The rooms were large and very clean. Our beds very comfortable. Housekeeping amazing and thorough. The location perfect. ATMS close by and a Family-Mart and Co-- Mart minutes walk for grocery. Abundance of street food and restaurants not far awayl. The location we considered more on the "quieter" side which was perfect for us. Pool and gym facilities were great! The decor, the pictures around hotel, the flowers in the lobby, the fragrance used in hotel, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelt great! The staff very friendly from the door staff to the reception area, their service impeccable. Oh and they provide free shuttle to markets! One of nicest hotels we have stayed in for the price and for family of 5. We will return!!

I booked Sherwood Residence as a 'day' hotel before we flew back from Ho Chi Minh to Australia. 3 adults, 2 children, 10 years. The room was HUGE, pretty much the size of a 3 bedroom house, self contained with a washing machine and kitchen, full sized fridge. The space was exceptionally clean and well-presented. The children were grateful for the room and so were the adults. The pool was HUGE, can get busy, restaurant was inviting, spacious and western/Vietnamese menu. Staff were attentive and friendly. Only here for a few hours but I would recommend this accom to family wanting to escape the hustle and bustle, a one stop shop for hotel facilities/amenities and space to move.

We had a spacious three bed apartment. Had a utility room with washing machine and a dryer, which came in handy. Comfy beds, plenty of storage and separate living room. Loved the pool, gym is on the smaller side but still lovely. They also had a kids play area, with pool table, foosball and table tennis, also had a cinema room which my boys loved. The restaurant manager is lovely and one of the hardest working people I've seen. Definitely commendable the way he was managing it.

The restaurant is way too small for the hotel. Needs to be bigger and breakfast options were ok. Some people had to wait for a table on one of the day as they prioritised the area for a company event. It's already a small dining area and to make paying guests wait like wasn't acceptable. Even thought the manager was apologetic, I imagine this was out of his control. The view from our room weren't great either, we were facing a construction site. I also didn't like that the bedding weren't white but had become off white like a cream colour. If I am being charged for a 5* hotel prices I expect the service to be of that standard,

If you're looking for a convenient place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City for your vacation, I highly recommend Sherwood Residence. Everything is here - great location, delicious food, very accommodating staff, facilities, One thing I liked is the daily free shuttle service, which runs hourly from morning to afternoon, allowing you to ride and drop off at popular tourist spots. Outside the hotel, there are eateries all around, including Family Mart 24 hours and Coop Mart. Jollibee and KFC are just 2 blocks away."

I didn't find any mistakes, everything is perfect! Kudos to Mr. Vu, the chief supervisor, and Miss Tams restaurant crew for their excellent service. They really took good care of us.

Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Great location. Good breakfasts. Beautiful coffee. Nice pool area.

We had to change rooms due to noise from a late night bar across the road. The music thumped through our room. But move was organised efficiently. We were there during the reunification celebrations. Which were interesting but created havoc with our entries and exits from the hotel. If we had known they were on and the impact the rehearsals would have on our group we would have stayed elsewhere. The stress caused and the unexpected alterations to our travel plans were awful. The army helped get us out eventually but it was a stressful situation.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath suite and it was perfect for our family of 5. The rooms are big and we were very comfortable. The customer service from the front doorman, reception, housekeeping, and maintenance was excellent. They were quick to respond when we had questions about ordering food service and issues regarding the AC. When we couldn't get a Grab they helped us call 2 cabs for our family. The free limo van/shuttle to locations within District 1 was great especially in the heat. We especially appreciated that they do not allow the durian fruits inside the halls and rooms :).

The size of the space. Very comfortable beds, our boys had their own bathroom, and the place was very clean. Staff were very courteous and communicative via email and Whatsapp. Loved the entertainment suite (games room, table tennis, table fussball and movie room) and breakfast options were great too. Good gym. Options to cook your own meals in the mini kitchen, and a utility room with a washing machine, which were an unexpected bonus. You can buy washing powder from the hotel. Walking distance to the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral and lots of restaurants. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to major local places of interest, which is handy. Would stay again when in Ho Chi Minh.

Modern, clean and comfortable apartment with kitchen and self laundry facilities in apartment. Plentiful and delicious food for breakfast. Good restaurant onsite for lunch and dinner. Great swimming and gym facility onsite. Close to large grocery store. Walking distances to all famous and popular landmarks. Located in the heart of town. Can go on own tour. Does not need transportation to visit War Remnant Museum, Independence Palace, Pink Cathedral, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon post office , Opera House and even up the Texco Financial Tower. Perfect place to stay while visiting HonChi Minh City.

Fabulous hotel, and the best stay we have had in Vietnam out of 7 hotels.We had a HUGE appartment for a family of 4 ( we were upgraded) with 3 rooms, 2 complete bathrooms, living room, fully equiped kitchen and washroom- were we could do our own laundry. The facilities were great, a big pool, sauna and pool table, ping pong and football table. The kids loved it! It was good value for money and in a good location, near many sights, and there is a daily free shuttle bus ( with wifi) on the hour to take you to different locations. They also took care of our suitcases after we checked out, and as we had to wait the whole day before taking our flight, they also let us use the pool and facilities after checkout. The staff were also very friendly.

My only comment is that I bough a birthday cake as it was my partners birthday, then realised I didn't have anything to light the birthday candle. I asked in reception and they said they didnt have matches or a lighter I could borrow, which I though was strange. Also, in the breakfast buffet I missed some more variety of fresh fruit ( e.g mango, pineapple ect)

We enjoyed our stay the 3 bedroom apartment was very well fitted out and comfortable. I appreciated having a washing machine and dryer this was very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the staff in the dining area were always super helpful. The area is very central and not far to walk to all the points of interest.

Front desk staff weren't overly friendly like other hotels we had stayed at. When checking in you didn't feel overly welcome it was very business like. When leaving and returning you weren't acknowledged but I guess that's not a big thing but I did notice this.
