We stayed here for one night before heading down to visit family south of HCMC, and it was exceptional from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The reception team all speak English very well and everything was clearly explained. We received a free upgrade from the original Executive suite we had booked to a Grand Suite too! It was so spacious and everything you needed was at your fingertips. It was so much space for just my husband and I but it felt nice to be so spoilt! The photos on the listing don’t quite do it justice, it’s very clean and tidy, and so comfortable to stay in. There’s a free shuttle bus that takes you to most of the popular central spots, but the hotel is located so centrally, it’s not a far or difficult walk to get anywhere in any direction. It was such a wonderful way to start off our stay in Vietnam and I can’t wait to come back!

We have absolutely nothing to complain about!

Easy walk to different tourist attractions and markets. It was by far the cleanest well equipt hotel we stayed in the whole trip, it had a full kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Every part of the hotel was extremely clean. Had a great pool, gym, play room for young kids and pool table. We had room service 2x and the prices were higher than Vietnamese prices but much cheaper than Ausi and the last resort we stayed at. All the staff were extremely friendly too. We really appreciate the upgrade, and congratulations cake such lovely touch. The photos don't do the room justice!

We wanted to find somewhere for a base to experience a long stay in Ho Chi Minh City - we couldn't have found anywhere better than the Sherwood Suites. The room we booked was very large - two bedrooms and two bathrooms and we were able to cook full meals in the well equipped kitchen. As we wanted, it felt like a home from home and the support given by the very friendly staff just made it perfect. The pool and gym were of a good standard and the in house restaurant served very good food. Location was great - we could easily stroll out to museums, restaurants and shops and we only caught one taxi for the whole time we were there. It was a really lovely three weeks and we felt like we belonged by the time we had to leave.

This is a very good hotel and if any small issues did emerge, they were dealt with instantly (to the point that one night our built in oven had a problem and it was replaced with a completely new one in less than 30 minutes!!)

This was our first time staying at the Sherwood Suites Hotel. My husband and I took our daughters on a 7-day trip to Ho Chi Minh City and stayed in Room 203. From the moment we reached out before our stay to the day we checked in, every staff member—from the front desk and restaurant staff to the doormen and security—was incredibly warm and welcoming. They made us feel right at home in HCM. Our executive suite was well-equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer, making it super convenient for us to take care of our little ones—just like at home. The pool isn’t huge, but it has everything you need—a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and even life jackets for kids to borrow. There’s also a kids’ corner right next to the pool, which was perfect for our little ones to play. Location-wise, it’s super convenient! There’s a convenience store right across the street and a supermarket just around the corner. Our kids wanted to go there every night! Oh, and the restaurant downstairs is delicious! We especially loved the pho and seafood chowder. Aside from a few small maintenance issues—like a crack on the bathroom mirror and a bathtub stopper that needed multiple presses to work—everything else was amazing. We truly miss our 7-day stay and can’t wait to come back!

The only minor downside was that some room facilities needed maintenance or updates. For example, the large bathroom mirror in Room 203 had cracks on the edges, and the bathtub stopper required several attempts to seal properly for a bath.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in HCM city so far. Excellent value for the money. All employees are all nice and polite, from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies and the staff of the pool. The studio is spacious, luxurious, clean, modern and convenient. Excellent location as well.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe the bed was a bit too hard for me, but that's a personal taste. Oh and it would be good to have a master interrupter at the bed so that I can turn off all the lights at once. The light system of the bedroom and the kitchen area are separated.

Location, size of space and amenities were all good. We did request a high floor 6 weeks in advance. Upon check in we were given a room on floor 2. After having a word with check in staff twice we were given floor 6. Not “high” but was much better. Super clean space and washer dryer worked well.

After a long trip and switching rooms the key card didn’t work. Back down to the front desk. Maybe lock battery was dead. We waited another 15 to 20 minutes for that to be fixed before we could check in. Perhaps putting the batteries on a replacement schedule would avoid this in the future.

Comfortable stay in a very nice location. Apartment and the amenities were modern and well maintained.

Only thing we were not aware of was that staff requested us to make a huge deposit at the time of checkin. Normally we would be ok with this temporary security hold, but the amount this time was too large for us and we didnt know about this prior. It would be good for the property to mention this clearly upfront at the time of the booking. Other than that, the property and staff were very nice and our stay was amazing.

Service was excellent. The suites where very well appointed, and also had everything we needed. Swimming pool, guy, recreation were amazing. The location is very good with services around and close to town. They offer a shuttle bus several times a day to take people to locations in the city centre, and can also pick up on return. They offer serviced apartments, but it is very much close to being a hotel, and yet providing all the self-serve facilities. We were able to walk into town in about 20 minutes - paths are very safe and walkable. The staff were very engaged and attentive to our needs. We arrived early, before check-in time, and were directed to the pool area where we could shower and swim and wait for our room to be ready. They also booked tickets for shows that we wanted to watch, at a discount. There are many coffee shops and restaurants in the area so it is easy to grab a good vegetarian meal, and/or coffee.

Can't think of anything that stands out. The restaurant is good and convenient when you need a meal. We ate only once during our stay, and that was good, with good service. They could do with some more vegetarian choice.

Breakfast was both buffet options and menu options - all included in the room rate. There was a lot of variety - kids loved the buttermilk pancakes & waffles. The rooms were very spacious - we were able to add a single bed to our room which had a king bed. The room was a residence, so it had a kitchen & laundry facilities. Separate washer & dryer which was fantastic. Bathroom was huge - very spacious. Kids absolutely loved the indoor pool and the entertainment room. Staff were lovely & professional - always willing to help. Shuttle service was very convenient.

We were upgraded from a family suite to the grand suite. The suite was exceptional, modern and very spacious. The layout of the suite was very well thought out. The room had a washing machine and a dryer, which was really handy! The staff here are very welcoming and spoke English well. Hieu was very friendly and was always happy to help us with our queries. The buffet breakfast is also great. Apart from the side bar, you can also order unlimited dishes from their breakfast menu.

Location is not central, but most places are only a short 10mins ride away.
