The hotel was central to the Museum District and the Houston Zoo, as well as Rice Village where we found lots of restaurants. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The shuttle was an unexpected bonus and we used it several times to get around. The pool was broken while we were there, but it is beautiful, and the restaurant, outdoor terrace and gym were great.
Two things: Since the hotel is located in the hospital area, there are sirens and car alarms going off randomly and waking you up during the night, especially if you're not used to city noise. The Metro Red Line is convenient to get downtown, but is also constantly dinging from early until late (10th floor)--this is not the hotel for you if sleeping in is part of the plan. Second: Did not enjoy that you couldn't see out of the bedroom windows unless you are right next to them. Both rooms felt a little claustrophobic and dark because of the high windows and it definitely ruins the first impression of the room, but to be fair, once we got used to not being able to see out, the rooms were very comfortable.

Travelling for work we ate in the restaurant each morning and evening. The breakfast always delivered and I certainly recommend the salads from this season's menu. The staff were friendly and accommodating to all our requests food and otherwise. The valet service was also exceptional, the whole team incredibly friendly and although there is a cost, this service is highly convenient after a long day.
Nothing to comment.

We didn’t have the breakfast. We liked the cleanliness and comfort. Beautiful room and comfortable pillows.
It’s challenging to park in downtown Houston and we had trouble finding the parking area. If we hadn’t gotten a discount (special rate) the hotel would have been too expensive for us. We stayed in some hotels in Houston before and even $250 a night is a marginal room.

I just have to mention the girl that checked me in on thursday night, Joy. It was after eleven when I got there, and I'd had a very long hard day. After getting off work near Tyler, i drove straight down to the hotel. She was so kind and polite it really brightened it's the rough day I had had. I just want to put a big THANK YOU out there to her!

Be prepared for Valet Parking Only. That's the one fact that should be noted beforehand.

it was close to MD Anderson, Medical Center, which is why we were in town. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. we also used the shuttle services, which were wonderful.
The room is on the smaller side.

It was beautiful at night. The 5 th floor outdoor terraces in the middle of the medical center. Pool was great. Good views. Beautiful facility
Restaurant at location was expensive. At the price a complimentary breakfast would be nice

The bedding-sheets were very nice and made sleeping temperature cooler. We ordered dinner one night and the food was very fast and very good quality. My husband was having surgery at MD Anderson so the location was convenient for us and we like the shuttle car staff. Modesto was very helpful. Our floor and room was very quiet and felt safe. We especially liked the high tech system on the elevators.
The mattresses on the beds were not stationary so as it moved on it’s stationary base I hurt my legs on the sharp wood corners of the base. That’s dangerous. And I’m physically able and aware. Not my fault. The check-in desk wasn’t on the 1st floor. It was on the 5th. That took a bit of getting used to but ok. When we first entered our room the staff member didn’t show us some items that would’ve been helpful. The lighting (i.e, lamps in the room) was inadequate. One lamp on a high bar table & 2 tiny lights by beds. There was no full length mirror for dressing. I’ve never seen that in a 4star hotel.
