The staff was really nice. The room was very comfortable. The location to the Riverwalk was great. Breakfast was almost perfect. Where's the grits!

I didn't like how slow the elevators were. I didn't like that there were no vent fan in the bathroom or at least complimentary spray. I definitely did NOT LIKE THE MANAGER'S RECEPTION! What happened to the nachos, popcorn, cocktail weiners, etc.? The price of the rooms have gone up so treat the Manager's Reception as something to be proud to give your patrons and not the cheap poor man's reception. Also, how much would it hurt to provide complimentary bottled water in the rooms? These are things one would expect from a high price hotel.

Overall, our stay was excellent. The breakfast was really good, we appreciated the options and abundance. The staff was professional and helpful. The size of the room was generous and comfortable. The responsiveness of staff was excellent. The location of the hotel was wonderful and so convenient.

The sheets didn't fit the beds and we constantly had to remake our beds so the mattress was covered -- this was super annoying! The beds themselves were comfortable but they really need to purchase sheets that fit the beds and don't slip off the second you lay on them. It is also a bummer that you have to pay for valet parking and it added another $50+ to the nightly charge. And lastly, it would be nice for there to be side tables on both sides of the bed so everyone has a place to plug in their phone, a glass of water, etc.

It was amazing! Very comfortable. Courteous staff. Breakfast had made to order option for omelettes which was perfect for someone health and diet conscious like me. Complimentary evening reception was excellent. I felt like I was in an all inclusive resort

The property itself was perfect. No complaints. Absolutely loved our time there. Perfect location. However, the parking lot right across the hotel where we parked our car has ants infestation. Our car got infested with ants and it’s been 4 days since and we are still doing remedies to get ants out of our car. So please watch where you park and don’t leave any food crumbs in the car to invite or the whole ant colony will move into your car!

We had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and the beds were very comfortable. The room was like a small apartment with a dining table, fridge and microwave. The location is on the "riverwalk" but a short 3-4 block walk is necessary before you are on the main part of it. Not long of a walk at all. Staff was very friendly and there was always someone cleaning something. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome and you even had a choice of a made to order breakfast. I will definitely be back again. (Complimentary alcoholic beverages were served from 5:30-7:30 each night)

The valet was excellent Brandon and Gerard were on it and then were super informative of routes and options we can take very good hospitality. Valet is some of the first people you see and they were welcoming really set the tone. Then the front desk agan lady was also very nice. Loved the breakfast and the view we had.

The elevators were a disaster we had to walk down and walk up to the 12th floor a couple of times cause we were waiting forever This is my only complaint on this stay.

Jazmine took care of me..... help me on my away to the hotel, and then took care of all my needs registering and getting oriented to the facility and area...... delightful and friendly. I have stayed at most of the downtown hotels. And would rate the Embassy Suites as the best value for the price.

Elevators were a bit slow..... but not a big deal. And of course the cost of valet parking at all downtown hotels encourages you to consider those out by the airport

The property is in the heart of everything and on the Riverwalk. You can walk to all the places within just a few blocks. Our two room suite was very nice allowing for plenty of room and comfort. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was super nice! Here’s the kicker and don’t sleep on this advice, no other property can beat the breakfast!!!!! If you’re trying to decide between places to stay, choose the Embassy if just for the breakfast!!!! Carry on and you’re welcome.

We had no issues and will stay here again without looking at other places. This is our go to property.

This is an amazing hotel with an excellent location. They have a "happy hour" with 2 free alcoholic drinks and snacks from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, never seen that before and what a nice thing to have! The complimentary breakfast in the morning was excellent, delicious made-to-order omelets and red-skin potatoes along with all the other normal breakfast things. The best complimentary breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The room was nice and quiet and excellent A/C. The pool was a little small and got busy at night but we ended up going early in the morning our 2nd time and had the pool to ourselves. The location is right on the Riverwalk with a beautiful waterfall right underneath the hotel that makes an amazing backdrop for photos. We didn't have to wait long to check in even on a Saturday at 4:30pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations to local restaurants, etc. The hotel felt very safe as they kept all doors locked after a certain time of day except for the front doors. We were all impressed with this hotel and highly recommend!!!

Pool could have been bigger, have more amenities for the kids and the restaurant on-site is too fancy and not appealing to families, no kids menu or anything really for picky eaters so we had to eat elsewhere.

The breakfast and happy hour were fantastic. The people in the dining room who worked there were helpful and diligent. The location is great and is well located to the tourist attractions. I was also impressed with the team of valets. They made sure that all your needs were taken care of.

I was not impressed with the front desk staff at all. They were not helpful and didn't know simple requests for information. I had difficulty checking in and checking out.

My check-in was easy, quick, and I was treated professionally. Front desk, Albert, assisted me with dinner recommendations. Your bartenders were very nice.

The hotel lacks hospitality. Staff does not greet guests outside of approaching the front desk. Maybe I had better expectations of the Hilton name, plus San Antonio is a warm city. Had an issue with valet and front desk's response to our complaint was that they are sub-contracted. 🤨 The lobby bar does not open until 4 on Sunday, so this was inconvenient
