I loved that our room was in a corner, so we got a 3 window view and it was beautiful. The staff were nice and the room was clean. Love the modern look! The location is in downtown which makes walking distance to attractions not too far.

The shower door seems to be a bit janky, as if it is on the verge of breaking. Also, breakfast was a bit confusing. We thought Element breakfast was on the first floor, but that floor is for the other hotel that is directly connected and it was not free. I feel there needs be more signs that signifies which areas of the building are for which hotel.

The staff was amazing and the breakfast was great for the most part I loved the French toast and the front desk staff was super kind and helpful! Location of the hotel made it simple and easy to go and explore San Antonio and the river walk! the hotel also had safety measures to ensure only hotel guest were allowed in after 11! Definitely a great place to stay with your spouse or family!

The elevators scared the life out of me each one sounded like it was banging on the wall felt like I was going to fall, also different periods during the day the I would select my floor but the elevator didn’t move or would go to a different floor. I did have a problem with connecting my PS5 to the TV the first guy who came up tried his best but he had to get someone else but they never showed luckily I ran into him on the floor later that day and he let me know to try connecting it to the box on the wall (which worked)

The location is great ! My Grandparents lived on Commerce St where my Grandpa ran the Harkness Pipe Shop. I have stayed in most all the Hotels on the river over the years La Mansion, Menger, Mokara, Gunner, Home 2 Hilton, Crockett, Westin, Contessa. I keep coming back to the Element because of the rooms (especially facing the Courthouse and the Church). Many Hotels on the river are small and noisy and expensive. The Element has large clean confortable rooms at a good price. Parking is nearby and does not have to be Valet. The breakfast's are great and Staff very efficient and kind.

Obviously there is some construction all over downtown and it can represent some obstacles, but that's progress. The crowding can be annoying, but the riverwalk has been that way at times since 1968, We were lucky this year to be just before the Final Four.

This is my first stay in the Element brand. WOW!! This place is amazing! LOVED the modern suite setup with a nice kitchen. The staff were so awesome and were super accommodating. The suite was ridiculously clean and tidy. Housekeeping services are only every other day which for me works. I don't need full service everyday. I had the housekeeper get me a bunch of extra towels and coffee and I was set. I only had them in once during my four day stay. The morning breakfast is included in the room price and it's really nice. Several choices for one to eat a nice brekkie before heading out. I only made it down there twice but both times were nice. Will DEFINITELY look for the Element brand again when traveling and when returning to San Antonio I'll be returning to this location.

THE HOTEL IS AMAZING!! WONDERFUL ROOMS SUPER SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN. THE LOCATION IS GREAT , CLOSE TO EVERYTHING JUST WALKING SO IT IS BIG PLUS THE ROOFTOP IS VERY NICE . STAFF BEGINNING WITH THE CHECK IN WITH CAREY AND ZACHARY WAS SUPER AWESOME, THEY EXPLAINED TO US HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE HOTEL AND I DID IT BECAUSE I CAN GET POINTS TO USE IN OTHER CHAIN HOTELS . SOMETHING THAT DID BLOWS MY MIND WAS THE BREAKFAST, OMG … IT IS A BUFFET STYLE WITH EVERYTHING YOU EXPECT FROM A GREAT RESTAURANT , HOT FOOD , EVERY TYPE OF PASTRIES , MILKS , CEREALS , TONS OF FRESH FRUITS , YOGURTS, I MEAN EVERYTHING YOU WANT …I JUST LOVED IT ! I WILL GO TO THIS HOTEL FOR SURE ..

The breakfast and staff attending to the breakfast was significantly better than anticipated. Really good options, quality and presentation. Great job. Finishes, towels, amenities, accommodations, etc. all very tasteful. clean and inviting. Tasteful lobby and room decor. Tea, coffee and water available in the lobby. Inviting and pleasant experience overall.

We paid for a room with king bed, as advertised, but on arrival we discovered that, while the platform may have been king-sized, the mattress most certainly was not. It was probably queen-sized. I attached photos to illustrate the discrepancy. So that was a bit disappointing, possibly disingenuous. No way to know if that was short-term or prevalent. It was large enough that we weren't compelled to complain, but since you asked... That said, the mattress and bedding materials, comforter etc. were really comfy.

The hotel was very nice, clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing I loved the fact that everyday it was different breakfast dishes which made this hotel stand out completely from other hotels who serve the same breakfast every morning, in addition to that they had a good variety of foods to choose from. The staff were very nice and informative on a lot of things and they all were willing to go the extra mile to help suite me and my family comfortably.

NO POOL. I was very upset at the fact this hotel has no pool and I personally feel with what people are paying nightly, plus parking fees to stay at this hotel, they should have a pool. I was not aware of this until check in and the front desk informed me i would have to download the app “Resort Pass” which shows a list of hotels you could go swim at BUT YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE A PASS. Every hotel on the app has different prices with majority starting from $50 and up. During the time I traveled to this location was during July so of course everything is going to be more expensive considering the fact it’s peak season and the passes were going for $100 plus. So this was very disappointing and such an inconvenience for me and family.

The hotel was within walking distance to everything you really want to see and do in San Antonio - the Riverwalk, Alamo, convention center, and restaurants. There was a parking garage just feet away. The kitchenette was a huge plus, and breakfast was terrific!

The elevators honestly made us nervous. They made really loud clanking noises and didn’t always take you to the floor you chose. There was also construction around one side of the building. Our room had a beautiful view, but my parents’ faces the construction.

I really loved staying at the Element. It was a short walk from very good restaurants, convenience stores and access to the riverwalk Facilities felt new and had everything I needed in my room, which was huge and very comfy. This hotel offers courtesy water + water fountains in every floor which is GREAT, I feel that so many hotels have stopped doing this. Breakfast was also complete and had different options. I would definitely stay here again ☺️

Great location, sitting on the outskirts of the downtown main hustle and bustle. Close enough to shops, restaurants, and the River Walk without feeling like you're missing out. Room was large and comfortable. When we checked in, they notified us that our room was facing the ongoing city construction and offered us a different room at no extra charge.

Parking is valet only at $50/night, so we opted to park in the public parking garage next to the hotel for $32/night.
