The room was big, clean and comfortable with all the amenities one would expect of a 5 star hotel. Location is fantastic, on a quiet street, walking distance to all the main sights and landmarks.

Quite pretentious. Also, when I was checking out I was not allowed to leave the hotel until my room had been checked - in all the hotels I have stayed in this was a first! I had a room only booking and was not allowed to add on breakfast at check in, I was told to deal directly with the restaurant. I could not keep a card on file for charges. I ordered room service which could not be added to the room so I had to pay when the meal was delivered. I would have preferred to have my card on file and charge room service or if there were any issues with the room to the card. A shame to leave a beautiful hotel feeling like I was not valued and could not be trusted, and as a result unlikely I would return or recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. We had a junior suite and access to the executive lounge. We found service across all areas of the hotel to be excellent and faultless - all staff have a personality and were professional. The cleanliness of our room and all spaces was excellent. Breakfast was an amazing spread of options that were all well prepared. If we could give 4.75 stars we would as the only faults we could give is that they didn’t restock the mini bar in our room which is odd in our room type, and in our room the TV was not working well (lagged with the wifi connection) and the light coming in from curtains and the switches on the wall was a distraction at night. But would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, the reception area is so beautiful! We received a free room upgrade as a gift for being on our honeymoon, it was a very good size and had top quality amenities. The pool and gym area were befitting of a 5 star hotel in the middle of a busy city. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with everything you could want. The staff were very welcoming and very happy to assist and help with any questions.

Whilst the staff were very professional and friendly, we felt they lacked that personal touch we received at other hotels during our stay in Vietnam. The hotel also has a slightly corporate vibe where it hosts functions. It was a little annoying hearing business chat at breakfast when we are on our honeymoon! However none of this would put me off from coming back if we visited Ho Chi Minh City again.

Charming and modern design enchants a visitor at the first glance. The hotel is suited close to the city center, within walkable distance, however still providing silent haven, where you can relax by the poolside, after exhausting sightseeing or a tour in scorching tropical weather of southern Vietnam. Internal design and cleanliness makes you feel like being in a movie with Richard Gere. Nothing less could be said about a room, both cosy and aromatic. Special note is to be made about hotel's staff. These super friendly people would help you with anything, extremely polite and always available, speaking from my personal experience as we have encountered medical situation demanding a doctor. Thanks to these qualified personnel, It took no longer than 10 minutes from staff being notified until a doctor examining us at the nearest hospital. Definately recommend to have a dinner or a drink at least, at the rooftop bar! We would be honoured to visit the Mai House Saigon hotel once again!

An unbelievable experience. From check-in to check-out every moment was catered for. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless, pool and spa was sensational and food was delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast, the buffet selection was worldclass with everything from handmade sushi to french patisserie. The housekeeping were also wonderful, offering late night cookies and keeping the minibar and amenities stocked. Thank you everyone at Mai House.

Nothing, it exceeded my expectations tenfold.

Absolutely gorgeous 5 star hotel in District 3, which felt like being in an authentic part of Saigon with fewer tourists. Everything in walking distance. Rooms were large and beautiful. There was no doubt we were in a 5 star hotel the second we walked in. Beds were comfy, room was quiet, bathroom was large with a huge tub and great water pressure, plenty of hot water. Free water and mini-bar. Pool was nice. Any direction you walk, you will find plenty of restaurants, coffee, food stands, etc. We were walking distance to District 1 but chose not to spend any time there. Staff was responsive and wonderful.

The AC only went down to 20 degrees Celsius; would have liked to turn it a little colder at night. We also wanted to bring in some food from local stands but they wouldn't allow us to eat it at the pool (understandable since they served food from the hotel at the pool) or in the lobby (never run into this problem in other hotels).

A beautiful hotel in every way. We loved every minute if staying there and was so so sad to leave. Really everything you could ask from a five star hotel and more. Staff was amazing and the breakfast incredible.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the contact with the hotel before we checked in. It felt very impersonal and didn’t match the hotels premier vibe. One example is that we started booking airport transfer, then all of a sudden it was fully booked. To not be able to solve that felt a bit wierd. Also that we could not bring our baby to the rooftop. Ok if you don’t want kids running around there but surely you could make an exeption for a sleeping infant.

I would like to share my gratitude for the wellness provided by this hotel , we have enjoyed the stay it was an escape from the crowd that we used to in our city, being a citizen of dubai having access to luxury hotels on daily basis and this hotel is exactly and iconic one at the same time that offers same comfort as being home far away from home also the facilities and the modernity of the place was remarkable. My special thanks goes to VY she was so lovely and checked us in with smile and smoothly next day also met with her manager who was lovely and very kind. I want to thank phuong ( male from sky bar) he is very happy to assist with a lot of information and easy to connect with and will never let you feel alone. Thank you ☺️ I wish i have noted the name of the concierge guy who helped us before arrival he was so nice (wearing eye glasses). The breakfast was rich and varied team were very professional and well organised! I enjoyed the pool gym as well as the room service responsiveness. Overall amazing stay ! I definitely recommend report quality and price is indeed very well rated , do not hesitate to book this place it is the best !

Mai House is beautifully styled and decorated. The quality of the hotel facilities, room and surrounds is excellent.

Our room was not cleaned until 4pm. We were surprised to find the room not cleaned when we returned from sight seeing around 1pm. At 1pm, we requested housekeeping via the housekeeping bell at the door or the room. We enjoyed time by the hotel pool, and on returning around 4pm were advised housekeeping were ready to make up our room (including refreshing our bathroom towels). The delay in cleaning our room was very disappointing and is inconsistent with a hotel of this type, leaving us with no fresh towels to use after swimming in the pool.

We spent a night at Mai House and it provided the perfect base to explore HCMC for the first time. The hotel is a short walk from the War Remnants Museum and much of the city centre can be explored on foot as the hotel is within walking distance from the Central Station, the cathedral and other sightseeing spots. Our room was spacious, with lots of natural light and beautiful decor, as well as perfectly clean. Breakfast offered a wide range of options, both local and intercontinental. The gym was not very big but functional, and the swimming pool area was also a lovely addition especially in the heat of Vietnamese summer. The staff were very professional and welcoming, even though hotels of this size often lack the warmth that can be found in more boutique accommodations. We had a very pleasant stay at Mai House and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant and relaxing environment to break from the city’s hustle and bustle.

We asked to have breakfast upon our arrival as we had not had it due to a very early flight. We were told we had about 20 minutes before the buffet closed and were rushed all throughout the meal. Whilst we understand that respecting opening hours is important, this sort of pressure on guests isn’t very welcoming and also not in line with the standards expected from a hotel of this kind.
