Secure and free parking, easy check-in, super friendly staff, free popcorn and soda, great happy hour including 3 free bar drinks per person and all you can eat tacos/nachos/hotdogs, really good hot breakfast, nice indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. Great location in the Galleria area, with an easy scenic 10 min drive past memorial park into the downtown Arts district. I would definitely stay again and do highly recommend this Drury at the location for all the perks.

Room was a bit outdated and had a weird noise coming from the bathroom off and on, that sounded like high-pitch squeaky pipes. Furniture could be updated in the rooms. Also of note - People smoke disgusting smelling cigarettes at the outdoor pool area, and this can’t be avoided by anyone trying to enjoy the indoor area hot tub and pool because these are attached.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the young lady from the evening shift—she was wonderful, warm, and truly welcoming, just like the rest of the team. The location was perfect, close to the Galleria and many dining options. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast and evening snacks were decent, similar to other hotels, though I still wonder why nobody ever serves vegetables. 😂

The 5pm "happy hour nibbles" made for a decent dinner. Real tea with water unpolluted by those awful pod machines you get in most American hotels (including this one, in the room). Breakfast was even better, with real milk (for the cereal, really) instead of those little creamer pots. First decent (well, Lipton) cuppa I'd had in days! Squirrels in the car park (we don't have them at home). Perhaps not the best place we stayed on our trip, but the best value.

We had to wait quite a while for someone to appear at the front desk when we were trying to check in. Swiping in and out of the car park was a bit of a chore.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and the location was convenient for me. Parking behind the gate was a big plus, and check-in was very easy. The deposit was only $50, which was reasonable. The room was spacious, with two separate areas and a comfortable king-size bed. It had everything I needed — even an iron with a board and a microwave. I also liked that the hotel offers a pool and a small gym, which made the stay more comfortable.

Of course, the hotel itself is quite old and definitely needs renovation. Breakfast could also be improved — apart from scrambled eggs and yogurt, I didn’t find many healthy options. But this was not a big issue. The most important thing for me was that I felt safe and comfortable. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

The room is absolutely exactly what you paid for. It is very comfortable, everything is clean, there is no dust or dirt, and the linen is snow-white, there is no mold or other people's hair in the bathroom, the beds are very comfortable, and the pillows and blankets are quite comfortable. There is a handrail in the bathroom to prevent falling. There is bright light in the room that can be adjusted, a coffee machine, and a refrigerator. There is only one very small drawback - a slippery surface in the bathroom and no anti-slip mat or written warning to hold on to the handrail.

The amenities were above and beyond as well as the entire staff. I did not run into a single issue the two nights that I stayed here. Everything was extremely clean and organized. I loved the attention to detail including the food, spa and gym area, coffee at any time, a lovely lobby ambience, the popcorn and the evening drinks. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I would 100% stay here anytime I need to be in Houston. It is also very close to all of the foreign consulates in the area and some great restaurants. Marianne at the front desk was the shining star and one of the reasons I would come back and stay here. I loved my entire stay!!

The convenience to shopping and highway and it being gated. The free parking, free breakfast and snacks and dinner. To top it off the 3 free drinks. The staff was excellent, Sryanna (?) was the best. She was informative, friendly, respectful and such a happy person. It appears she loves her job and is good at it. She greeted me and checked me in, she tended the bar, saw her walk in a blind person to the buffet and helped seat him and get his meal. She is awesome. The rest of the staff was great as well.

Great location and easy to get to. I needed a late check in and having 24/7 desk was one reason I chose Drury Inn. Ashe checked me in and she was the best! Ashe is very pleasant and efficient - Drury Inn needs to work very hard to keep her on staff. She answered any questions before I could even think to ask them! Breakfast was delicious, fresh and there was a good variety of foods. It was not crowded or chaotic like I’ve experienced at other hotels, making this breakfast one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The breakfast staff were always checking food, cleaning or asking if we needed anything (even offering to refill our juice glass!). They were amazing and the food was delicious! Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The A/C was on when we arrived and I appreciated it a lot. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot all available. I will be back when I visit Houston again.

This is my second time staying at Drury Inn Galleria. The staff are amazing! Right from the lovely person who checked me in (I should have noted her name) to the night staff who helped me also, as well as the other wonderful day staff and man who served drinks at the bar, and those who were working in the kitchen where nothing was ever a problem. The free meals and drinks make it so affordable to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I’ll be back again next time. Thank you to all.

have never been as impressed by all facets of a moderately priced hotel stay as I was at The Drury Hotel West Loop Houston. First the basics, very comfortable bed, hot shower, well supplied toiletries, and a clean room. I have never witnessed a staff that was so visibly dedicated to providing a first class hospitality experience. Each staff member demonstrated that their role was not to limit themselves to performing just the specific job assigned to their particular title but rather to take the initiative to take a moment to anticipate whatever task might be helpful to prepare for a satisfactory guest experience. I was very impressed at how efficient they were making sure that the buffet experience would be as seamless as possible. They kept the area clean, the food well stocked, and the presentation pleasing. They were frequently checking to see if the food needed a stir or some other attention. The coffee was keep hot from the Bunn and not stored in poorly insulated carafes like some comparably priced chains have made their standard. The food quality and variety were very good for a buffet. It was a surprise to me to have a free complimentary balanced evening meal plus free adult beverages. The tables were clean and never neglected and the staff always asked if they could take an empty plate. All of these services were provided by consistently cheery and polite staff. I haven't experienced this type of genuine hospitality
