We travelled to Hoi an and chose Hang Dai based on positive reviews and location. We had a lovely time with delicious hot breakfast, either eggs and fresh baguette or vegetarian noodles. We learned to make lanterns from our host Trinh one day and another day went on a lantern boat ride with her husband. Both very meaningful experiences for us. Trinh was very helpful with booking bus tickets and whatever else we needed during our stay, and was very easy to reach on what’s app. Her family and home are delightful and you would be lucky to stay with them. The room was big with hot showers. Very cute dog too!

This homestay was run by the kindest family, though there was a bit of a language barrier it was nothing a translator app couldn’t fix. Breakfast every morning was very nice. We arrived quite early in the morning but were instantly accommodated. Room was a good size, beds were comfy, bathroom was clean. Good location, walking distance into town. One morning I had spilt coffee on my white skirt and the lovely lady took it, washed it and returned it back to me perfectly clean a few days later. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality :)

The family here were super lovely and welcoming. The location was great because it was close to everything we wanted to get to but off centre enough to be nice and quiet. Being right by the river was really nice too with a breeze and great choices of restaurants right next door! (Would definitely recommend phan gia) The property was clean, the breakfast was good and you could rent bikes for a small fee

A working tv and a mini-fridge were missing despite being on our booking but this didn’t really matter as the family were kind enough to make us tea or coffee if we wanted :) they also let us keep our drinks cold in a shared downstairs fridge instead however one of our bottles of drink did go missing

The owner of the homestay is very kind and she has helped us with everything: tour, bicycles and bus tickets. Also when another guess was using our bathroon and smoking there, they have maneged very well. And when we ask them some solution for the mosquitos in the room, they gave us inciense. She and her Mother are very helpful and we recomend to stay with them. The beakfast is also good. The place is 15 min walking to the old town and you have the riverside close.

Really accommodating and helpful lady who runs this place! We were able to extend our stay, book coconut boats and onward travel through this homestay, it was easy to do. Location is great, about 10/15 minute walk from the centre of the old town, right on the river front with many places to eat nearby. I liked the location is good but not too busy and there are nice views out the back.

The family are so generous and kind. They invited me to dinner many times, the food is delicious 😋. I felt so welcome and taken care of. I stayed for a month, they even changed breakfast each day so I didnt get bored! The location is great on the river, and room great value for money. I will be back! Thank you so much

Such a great homestay! We stayed 6 nights and honestly it's hard to leave. Such a sweet caring family, the price is amazing, you get a free breakfast everyday! the location is great and right on the river. The rooms are clean, spacious and have very comfortable beds and a beautiful balcony! We got clean towels every day without asking. We even got snacks for the way from the owner! We rented bicycles every day for a very good price.

Everything was absolutely perfect. we were able to change our original date as our plans have changed. we were able to check it early at no additional cost which we really appreciated after an 19h train. The room is spacious and the bathroom clean. We really liked the balcony we had. The location is perfect you can walk everywhere within 5-20 mins depending on where you’d like to go. We were able to rent bicycles to go to our coconut tour for cheap. Same with laundry it was cheap and quick. The host was very helpful and welcoming. She helped us to book a private car to Da Nang for a fair price and My Son Tour for a good price too. we’re sad we missed out on a private coconut tour with her mum so you should definitely ask about that when you check in! I cannot recommend this place enough. even the breakfast was tasty and different everyday :) We’re very happy we got to stay at this Homestay

Absolutely nothing

Really nice room with a small balcony and a big bed. The showers were nice too ! The staff is really friendly and you can fill your water there so that’s a win

Trinh! She is the only one who speaks english, very nice, kind and helpful. Other family members can’t not speak english but it was not a problem at all, they are also very helpful. Having the riverfront view every morning was amazing.

Guests room are facing the street and you can hear everything from the street. I really don’t mind but if you need a quiet place for sleeping, it might be problem.
