I was travelling all the way from Kuala Lumpur with my daughter and Houston was not our final destination. I really appreciate that my husband requested the hotel to be on the ground floor upon booking and that was really helpful since we have 4 suitcases to deal with. We really feel safe there especially when we came back from downtown Houston which can be a bit scarry during new year holidays. The breakfast was good but a bit limited to us since we only take Halal food. But I like the fact that, my daughter can take some apples and yogurts to her room. She loved to make her own waffle every morning and I enjoyed having my breakfast while listening to the weather channel. You've got to see the snow, storm and tornedo on other states while you were sunny and just chill in Humble. Another good thing about this location is the nearby bus stop to downtown Houston. You only pay $1 to for odd 20 miles distance. Sometimes we got free ride from the bus driver.

Maybe the staff has to put a little bit smile, other than that I feel safer at the hotel.

Late night checkin with lots of very tired travelers and only one desk person who remained, calm, helpful and pleasant throughout. He made the night better. Also the included breakfast offered plenty of choices and was very clean and well-maintained.

My room had some issues such as a floor lamp with a broken base so that the lamp leaned against a wall. A piece of tile baseboard was broken off and lying nearby the shower. Overall the room was clean and temperature was comfortable. I would have preferred a flatter pillow but that was a very minor thing.

The shuttle service. The rooms were clean and comfortale.

The reception staff. Pretty bland, barely looking at you or not at all while speaking to you. Needed a later checkout because of a late flight and traveling with a 4 year old, but we were not allowed later than 3PM (and that only because we paid 35$ extra), even if the hotel was almost entirely empty.

We had to make a last minute reservation as we were stuck in Houston on a layover. Happy to have found this new Hilton product and that it was available when we needed it. Airport transportation was key!! Very nice staff. Breakfast offerings could have been a bit better but we didn't starve so that was good!

Loved the mattress like in all Hiltons. The staff was there waiting, breakfast was starting at 6

wish it was a slightly better breakfast, not much protein, like eggs.. mostly carbs and sugar. Wished for a 24 hour shuttle, took me forever to find an Uber who wanted to take the short ride.

Hotel location

Staff at check in told us we don’t have a reservation and we are to call Booking.com as not her problem. Gave her a print out of confirmation, she had no choice as showed Best western confirmed the booking. The shuttle was not available at time booked,could not take Uber as 91 year old mother and lots of luggage with us, so ended up taking shuttle for 6am for a flight at 9:40.

Very clean, comfortable quiet room, pleasant staff, good price

The one thing was that the morning receptionist wasn’t wearing a mask or requiring guests to do so while we were in the lobby waiting for the shuttle, even though there was a big sign at the front desk saying masking is mandatory. When I raised the matter with her, she politely said it’s up to customers and they don’t require it for vaccinated guests. But of course, they don’t check anyone’s vaccination status. I know this is Texas, my beloved home state and land of the “free”, but I wish people in charge would be on the side of the responsible customers who wear masks and need others to wear them too.

It’s close to the airport

The AC didn’t really have the room as cold as I would have liked. The bathroom light and vent should have a separate switch. When you turn on the bathroom light, the vent automatically starts and it is really loud.

Cold Muffins, Bagels, Weak coffee, and Orange water. I have had better breakfast at $60 per nite hotels. They offer hot oatmeal, hot waffles, cold cereal, large muffins, good coffee and good juice.

I was absolutely appalled at the breakfast setup. Unbelievable. The skimpiest poorest breakfast ever!!!! Grounds in the coffee... OJ was water.... No water available! What? Shocked.
