The friendliness of the staff. Staying at La Siesta is like being part of a big family. You are made to feel so welcome from beginning to end. We would like to mention in particular Hanh in the Temple restaurant who served us so well; Phuong in the Temple restaurant who was wonderful company; Nguyen in the Red Bean restaurant who looked after us so charmingly. Also Vu at the Infinity bar who was really friendly and encouraged me to speak Vietnamese. Thanks to everyone at La Siesta for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent Resort, very good rooms, beautiful gardens and several Pools. Staff excellent. The breakfast is a highlight. 15min walk to the towncenter. Absolute recommandation

This time returning to La Siesta Hoi An Resort was just as magical as always. All the staff remembered my name and again provided the consistently exceptional service. The resort's beautiful surroundings and incredible rooms made me feel instantly relaxed and it honestly just felt like coming back to my own home (only wish my home were half this nice). The spa experience was once again a highlight, super skillful therapists and a chill atmosphere in the garden where the massage rooms are situated. Breakfast spreads were absolutely to die for, so delicious! complimentary bicycle rent was an amazing touch, it really made exploring Hoi An sort of stress free. I have said this many times before and I am going to say it again. I highly recommend La Siesta Hoi An Resort and Spa if you are seeking a truly unforgettable stay in Vietnam.

Building and rooms were exceptional.

The only problem we had was over surveying. Whilst we were there (2 nigjts) we were asked to fill out 6 written surveys about our experience and were asked regularly if we had feedback for them about various aspects of the service. It became invasive by the end.

The property is beautiful with lush landscaping and 4 different pools (saltwater, infinity, kid pool). The staff were warm and thoughtful. The kids club had toys to occupy the kids. The daily activities were interesting. The breakfast buffet was delicious with great variety. The room was charming and spacious.

Nothing, everything was just great

This is a fantastic hotel situated in beautiful gardens and within walking distance of the Old Town. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. The breakfast is superb and caters for almost all tastes. The two restaurants on site too are wonderful and really good value.

There were two disappointing issues. Firstly the “double bed” was in fact two beds put together with a not too well padded mattress acting as a double mattress. This was not as comfortable as it should have been. Secondly, in the final evening of our stay the air conditioning was not working properly. Fortunately the weather had turned cooler but again there seemed to be a lack of attention to the facilities.

Super clean and elegant hotel. The politest and most accomodating staff. Everywhere immaculate and well maintained. Gardens lovely. Poolside calm and peaceful. Only some music is played at a very very low volume near 1 of the pools. Breakfast selection is wide and done well (usual suspects plus local foods). Bed and linens excellent. Free water bottles in rooms every day. Hotel is a 10-15minute away from old town (which keeps it quiet. The town does get loud at night, especially on the south side where the bars are) and I walked this every day/night with ease, preferring it to the shuttle (use your legs people and see more!). Would/will 100% come back.

Down sides were niggles and I offer these constructively.... Though there are lots of loungers, there are no enough for all guests! In fairness there are not many other places they could fit them in, but there are different areas across the property which are good for alternate times of day. Still, it keeps it peaceful. It wasnt a major issue at all. If you are in block A, where basic rooms are (deluxe double), some face the front road. There is some traffic noise and plenty of beeping scooters! Whilst this drops off hugley after 11pm it could be an issue for some. I thought it might be for me, but after 1 night I was ok. I was on the 5th floor so perhaps being further away helped. Just consider that when booking this room type. Other wings are deeper into the property.
