideal for travelers who are frugal but want a classy place to stay while visiting Dallas. Great social activities to meet people of like minds. Great Happy Hour and accommodating staff. This building is 105 years old, I loved seeing the original brick walls. Thank you to the owners for saving this building and making it a boutique hotel. It's within walking distance to parks and breakfast venues.

I had an issue with T.V. I couldn't get it to turn on. Bit it was great to get a rest from T.V. watching while visiting. I had audio and paperback books to read

The hotel is located close to a lot of things I like to do when I come to Dallas. The hotel always has great staff and is clean.

The rooms tend to hold humidity from the shower for a long time. The space between the toilet and wall was a little too narrow. Some of the fixtures, such as the towel hooks, were in need of repair as they were hanging off the wall. The faucet on the sink is too close to the sink bowl to wash hands comfortably.

SOVA has everything one needs for a wholesome stay in Dallas. I particularly appreciated the small room for an affordable price while staying close to the city center. The hotel is designed for guests to stay in the common areas instead. These are beey pretty and comfortable.

I wondered if other guests, like me, would have appreciated a dedicated space for private work calls or more quiet work sessions. Working in the lobby was great, but I had one client call which I had to conduct in my room instead.

The property is located on the corner of commerce central and close to downtown. It has a few really nice bars n restaurants across the street. Parking was easy but not included with the room. The room was “micro” but clean and comfortable. Two people can not fit in 216 comfortably. Hotel resembles hostel European travel. Pack light and you’re good! I wish the lights for the bathroom was independent of the room lights. It was either too bright or too dark

No separate light switches. No fan for the bathroom steamed the whole room while showering

The room was clean. Lovely big shower. Short walk to bars and restaurants. The evening Barman was fantastic thank you for looking after us. We had a lot of luggage so I was grateful there was a lift. This is a micro room which is adequate for a couple of days, there is storage under the bed for cases. Good value accommodation. Free iced water in the bar.

The sink tap kept spurting water over me.The bedside table could have been bigger there is room for a bigger table, would have been useful if the table had a drawer, space is limited so a drawer would have been great. As there were no coffee making facilities in the room a free coffee maker in the bar would be good.

Staff were friendly and helpful (Shout out to Grant). Rooms were clean and housekeeping at your convinience. No noise could be heard from the road. Able to control my own AC. Japanese style bidet was a plus! Wifi was fast and TV had plenty of entertainment. Lobby had a great coffee shop/bar vibe. I was able to enjoy a few games of chess with new friends at the chess table.

Lack of shower door/curtain created a mess every time you shower. Sink design made it difficult to wash hands or fetch water. Single light switch for all lights was not great, though a little nightlight was provided that eased this. All lights were bright white though. Yellow light/lamp might be nice.

The room I was in is very nice. Stylish, simple, clean, well organized. The bathroom has all the desired items - enough towels, a hairdryer, etc. The bed is comfortable with nice, simple bedding. I really didn't spend time in the lobby / common areas, but it is well laid out, clean and visually appealing. The very best thing about the hotel was the staff person at the desk when I arrived and when I left. He was incredibly helpful, patient and went the extra mile for me. I apologize to him - I forgot to ask his name. Sorry - I was frazzled. He's a huge asset to your company. The location was fine during the day. I did not venture out at night.

I prefer softer lighting, and the absence of a table lamp or even a dimmer switch on the light was not the best for me. That is the one thing I would suggest trying to improve in some way.

From check-in to check out, it was absolutely wonderful. On the 1st day, I was greeted with a smile. Water was ready for me after walking in the hot sun. I missed all the activities sponsored by the hotel, but it's a really social hotel.as stated in their advertising. Every time I walked in out the door, I was recognized. The hotel itself is beautiful, well kept, smells nice, and the room was just the right size and comfortable for me. There are no windows in the room, but I didn't feel closed in as i thought i would. The ambiance in the hotel and room is so amazing! I recommend SOVA. Learn their system of things so your stay is even better!

I asked to have my room cleaned daily, and I didn't get 1 day of cleaning. I texted it, and when I checked in, the final question was asked what I needed,I asked for daily cleaning of my room. The day I asked for a steamer, I asked that my room be cleaned, but it never happened. I was at a convention daily, so when i got back, I needed fresh linen. I guess I should have made sure that morning before leaving, I needed to remind someone. I got charged for it as well. Also,I had to keep fixing the toilet because sometimes it wouldn't flush completely. I loved the room, but these two would be my negative.
