Check in was friendly and efficient, room was quiet and comfortable, pool and hot tub clean & well stocked with towels, but the main highlight of this hotel was the amazing happy hour food and beverages, as well as the morning breakfast buffet that was included and since there was 7 of us, made the hotel room practically free! They had a popcorn machine that was hot and ready to go by 4:30, and at 5 Happy hour food "appetizers" were served Buffet style, and was actually a full on meal of BBQ pork sliders, mac and cheese, coleslaw, salad and a nacho bar! Room included 2 free drinks from the bar per adult, and the soda machine was available for the kids. Breakfast in the am was just as plentiful and a great variety there as well! Truly a 5 star hotel experience! Bonus was the River Walk was right there, and the walk to the Alamo was 3 minutes!
If you drove there, Be prepared for a $39.00 charge to park your car, on top of the room charge.

Location is the best. Right on the Riverwalk. The breakfast buffet and the 5:30 kickback is awesome. A+. There is plenty of space in our room with great views of downtown and the Riverwalk. The valets were very prompt in retrieving our car and very courteous.
The weather was cold and gloomy but that's beyond the Drurys control.

The Drury was so nice and clean! The breakfast bar and happy hour snacks had something for everyone! The hotel was in a great location for the riverwalk. I would definitely recommend staying here!
The countertop was a little small for the size of the bathroom, but that's just my opinion, and I definitely wouldn't let that stop me from staying there!

The establishment was stunning. We had previously stayed at a la Quinta inn on military drive in order to accommodate my Airman’s German Shepard to be able to see him while on his town pass from Lackland AFB and the conditions were disgusting. We cancelled our reservations for two weeks later with them due to this so we wouldn’t have to exist in those conditions when my second son graduated BMT. Drury made the second trip to San Antonio SO MUCH BETTER! Comfort, nastalgia, and class is what they offer at Drury.
The shakiness of the elevators… not all of them, but a couple were sketchy. The rooftop pool is amazing… however, the 4 year old we were with got out of the pool and burned her feet on the tiles and got no relief from the tabletop she grabbed onto to lift herself up off of the tiles as the tabletop she grabbed was just as scorching. Luckily our airman was not able to be in the pool so he was able to grab her.

From the moment we arrived I knew we had found a great hotel. Customer service was on point! Teresa, at check in, was kind and took the time to explain everything. During breakfast, hotel employees would check in with us to see how everything was going and one even went the extra step to ask if we needed any recommendations for nearby attractions before our afternoon flight. We LOVED that both breakfast and an evening snack was served each day - and that evening snack could definitely be a meal! In addition, each adult received a coupon for 3 FREE drinks each evening - wow! Finally, the location was PERFECT! Not knowing the city, we tried our best to find a hotel on the River Walk. Drury is part of the inner loop of the River Walk making it easy to get to restaurants and sight see.
Not that we didn't like it, but the breakfast meal was the same two days in a row. Many hotels with breakfast will switch it up from day to day.

breakfast was nice to have on site, we had a our 9 year granddaughter with us. We would have liked to have more fruit available on the line. Everything was good and the staff all were very nice.
Everything was great. The housekeeping staff on our 21st floor were very nice and accommodating, the front desk staff was very helpful from check in and throughout the staff, they answered all of our questions. We went to Tellers 3 nights out of our 6 nights. The staff there were very nice and attentive. We had no complaints.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The lobby is absolutely fantastic—a beautiful, historic space with lots of charm. And the location is excellent—just a quick 2-minute walk to the River Walk. The valet parking service was awesome—fast, friendly, and super helpful every time.
The free breakfast and afternoon snack are a nice touch, though the food quality was just average. One thing to note, no complimentary bottled water was provided in the room. My room was close to the elevator, which made it a bit noisy at times. The entry door to our unit made a very strange, loud noise whenever nearby doors were shut—it honestly sounded like someone was trying to open our door, which was a little unsettling.

-Luis Figueroa - Front Desk Mgr. Helped search for a lost credit card and even sifted through some trash we had thrown away to help look for it. Incredibly nice man that went out of his way to be helpful, since my friend was on crutches and couldn't easily get around. -Teresa, who at the time was at the desk that holds luggage, was kind enough to give my friend a key card after checking out on 5/6 to go to the basement and use the bathroom. -There were 2-3 young valets (5/6 at approx. 2:30 pm) were incredibly helpful in locating my friend’s vehicle after she gave them the wrong name at check-in, and they assisted her in loading her vehicle, since she was on crutches. -Several times throughout our stay my friend who was on crutches called the front desk to request things like toilet paper, extra towels & bottled water charged to the room & they were kind enough to send someone to our room with those items. The staff were extremely professional & helpful. -Employees cleaning & caring for the food/coffee/soda areas were friendly & welcoming. So were all the maintenance & housekeeping staff we came across during our stay.
Only complaint: Valet parking was incredibly busy on our day of check-in 5/3 & my friend was told by the valet that she would receive a text (to the mobile number she provided) that would be used for vehicle pickup, and it was never texted to either of us. That made check-out & location of her car difficult on 5/6.

There are lots of good things to mention. The staff was all exceedingly nice, the bar was awesome, the basement had cool historical pictures and artifacts. The best for me though was a tip we got the staff to check out the mezzanine. It was empty and had a great breeze, wonderful view, and the cathedral had a light show that was awesome.
Roof pool was a little busy for my liking but that is more about me cause everyone was lovely, the food was buffet style and for a free breakfast and dinner that is great, but might be worth hitting the riverwalk if you want a better dining experience.

We loved how easy it was to find, easy driving up to leave our vehicle, the beauty inside the lobby, the rooftop pool & hot tubs, the wonderful complimentary breakfasts & dinners, how close it was to the Riverwalk, restaurants & attractions. The biggest asset there are the employees who were all gracious, courteous, helpful, and went the extra mile with a smile. Someone has hired special people and trained them well in hospitality.
The room was adequate, though not spacious. Hearing the nearby elevator going up and down from the room could be a problem for someone, but it didn’t disturb our rest.
