Everything was good the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

The host at the front desk was rude. I stood in line and listened to him be helpful and nice to everyone before me and when I got there to the front he just said (in or out”). I said checking in he asked for my name looked it up said okay here if you have questions there’s notes in your key book! Didn’t explain valet, check out time, breakfast anything just a here you go get out of here.

Home2 Suites has not disappointed us yet. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is located right on the Riverwalk in San Antonio and you can walk down to the Riverwalk from the hotel lobby. The rooms are always well-lit and spacious. The beds are comfortable and there is so much storage.

If you have a car, you'll need to use the valet or find alternative parking options in the area. The hotel is combined with Hampton Inn & Suites so that was a little confusing at first arrival. The breakfast layout it a little odd because half of the dining area is for Hampton and other for Home2 Suites but most people I think ended up on the Hampton side because that's where the coffee bar was located.

The breakfast was excellent and the entire breakfast area was kept very clean in which cleanliness is super important.

The only thing that would have made my stay better was that I called in advance to reported that my flight had been cancelled several times and I could not get there to due to weather issues, it would have been nice if a credit or discount be given to me when I arrived. It was not my fault that my flight was delayed and I could not arrive on the day I had planned to.

I absolutely love the location of this hotel. Everything was close by within walking distance, which was absolutely amazing. I also loved the fact that they had a mini kitchen which included a fridge ,dishwasher, Toaster and a microwave so we could have our own snacks so we wouldn’t have to constantly go eat out when we were hungry. I will say that if you do valet which is $49, it does allow you to go in and out of the garage as you please. But they do you have self parking for $30 overnight. It just means that you can’t go in and out. .

The only thing I really didn’t like was the fact that two out of the three elevators were shut down, so it made coming in and out of the hotel a little tricky especially during breakfast time. 

The stay was fine. The hotel itself was beautiful. Loved that it was right on the Riverwalk! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy that part of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had no choice but to pay for parking or valet. There was lots of construction going on so the hotel was hard to get to and for someone who has never been before it was very stressful. Did not have any complementary toiletries ie: toothbrush, comb, etc so if you forgot anything you would just have to wait to go buy it. I have never had any hotel not have anything even really cheap ones.

Our room was very roomy. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast room was wonderful, with great selections on both sides. The view of the Riverwalk was excellent. The pool is on the rooftop, also overlooking the Riverwalk.

When we arrived, our toilet didn't flush. We called the front desk, and we were told they were doing something with the pipes. But it took a while before we could flush. We needed sheets for the sofa bed and other supplies, but had to call several times before getting what we needed. Parking was $47 a night.

Perfect location! Quiet end of the Riverwalk but walkability was great. Room was a great size for our big family & we loved the large fridge and real dishes. Beautiful hotel and the pool area was dreamy. Gorgeous views at breakfast while eating and was provided large variety of options daily. The 24 hour tea & coffee came in handy. The key coded elevators & pool on the second floor made us feel so safe. Staff was so friendly & accommodating. Everyone made you feel welcome. We will tell all of our friends & we will be back

Breakfast was delicious and love the variety every day they had different options. The waffle 🧇 machine was my kids favorite 😻 location was perfect 😍 had access to the river walk 👏 it was a great experience 🙏🏻

Maybe a bigger pool , it was always busy but cute 🥰 it is a kids safe pool only 3ft deep it worked perfect for us because we have little kids. But maybe a 2nd pool would be a good option. We did like the pool very convenient for us for our kids. Kids loved it 🥰

Some things i really liked was the house keeping for the hotel because they cleand the room and even left extras in there.

We did not like that the Hotel did not have its own parking garage in the location . Valet parking felt forced to pay because we did not have another choice , we were told the parking spaces were 3 blocks away from the hotel had we wanted to park our vehicle ourself .

The pool was so warm! Spacious room and comfy beds. The gym was supplied with high end machines and equipment. Excellent location.

The amount of single use plastic and polystyrene at breakfast was grotesque. This is a high quality hotel with lots of high end features and the enjoyment of breakfast was significantly reduced by not only using the disposal items but seeing the magnitude of waste generated daily. The valet parking is ~$45/day with no other options at the hotel for self parking. I parked for $15/day in a locked multistory covered lot close by. This was a frustrating extra step. Why not just provide affordable on site self parking.
