My wife and I spent a long weekend in Chesapeake visiting family. The staff was friendly and helpful, The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are numerous malls and restaurants within a short drive.

The breakfast was not so great. While it was your typical hotel 'free' breakfast, it was below par. The so-called "free range" (dehydrated/powdered) scrambled eggs tasted like chalk and there were few options otherwise. They ran out of waffle syrup and the attendant apologized for the sugar free alternative syrup while saying it was a busy weekend?? While close to malls and restaurants, it is not that close to any major attractions in the area so expect to drive.

The remodeling of the property was very impressive, Great State of the Art. Comfortable, quiet and great location. The breakfast was also awesome.

That my stay was too short. Very relaxing weekend, I wished that we could have stayed longer.

The location of the facility was perfect. I like that it was close to major shopping retailers and restaurants. We were there for a wedding and it was about 25 minutes from the venue. If I need to come back to the area I would stay here again. The day attend (I don't remember her name) is an absolute jewel, but the night attendant not so much.

The A/C unit barely cooled off the room. If the fan did continually run the roome was stuffy, but running it made the floor feel like they were damp. We were there for only two nights, so I didn't complain, but room 110 unit needs maintenance done. My grandson started feeling the affects of it on the last night.

When we drove up, I felt that the hotel gave a very nice and welcoming atmosphere. Once I made it to lobby (which was small yet cozy) I proceeded to the front desk where I was greeted by David. He was professional and courteous in helping me get a room for my mother and I. Once I got to the room, I was pleased to see the decor and that the room was clean and the bathroom had a beautiful walk-in shower. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was on point every day! Overall, the accommodations for my mother and I were very comfortable and clean. I would definitely come back again for a stay.

We stayed at the Fairfield on our way to the beach. Our family came from different states and met there so we could have an easy trip the following day. Everything about the facility worked for us. The location, the rooms, the pool, and the breakfast were everything we hoped for to make the beginning of our vacation a memorable one.

There was nothing I did not like

Room was clean. Sink was outside the shower and toilet room which was different from what we were used to but fine. Breakfast was very good plenty of chairs. Staff was very pleasant.

Sheets felt scratchy and had a crispy sound. Please change the way you launder the sheets or switch out to softer sheets.

The front desk staff was excellent!! Always greeted with a smile and very engaging. A++ Hotel was clean and easily accessible.

Rooms was very noisy from free way traffic. Toilet handle either was not installed right or it's the wrong size as we fought with it the entire stay, almost afraid it would fall off. Other than that, stay was fine. Would stay again.

Breakfast was very nice. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Colette and Tracy at the front desk were beyond amazing. I booked the room for my daughter and they were so helpful. They let her check in early since a room was available, instead of just waiting in lobby. I didn't even ask. I would definitely stay here again.

The front staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very much above average, with excellent choices and lots of them. Great oatmeal, waffles and eggs and breakfast meats. The breakfast hostess was exceptional and ran a clean and organized breakfast area. Housekeeping was superb!

I don't think I had directly asked for a quiet room, but the room i had was extremely comfortable and quiet. I liked being tucked away in a back corner as I was staying alone and it made me feel safer as a feminine presenting person. I liked the decor and colors that were utilized in the rooms. The desk chair and desk were both very comfortable.
