The room had a nice view of the River Walk.

There was a lot of noise from the elevators running. Valet service on checkout was very slow and seemed very unorganized.

The location directly on the River Walk is exceptional. The staff was super friendly. The valet attendant was also very informative.

Parking went up to $56 a day which is not what it was when we booked. You have no choice but to pay it as there is literally nowhere you can park. There were crumbs and paper on the floor in the hallway the entire 3 days we stayed, I guess they don't vacuum the hallway when they clean the rooms.

We loved the location and the fact that it was right next to the Riverwalk. The hotel is situated so well that we could walk to most of the sights we wanted to see and also conveniently close to an array of restaurants, which we loved. The rooms where spacious enough that a family of 4 could stay comfortably. We only made use of the in room dining, however having breakfast in the beautiful restaurant was brilliant. We highly recommend the Westin to anyone wanting to visit San Antonio.

Our stay was delightful. The whole hotel was relaxed yet elegant, with helpful and welcoming staff. The pool was lovely on hotter days. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the beds are super-comfortable. We enjoyed being right on the Riverwalk, and we also appreciated the security of the porte cochere driveway for unloading the car on arrival.

Very little not to like. Being super-picky, we found the pillows a bit too high and would have preferred softer down pillows.

The hotel is beautiful with a great location, and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge at check-in. The bed is heaven.

It took two calls and one in-app request plus more than four hours to get bedding for the fold out sofa. Beer cans sat on the table in the elevator lobby all weekend, and the floor of the elevator lobby really needed to be mopped. No one made up our room when we were out all weekend.

Beautiful Christmas lights in trees, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, staff was great and very helpful. The lobby was beautiful and it’s a in a quiet peaceful location.

Our safe did not work and they didn’t have one to replace it with. The air conditioning unit didn’t cool very well. It never got hot but it just didn’t cool.

It was very pretty with Christmas decorations. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable.

I didn’t like the location of the room. It was down by the pool area with lots of kids. And in that area there were no hanging Christmas lights in the trees. I will ask for a room in a different location next time. One of the main reasons I go is to see the lights outside of my balcony. I had a view of the parking garage.

Stayed in a king room with a balcony over the riverwalk. Nice room (nothing exceptional, but nice), comfortable bed and bedding, mini fridge, TV had Bluetooth so we were able to listen to Pandora from our phone. Good view from balcony. The bar on the riverwalk, in the hotel, was nice, large, and has outdoor seating as well.

Petra the concierge was amazing. She took it to the next level. Thank you, Petra for making our weekend really special. I really have to thank the restaurant also for the really great food and wine pairing menu . We’ve done this twice and it is outstanding.
