I stayed at this hotel with my 4-year-old son, and we both had tears in our eyes when our stay came to an end. The hotel became like a home to us for nearly one week. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, assured that we didn't have to deal with any red tape, but just enjoy our stay. They organized all tours for us, got us great discounts, exchanged dollars, rented a bike with a baby seat for free, and did our laundry at no extra cost... we had a wonderful stay at the Green Tea! Also, one day my cellphone stopped working and the staff helped me buy a new one, organized a discount, a home delivery, and the provider set the cellphone up for me to assure that i would not have to struggle with the setup. I think a 5 star rating is short for this hotel!

Excellent out of the noise amd business of the Old Town, yet close enough to take a brisk 15 min walk into the markets of the Old Town .. and a 3 min walk to the restaurants along the riverside. You can continue this walk into the Old Town too..bars and cafes all the way along the pathway. Great breakfast. Beautiful clean pool. Big airy room. Free bicycles are appreciated as its an excellent place for bicycling. Cleaning staff do a good job - comfortable bed and crisp white linen. The two ladies who are your hostesses, Bich and Linda, are exceptionally kind and thoughtful, making it their mission to make sure you are happy. They will book tours for you and organise laundry, and help wherever possible. We had 10 blissful days there and enjoyed them all. They only have 11 villas on the property, so you get very pesonalised attention. Sensational stay and we look forward to another visit in the future.

We had the most fabulous stay at Green Tea Villa. We absolutely loved it ! Beautiful room, large balcony, bathroom and stunning pool. The gorgeous trees and plants are all lovingly looked after and the whole place is like an oasis. We absolutely loved Linda she was always so friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. Thank you so much Linda ! The breakfast was exceptional ! The best breakfast on our travels. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and spas to walk to and just a very short walk to the Old Town. They provide free bikes which were really great to get around to explore and also get to the beach. Sen Lê was really lovely and gave us so much information when we arrived which was so helpful thank you Sen ! We cannot wait to come back best wishes Sarah and Martin

Incredible value for money! Bic was a fantastic host who booked excursions for us, sorted out our laundry and was there pretty much whenever we needed anything. If she wasn't there, there was always a member of staff on hand to help. They have bikes available to guests which were great for getting to the beaches and around the area. Not so much fun in the busy part of the old town centre - especially at night with no lights! This was a homestay, so we weren't expecting too much from it, but the room was very large and the bathroom/shower area perfect for us, although towel rails would have been useful. The breakfasts were fairly basic but everything was prepared to order and very nicely cooked and presented. It had a really nice pool although the bolts on the access steps needed tightened - they were a bit wobbly. Great location. out of town but only about 20mins walk to the centre and some decent riverside restaurants minutes away, which would stay open as long as you were there spending money. Their food was generally good, though not exceptional. If you want a fantastic restaurant, go to Morning Glory - we ended up going twice (which I don't normally do because I like to try different places).

Just one or two minor maintenance points - such as the steps to the pool being tightened. Towel rails and also more drawers or shelves to put clothes on, it was a bit lacking in decent storage. Also being locked out when we came home late one night!! Sssssh! We didn't say anything to Bic. But we met some people by the riverside and ended up having a couple of beers, so we were later than usual. We arrived back to find the gates all locked up! We couldn't see and easy way in and didn't want to bother anyone. Luckily we're both quite slim and managed to slip through the gap between the gatepost and the wall. But we hadn't been told of any procedure if we were coming back late. So if you stay, and I'd recommend it, make sure you check your options for returning late.

Excellent room in terms of size and comfort. Was surprised by this. Bathtub and balcony very welcomed. Balcony got very strong sun which was excellent for drying swim shorts etc. Breakfast was quite varied and nice, staff were very accommodating. The free bikes were great and the pool was lovely. The staff were very accommodating throughout.

The room we stayed in was lovely. There is one crack in roof that seemed to let in some ants. Would recommend a little bit of filler here The initial welcome to hotel was nice, really appreciated that they let us check in early and provided a welcome drink. It seemed however that the focus was more geared towards trying to recommend tours and tailors (probably for commission) rather than tell us about the homestay and the facility itself. Also they charge a 2% fee for paying by card which is not flagged beforehand.

If I could give more stars I would. This was one of the best stays in a hotel my partner and I have ever had. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by such friendly staff who took our bags from us and sat down to check us in and talk us through what the town has to offer. Our room was superb and breakfast was unlimited every morning. The hotel is fully equipped with a beautiful pool, and bikes to take for the day. They were so helpful in booking tours, recommending tailors to go to and taxi services. We had the pleasure of sitting with the staff from time to time during our stay. Value for money here is exceptional for the service we received. We will certainly be staying here when we return to Hoi An. Could not recommend this place more!

Exceptional place. Wonderful welcome and attentive care from the manager Linda, who was so lovely and helpful and really could not have done more for us. The rooms are spacious, clean and great (just ten units), private with outdoor space and a modest pool for a refreshing dip. Also good breakfasts. Location is perfect if you are reasonably mobile, just ten minutes’ walk to the central market bridge along the interesting riverside. Numerous good places to eat along the riverbank. We loved it because it’s away from the high tourist-concentration of the historic Hoi An centre, yet that’s easily accessible from this retreat, which is well run by hardworking, friendly people.

It’s hard to put into words how good this place is! Everything was perfect from start to finish. A HUGE appreciation to all the staff from the owners who made us feel like family and Linda and Bic who are both so kind and do everything to make your stay great. We were greeted by Linda and she gave us a welcome drink, all the information we needed about Hoi An and as our flight arrived very early she even got our room cleaned quickly so we could check in (very) early. The rooms are huge. Bed and pillows are so comfortable and it’s so quiet - we had some of the best nights sleep we’ve ever had here. Rooms are also cleaned every day. The hotel building is stunning and looks exactly like the photos, gardens and the pool area is kept immaculate. The pool area is so nice, comfy sun loungers, free pool towels and one day Bic saw us sat there and brought us a free drink! Breakfast is great too. Lots of options and you can have as much as you want + they always give fresh fruit. There is a set menu but you can pick items off the menu and put them together to make your own breakfast so there is something for everyone. I can’t recommend this place enough especially for the price and if we ever come back to Hoi An we will be staying here. Thank you Green Tea Homestay team!

Staff, especially Bich, were excellent and always keen to do anything to improve our stay. They provided great visitor information. There was a pool, but we were there at the wrong time to use it (not quite warm enough in January). Rooms were always clean with lots of space. and bed comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not buffet which is better to avoid food wastage, but there could perhaps have been few more options. They also had bikes, free to use, which were perfect for getting into and around town to avoid too much walking. A few more would have been good as once there weren't enough left.

Bathroom could have had a shower enclosure to stop water going everywhere (a slight problem as the toilet was right next to the shower). Water pressure pretty low as well.

We had been looking forward to our stay here for quite some time and it exceeded expectations. We loved everything about this beautiful Homestay. The staff were amazing and work so hard. A big shout out to Linda and Bic and a massive thank you. Perfect location for us, away from the hustle and bustle of the old town but only a 10-15 minute walk. We were given lots of recommendations including Hoi An memory show which was amazing. The breakfast was also great with so much choice. Would highly recommend Green Tea and will definitely be back!!
