The property was clean and within a 8 to 10 minute drive to the MD Anderson Medical facilities. The housekeeping service was very good. I didn’t have to ask for anything. Everyday cleaning and always enough white towels provided in room. Refrigerator and microwave. It is not a walking area, so you will need transportation. Convenient store and subway close by. Quick access to 610 loop up the street.!!

Perfect spot near the Fannin South Transit Center—super convenient to park the car and take transit to NRG Stadium for Rodeo Houston. There’s also a gas station right next to the hotel, which was handy for grabbing some quick drinks.

Not much to complain about, maybe just a bit noisy since it’s close to a busier road, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Affordable place, very clean, and provides what was needed--a clean, decent bed with some toiletries, a clean bathroom, and some towels. Also has a mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, and a small table with a few chairs in the most "basic" room. Wifi included!

Providing the WIFI password upfront would be useful. WIFI wasn't great but it worked alright. Didn't particularly love the in-room "freshner"/scent. Also, just a heads up: no breakfast (we didn't need it, but it's good to know).

Room was nice with plenty of fluffy pillows and 2 huge king size beds, plenty of bath towels and every one was so pleasant.

No fault of the hotel but there was pollution in the area from the air and hobos in the area under the bridges who had lots of trash with them.

The location was good for me, since I had event nearby. Staff and check-in was also great. Price is good comparable to value. Very clean and safe. AC was good, too.

Not so quiet, basically on the highway. They reserve your money on card before, and then again you need to pay in sight, that is not a good practice. No breakfast.

This is a nice well maintained place that I would stay at again. Traffic is bad at times, so if it is backed up to Holly Hall Street then take the backroads to Naomi Street to cut around the backup.

Almeda is under construction right in front of this place and the access road has two of three lanes closed. The light at the freeway makes the problem worse by only letting three or four cars thru at a time. At peak times it can take over 20 minutes to get from Holly Hall Street to the entrance. A good trick is to use Naomi Street to cut around the backup. WEEKEND traffic is not an issue.

This is a small motel that is privately owned and is probably a family run operation. Despite it being old it is very well maintained. I've stayed here on several occasions and every room I've been in has been recently renovated. The rooms are nicer than other more expensive places like the NRG Holiday Inn. The parking lot is very well lit.

It's not their fault, but traffic is bad due to construction. Between 4:00pm and 6:00pm is the worst, but if you come a back way on Naomi Street you can miss most of it.

The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful! That for $100 a night, one could expect to have more than one packet of sugar, and more than one small pack of shampoo. We had to leave home without much prep so didn’t bring these things. I

The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful! The parking lot was well-lit, which was good. During his last stay in Houston, my partner had the catalytic converters stolen off his truck.

Place is nice, clean and the one staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

One minor drawback, they are using covid as an excuse not to have the continental breakfast, whereas the place I stayed the next night in San Antonio served a nice hot breakfast buffet style.
