I'm so glad I found this homestay. The owners are so lovely and attended to our every need. They arranged an early check in for my friend that wasn't feeling well, they arranged a transfer to the airport and a sleeper bus for my friend. The breakfast was good and the room very comfortable. AC was working great, everything was clean. It is a 10-15 min walk to old town. A gym is also a 15 min walk away. And the dog is the sweetest and fluffiest soul on this planet. Would 100% stay here again! Thank you for everything! :)

My husband and I have been traveling around Vietnam for the past 2 months and this homestay was by far our favorite. The hosts, Duong and Van, are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very clean, they cooked us an amazing breakfast everyday and even brought us a tea kettle when we asked for one. The location is 10 minute walk to Old Town, which was perfect to stay away from crowds and noise. We ended up getting sick and needing to extend 5 extra days so we could rest and heal. They took such good care of us during this time and always made sure we had everything we needed. They even made us tea late one night when we were still sick. Lovely welcome with homemade lemonade The hosts are amazing, help with everything from recommendations for custom clothes, tours, onward travel, laundry etc. but they go the extra mile. I was brought to my bus so I didn’t have to walk with my bags and it was a walkable distance. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in two months Lovely made to order breakfast and lots of items to choose from It’s quiet but close to everything They cleaned my room after 2 nights…fresh towels etc The free bikes are great to use for going to the beach The puppy!

Hosts: lovely and kind, very helpful with every question I had, organised transportation to Da Nang airport for me and it was no issue to prolong my stay at the homestay for a couple nights Location: about 10min walk from the old town, perfect distance for quiet nights and still being close to all the tourist attractions. Room & en suite bathroom: very clean and spacious, bed is comfy

Blue Clouds Homestay was an absolute delight! The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations. The location is peaceful yet close to everything. Breakfast was good enough, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hoi An on a budget.

This is a lovely place to stay. After a great value and smooth airport transfer we were greeted with a homemade lemonade and got to play with the two-month-old puppy 🥰. Duong talked us through the places to get the best local food (and where to avoid!) and then left us to our room, which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Duong also organised a tour for us as well as bus tickets to Huê, all for a lot less money than we were looking at online - it was great to be able to whatsapp him while we were out if we had any questions. He even went out to get us bahn mi for our onward journey (which were so delicious). All in all a lovely welcoming experience where we were made to feel so at home.

Had such a good time in blue clouds homestay! Duong goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable! It was my friend maisie’s birthday and he got her some flowers and some fruit which was so kind :) great location only about 15 minute walk to the old town - such great value for money

This property is amazing. The lovely owner and his wife are so kind and speak really good English, as soon as we got there we got information about hoi an, where to eat and told about local scams. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk from walking street with the lantern boats. Rooms were clean and comfortable and I slept well every night. Thank you.

Duong and his wife Van were two of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. Their homestay is very quiet, super clean and the bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in. Duong speaks great English, the breakfasts are fabulous, their dog is adorable, and honestly this one of the best places I've stayed during my whole trip. I never normally write reviews because god knows life is short & hard enough, but I really wanted to make people aware of this place, so: if you want somewhere uber safe, calm & comfortable to stay in Hoi An, staffed by really lovely, gentle people for whom nothing is too much trouble, and you like sleeping in comfortable beds, then you should book a room here immediately.

We stayed at Blue Clouds (May Xanh) homestay for 3 nights. Duong is a very friendly person, who speaks English on a pretty good level - contact was really easy and clear. He gave some good recommendations for breakfast and lunch in the village. The location is good, with just a five minute walk to the (very) touristic center. We used the bicycles for a round trip, to the beach and through rice fields.

Breakfast has a lot of options, but some meals need to be ordered in advance (15 to 30 minutes). We didn't mind too much, but it's good to know.
