I was impressed by the renovations. Don't be deceived by the rough exterior--this is a great value for the airport location. Everything exceeded my moderate expectations. SPACE -- The rooms and hallways are larger and wider than what is typical for standard chain hotels and felt spacious in comparison. Unusual for an older hotel, the building, hallways, and rooms don't smell. NICE FEATURES -- The bathroom was entirely new and had a "rain" showerhead. The mattress and pillows were new and comfortable. The room included a fridge and ironing board. Free WiFi. A light breakfast is included in the lobby. SHUTTLE -- The airport shuttle was on time and efficient. (We used it when going from the hotel to the airport.) FOOD -- Guests may be interested to know that there are two restaurant options within walkable distance. There's a moderately upscale bar-and-grill American-style restaurant that is part of the hotel across the street, and there's an Asian restaurant. We had an excellent experience at the bar-and-grill restaurant across the street.

The room and bathroom had all the necessary amenities as well as clean and well maintained. The two queen beds were firm and comfortable with plenty of pillows to accommodate any demands. The location was central and conveniently close to the airport and the downtown core. We did not notice or were inconvenienced by any noise disturbance of the planes. The customer service, both on the phone and upon our arrival, made us feel welcomed. The front desk staff was efficient, courteous and informative. We will definitely come back and will recommend it to our family and friends.

I can't think of any dislike right now. When staying in a hotel in a city that one has never been before. One tends to be more attentive to details and perhaps a little more critical. Our stay was short but our first impression was positive. It's a good start and that can lead to more repeated visits.

The reception area was very clean. It was very quiet. The front desk staff (it was a lady) was very patient with me because I didn’t know that they don’t accept cash. She was very patient in letting me do my etransfer from my husband for me to pay the overnight stay with my son. She even assisted me in doing my curtains and gave me extra blanket. Plus, a few walks is a Chinese restaurant which served us excellent quality dishes. Our room and bathroom were very clean. This is already my 2nd time to book in Quality Hotel. I always book here whenever I come back from my vacation in the Philippines. They also have airport shuttle service.

None at all. Just the other front desk staff (East Indian) that was not welcoming or accommodating at all upon checking out. His service was somewhat he didn’t want to be there. But otherwise, everything’s perfect.

I found everything to my liking, and I was comfortable. I utilized the shuttle service which was on time, comfortable to ride in, and the drivers to be friendly and courteous. The front desk staff both at check-in and check-out were very kind and courteous. They were friendly, courteous and professional.

I felt the price I paid for the minimalist tiny cramped room that didn't even have a mini fridge to put my insulin products in, was a bit excessive. The wifi didn't have a usable signal even though a router appeared to be right beside the bed. Although the shuttle drivers were great, I was a little concerned about what appeared to be ongoing phone conversations through Bluetooth earbuds.

The free breakfast is nice. They have a cool crêpe machine.They should offer gluten free options. The staff is very kind. Great to have a free shuttle to the airport. The bed is fabulous with high quality mattress and pillows.

Rooms closer to mine were in renovation. On the night of Dec. 23rd, at around 9:00 p.m., the 2nd floor smelled of cigarrette. On Dec. 25th at about 6:00 p.m. the elevator smelled of marihuana. Hand towels should be of a higher quality.

The location is great, right in the heart of Richmond. We arrived very late around 11:30pm and hadn’t eaten much all day. When we arrived we didn’t expect much but the person at the front desk told us that the Chinese restaurant around the corner was opened until 1am. We had a very nice meal which was exactly what we needed after a long flight. Having that option was very uplifting and I know most restaurants don’t stay open that long. The bed was very nice and comfortable. A comfortable bed and a meal when you’re hungry, we were happy.

The bathroom needs a little facelift and since the lobby was under construction it wasn’t pretty but it was acceptable.

Extremely reasonable and friendly staff very positive communication and respectful feedback and patience in response to figuring out the bill because there was some confusion about a credit card but it was handled very professionally and very reasonably and I'm very happy with my decision and experience to stay with the Health Quality Inn at Richmond BC and I will continue to utilize that hotel moving forward with any future endeavors the bed and breakfast was very clean and quiet The only complaint of it have would be that the breakfast was situated in a midsize conference room so it was Somewhat philosophical backend a little uncomfortable as far as the situated guests go put the staff handled it very professionally and in a friendly manner and everybody I would say enjoyed their entire experience that I could see I'll definitely be going back thank you

The only thing that sucks is it I can't live there At some point you got to go home sometimes and that's all right but This hotel definitely reminded me of My past when I was younger and how much I used to love staying in Hotels and motels and Airbnbs consistently!!!!!!
