It was charming, a historic building but with some modern touches of decor that made it cool. The king room gave us plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. We also liked the adjacent porch that looked out toward the entrance to the River Walk. Parking next to the building was very convenient. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

The lounge chair was a little bit low-slung and my husband found it hard to get out of. We were charged for two beers and a canned water beverage that we did not consume from the minibar, and it took a phone call plus a follow-up email to get all three charges taken off our folio.

I love historic hotel it was old yet super clean it was like a time machine to another era . Staff was friendly everything was antique yet clean . Rooms had high ceilings , windows with wooden shutters, electricity was obviously added later . The ac was cold full size refrigerator and one one the most comfortable beds and pillows I’ve experienced in awhile at a great price .

The hotel bar was a little too dark for my taste however some people like that dim speak easy appearance I find it hard to stay awake after a good meal and a couple of drinks .

Location is excellent! Walking distance to Alamo and Riverwalk.Parking very convenient and easy access to the lobby. The hotel has a vintage vibe and it’s historical.Friendly front desk staffs who share lots of valuable information about the city and best restaurants to eat, Adrian the front -desk girl very friendly and always smiling.

Little disappointed that their speakeasy bar downstairs was closed on Sunday. They only open on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. And the restaurant Ocho was closed. Felt little let down as I was looking forward dining at Ocho. But found a great restaurant at Riverwalk that serves the best Margaritas and Spanish food. Must try Iron Cactus when in San Antonio.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The ambiance of the hotel, the architecture, the welcoming lobby, the fragrance, the comfortable bed.

The was nowhere in the bathroom to put your hair, makeup and body care products. A small rectanglular table with shelves would have been nice. A second small chair would have also been appreciated as well as a second luggage rack.

The Hotel is truly beautiful and charming. The staff was very friendly, parking is cheaper than most other hotels in San Antonio. Above all, this is not one of the big chains and it shows in the uniqueness of the rooms (e.g. nice bathrobes, fully stocked fridge/minibar, beautiful decor). It’s located very conveniently on the river walk, just a short walk from the center and far enough away to be quiet.

The bed is quite squeaky, if you move around a lot in your sleep. Our room also had a noisy fan that we were unable to turn off. That unfortunately hindered us from getting a great nights sleep, even though we really enjoyed our stay. There is free coffee in the mornings and many places to get breakfast in the area.

Lovely decor a real touch of history The room was beautiful, slightly small Free coffee in the reception area in the morning Perfect location for access to the Riverwalk

The chest of drawers was vintage and was tricky, the top drawer stuck and we couldn't open it fully Even though coffee was available in the reception in the morning, a coffee maker in the room would have been a nice touch

It's on a less, busy more pleasant part of the River Walk, 12 minutes from the Alamo. The rooms are arranged elegantly in a historic building with some funky touches an orange Smeg fridges, brightly upholstered arm chairs, They have actual keys, not the generic sterility of some big hotel chains

I'd sent a message asking about parking rates. No reply. And then I got all tehese check-in reminders that have you check boxes about liability and extra fees and such - it felt like they expected their guests to be belligerent criminals. The staff were actually quite friendly though

Hotel is always a pleasure to stay, staff is always lovely and a pleasure to deal with, it is a step back in time once you walk in the doors

I wish there was a coffee maker in room so we could lounge and sip coffee to get our day started or maybe a coffee bar in lobby for guests to come grab a cup of cuban coffee? Fridge is always stocked and we have always enjoyed grabbing some snacks, only suggestion would be ask guest if they are drinkers or not and if they prefer more wine or beer options ...

The hotel had a quaint old tiny charm which I liked. The staff was sufriendly and helpful for the most part. I wanna commend Rudy , the front desk clerk. He was very friendly and very helpful.

There was a bad smell in part of the 3rd floor.

The room was perfect, overlooking the River Walk. The location was very close to the venue we were attending. The restaurant, Ocho was absolutely delicious! I had some of the best mussels I've ever had and would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Havana! Eat at the restaurant, and don't forget to check out the bar!

There was really nothing that we did not like
