I enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool which was not too crowded and a great way to cool heat in the heat. The hotel was fairly close to a lot of the attractions I wanted to visit. Only thing I wished was more things would be open later. And I had great interactions with most of the staff, the receptionists, the cleaners and the people during breakfast

I wish the property was more sustainable. There’s a lot of single use items in the bathroom that don’t need to be there. Also I was put off during the check out process. The manager suggested adding a 10 star review and proceeded to sit next to me, trying to watch me write the review.

Location was perfect. In leafy area of district 3. Close to war museum. Lots of cafes close by. Walking distance to district 1 Roof top bar and restaurant with small pool was perfect for relaxing.

Executive room did not have a separate bathroom from the sleeping area. Using the toilet and sink in the night disturbs others in the room.

Au Lac is an elegant hotel in the centre of Saigon. All the interior of the hotel is stylish. The rooms are nicely furnished with all amenities like good TV, kettle, safe, toiletries etc.. Our - Suite with Balcony - had a balcony which is an advantage. Breakfast was tasty & versatile. The hotel offers a small pool with a bar and loungers on 11th floor - very nice perk. The staff is kind, helpful and informative. We bought a trip to the delta from them and it was good. Definitely recommended hotel.

The room was advertised as 35 m2, in fact was more like 22 m2:-)

Breakfast was phenomenal.

Staff could have been more flexible. I came 10 minutes late to the afternoon tea and they refused to serve. I know there are rules but as a frequent guest, I would have appreciated a little more flexibility.

Great location, beautiful view and great little pool on the roof. Breakfast was perfect with lots vietnamese and international options. The room was a little small but clean and welcoming. I got a room with a window which is worth the price in my opinion. The staff was great, thank you !

The room is a little small for two people, and there's no real door between the bathroom and the bedroom. I was with a friend and it was ok but you'd need to consider it if you're not close to the person you're in the room with. Also the laundry's prices are absurd. That's it ! I loved this place and these are basically details.

We had the best stay at Auc Lac Legend Hotel. The location is very close to all the hot spots and I felt very safe walking around until late at night. The staff were so lovely and always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. They were very helpful in taking luggage to and from our room and the check in process was nice and easy. The breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam and the addition of the afternoon tea was great. We weren't planning on staying around the hotel in the afternoon but it was great during the rainy days to relax with a coffee and high tea style catering. We would recommend it to any friends or family we know coming to Vietnam.

Great location, close to shops, best market close by called the Youth Center market/Box Concept, very friendly staff, always played with the children. Great breakfast and afternoon tea. Swimming pool is small but big enough for a cool down dip. Rooms are spacious but a bit old and tired.

Right next to petrol station and construction site and big road, can be quite noisy. The suit room is great but the executive room was a bit disappointing, a bit old not sure it’s worth the money.

A very nice hotel within walking distance of most of the main attractions. The staff were super helpful and polite and even pointed me in the right direction for a fantastic Bánh Mì via Grab. The room was very clean and had all the required amenities but was a bit noisy. The room was on the 9th floor and you could hear the hum of the traffic (complete with the compulsory car horns) during the night. The bed was super comfy and the aircon very effective. The breakfast (06:30 - 10:30) was very good, with plenty of selection. Tip: Head down early as they do run out of various things towards the end. The roof top pool is lovely (more of a giant jacuzzi) with two areas to lie out and a bar with happy hour. They also serve a complimentary afternoon tea (14:30 - 16:30) on the roof, which is a nice touch. Over all a very nice place to stay in Saigon.

Traffic noise from the street could be heard in the room.

I LOVED the breakfast. Really found the bed quite comfortable. The location was quiet and mellow area of town. Close to the War Remnants Museum, which was a heavy but educational. I highly recommend. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. I’d def return to stay there again. The pool and steam room with rooftop lounge were fabulous!!

The bathtub wouldn’t “plug” so I just took showers. The AC unit stopped working the last day. I told them upon check out and they would’ve fixed it the day before had I told them, but I didn’t want anyone changing the filter at bedtime. But without the air on or a fan to move the air, you could really “smell” Ho Chi Minh. But it was all good overall.

We had a great time at the hotel. We especially appreciated the afternoon tea and snack buffet on the rooftop - it was a pleasant surprise how varied and generous the selection was. The breakfast was also good, but the breakfast area was quite small, making it very crowded, and the dishes were almost always empty... The rooftop pool was a nice spot to cool off and relax. The location of the hotel is fantastic: everything is within walking distance! Our flight home was very late in the evening, but we were still allowed to use the pool and shower facilities, and the reception kindly stored our luggage after our free late check-out at 1 pm.

We booked a room with a window, which wasn’t too noisy. However, I believe this largely depends on the side of the hotel and the floor your room is on. Our room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, and it was evident that we were given the "add-on" room rather than the master bedroom, as it was quite small. I would recommend introducing more differentiated pricing and room categories. Currently, the main distinguishing feature seems to be whether the rooms have windows or not, but they also appear to vary in size.
