Everything was perfect, the hotel is near the ancient town, the swimming pool is very nice, there is a large choice in the menu for the breakfast, the bedroom was very confortable, but what I liked the most was the kindness of Tram, who gives lots of precious advices for what to do in the city, where to eat, where to go if you want clothes from a tailor... And she helped us with everything we asked her. We wanted to go to Cham Island, and changed our mind a bit late because we loved the island and wanted to stay longer there, and she found us a boat and a driver to take us back to the May Boutique Villa, where we stored our bags for 2 days. She also wanted to help us to go to Danang, with a very good price, and told us if we found cheaper we should go with the cheaper option, so not pushy at all, and very happy to help with everything. She truly is a golden gem and we're lucky we met this human sunshine. I recommend to choose this place to stay in Hoi An 100% !

The property is located in a quiet area near the river and is within easy walking distance to many shops including restaurants. The ancient city is also an easy walk. The room is very modern and very comfortable. The aircon worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. The room was spotlessly clean. Vy (the receptionist) was very friendly and welcoming. Her English is very good and she went out of her way to make sure that my stay was comfortable. All the staff (including the housekeeping and cooking) were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and the menu had a large selection to choose from. I would highly recommend this property.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

We had a perfect stay in this hotel, we were in the superior room with balcony and we also had a delicious breakfast. The hotel has even a pool, which was a great escape from the summer heat. The receptionists were really helpful and alway offered us the most convenient options for our plans. We rented out scooter and booked the coconut boat tour with them. Everything went out smooth and fast. We didn't spend much time in the room, but it was very beautiful, comfortable and well equipped (even with bathrobes and flipflops for the pool and minibar!)

We stayed at Abo May Boutique Villa for 2 nights and firstly, I want to thank the very honest, kind, and friendly owner. When I made the booking, he mentioned the airport transfer and gave us a great price — even cheaper than Grab! We arrived late at night when all the restaurants were closed, but thankfully our room was stocked with drinks, noodles, snacks, and biscuits, so we didn’t go hungry. The next day, the owner helped us book a Ba Na Hills tour at a very good price. It was an amazing experience with a great guide — special thanks for recommending the WOW Pass, which saved us from waiting in long queues for the cable car! He also arranged a coconut basket tour for us at a reasonable price. Overall, they have clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price. The swimming pool is lovely too. The only thing I would suggest is to improve the breakfast a little bit. Highly recommend this amazing hotel — thank you so much for making our vacation so comfortable!”**

We had a beautiful room with a balcony, very spacious and clean, and the bathroom was really nice with a great shower. The breakfast was good (small portions though), and the pool was nice to cool off in. The walk along the river to the old town was slightly long in the heat of the day but still enjoyable

We were not offered free rental bicycles as we’d seen other reviews mention, and there was some confusion when we checked out about the owner wanting us to buy something extra or charge us for something we hadn’t used, we weren’t quite sure but it was a bit strange.

Our 4 days here was absolutely brilliant, would have definitely extended if we didn’t have future travels booked! Our bus arriving was hours late but they were still more than happy to check us in at nearly 2am. Dung Le and Ms Tram where both so helpful with everything, making sure to point us in the right direction to not be scammed at popular attractions/ tailoring,m. The rooms where lovely and big and the breakfast options where just as good. Definitely recommend, such a good location and the price is crazy!

We were recommended the May Boutique villa by other travellers earlier in our Vietnam trip. Our expectations were exceeded once we arrived to the hotel. All staff were excellent and Muoi helped us book our transport to our next location, and a cooking class while in Hoi An. Breakfast was good, and was a buffet style spread. The location is perfect. Close to Old town but away from the noise. Very peaceful. The room and bathroom were very spacious, and had aircon which was needed The pool was amazing. In the sunshine but also partially shaded. Can recommend this place enough if you are looking for a quiet chilled place

Noise did travel in the hallway and you could hear other people if they were being loud in the hallway. No noise from traffic at night though

I have been over 100 countries in my life and I would rate this hotel for the value. One of the very best I have ever stayed in.. The shower was excellent. The mattresses were excellent. I had a nice terrace. The room was super clean. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was great for the value of paying would definitely stay there again. It’s a little bit out of town, but that’s nice because the music in town is quite loud it’s only about a 10 minute walk from the city center, but it’s a pleasure walk at all super friendly and helpful. I ordered a taxi from the hotel to the airport and it was cheaper than I ordered from Grab. It was a great value for the money I spent did I mention the staff was very friendly and helpful and showed us where to go , we rented a motorcycle through hotel and it was reasonably priced very friendly. Overall, I would rate this excellent maybe even beyond excellent

The pillows were very clean and new, but they could use an extra pillow so when you’re watching TV from bed can set up easier. Other than that, there’s really zero to complain about.

My experience at the May Boutique Hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Tram - the owner - made me feel warmly welcomed, as did her attentive and friendly team. The hotel is ideally located, offering both convenience and tranquility. I especially appreciated the relaxing pool, the daily breakfast and the convenience of booking local tours directly through Tram. It was a perfect stay and I will definitely return on my next visit!

I can highly recommend this hotel. Great location by the river, 5 minutes walk to the old town. I was extremely lucky that when I arrived at 7am I was able to check in. The host was extremely friendly and I couldn't have wished for a better greeting after an 11 hour overnight bus ride. Room is very comfortable, power shower is amazing. All clean and new, big, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. And great value! Thank you! I'll be back 😊
