Convenient location, clean and comfortable. Yvette at the front desk was so sweet, giving us suggestions for restaurants and gave us the number for a courtesy ride service! This so appreciated! I have mobility issues and even though most downtown attractions are within .5 to .8, this totally free service in an electric vehicle was just what I needed! Every time we walked into the lobby, Yvette was smiling and welcoming us! So nice❤️

Room was smaller in size than most, but very comfortable! You had to walk a block to park, but the parking fees were only $10/day.

I liked the location - they had music playing in the evening near the park, there's also a large park down the road where kids can play, there's a Domino's next door and monitored parking nearby. You do have to pay for the parking but it's down around the corner - short walk. The room was very clean and comfortable stay for my husband, myself and our 4 year old daughter.

It was confusing when we first pulled in - where to park? The front desk agent explained it all and it was quick check in process and finding the parking area was easy to navigate with the directions given.

Room was great. Compact but well laid out with a nice bathroom/shower. Extremely well updated historic building. Very short walk to the river walk and plenty of lively restaurants and bars nearby. Lovely location.

Breakfast area was very packed. They either need more breakfast seating, or longer hours. Nowhere to sit, so we ate in our room.

Loved everything about this place from check-in to check out. We love the fact that our hotel was actually on a ghost tour that we took.

The only mirror was in the bathroom with the lighting around the edges. You really couldn't see your reflection. Should be some kind of dressing mirror inside the bedroom itself.

Great location. Beautiful property. Check-in was simple. The rooms are spacious and clean. Continental Breakfast was exceptional. We only stayed one night while passing through the city but will definitely be staying again on our future visits. 10/10

The staff was friendly The rooms were big nice and clean The parking wasn't that great But we did get handicap in the front But they had plenty parking in the back overall it was nice place not to mention we had an excellent breakfast freshly cooked breakfast and very close to the Riverwalk

The parking

We liked the proximity to our venue. We liked the history of the building. We liked the staff. They were very helpful.

We didn't feel safe to go out at night. We didn't like the parking issue. There was a bad scent in the room .The television didn't pick up any of the local channels.

Overall the place was good

The parking situation was horrible no gate pass was issued when we were told they provided a gate pass for guess that stayed there at a near by lot and had to park a goods way down the road at another location parking there is limited

What makes this place stand out is the staff - I had a minor accident - self-inflicted - while staying here and the hotel made sure that I got to my room as checked in on me regularly to make sure I was ok. When it came time for me to leave, they kindly looked after my bags until later in the day so I had some extra time to check out the city.

The hotel is in the buildin g that served as the city jail for about 80 years (our room on the 4th floor actually had bars on the outside windows). I was out in front when two nighttime city walking tours went by. One of the people on the tour told me that the guide had said the building was haunted. The location is only about four blocks from the "Riverwalk" area which has many bars, restaurants and hotels as well as pontoon boat tours of the river.

There is a parking lot right next to the hotel but they charge over $23 per night for using the valet service.
