Medellilín - and especially El Poblado - can be quite overwhelming. The constant traffic, the music blaring from every bar, the capoeira street dancers, the young sex workers plying their trade at Parque Lleras. Hotel Dix offers a calm refuge from all this. Especially as you can book a free, two-hour slot at the gym and jacuzzi on the 7th floor. We went from 4 to 6 pm and watched the sun drop behind the Cordillera Occidental, while soaking in the bubbles. The hotel staff are welcoming, helpful, and speak some English. It's an easy Uber ride to the downtown sites and a classic little jazz club; El Club del Jazz.

Very sympathetic and professional staff at the reception, especially Valentina. Really good helpful job! Also the senoras from the cleaning stuff very heartful so that you feel comfortable at the hotel. They always cleaned up the rooms very well. It was always everything at its place and very clean.

Very nice place to stay. Check in is easy in Spanish and English. Helpful and attentive staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. Located right in the middle of the Poblado neighborhood, very walkable. I would definitely stay there again. The Jacuzzi rooms are awesome.

Fitness room was very basic, not much for free weights, but still doable for a few days; short stay.

Great property in the center of all the fun. Everything is in walking distance and easy to locate. As a solo traveler I felt safe but most importantly welcomed by the staff. They took great care of me and assisted whenever I needed help.

No complaints from me.

Staff very accommodating, rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable. Can’t beat the location. A 10 out of 10.

This was my second time coming to Medellin and this hotel has an amazing location in the heart of El Poblado and a two minute walk to Parque Lleras. The breakfast was really good and the staff were super friendly! The views from the rooftop, especially at night, were unreal!

The bed was a little firm for my preference, but that’s minor.

Large comfortable room. Staff very quick to bring iron and ironing board to room when asked. Organised transport from. airport. All desk staff I spoke to spoke English.

Front rooms are very noisy with doof doof music to 1am. No tea or coffee making facility in room.

The hotel is in a nice location central to things in El Poblado. The room was clean. The view from the terrace is amazing. The overhead shower was a little ackward but there was plenty of hot water.

Because it is centrally located there is alot of street noise at night which makes it hard to sleep. The breakfast was.. okay, the eggs lacked a bit of flavor.

Very good location, close to Parque Lleras. Room was good, spacious and perfectly clean. The housekeeping staff, the bellboy and the lady who served breakfast were super-friendly and helpfull. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again.

The lady who did the check-in was quite unfriendly, which did not make a good first impression. Didn't feel very welcome at first, which spoiled the stay a bit. Also complimentary water in the room and/or a water heater and complimentary coffee/tea in the room would be nice, as its standard in most 4-star-hotels all over the world.

Brilliant location super close to lleras park/provenza nightlife, bars, restaurants and walking distance down the hill to Poblado metro. Rooftop views are incredible. Breakfast was tasty. Reception staff were lovely.

Rooms a little basic but fine for the price point.
