Breakfast was ok.but really nothing to write home about. Sausage, eggs, gravy and biscuits were always luke warm.

Price was reasonable but they hold an additional $100 that is not stated at booking. I checked out Sunday and this additional charge is still pending. Holiday Inn does this same crap. They are drawing interest on our money for free. An "air freshner" was placed in room by staff before our arrival that caused us allergic reactions it was so strong. We finally found it behind the refrigerator cabinet and threw it outside. Exiting the Hotel to turn back towards Asheville is a dangerous proposition. Limited sight distances and have to cross multiple lanes of a busy road to get on I-240. Last but not least, a pet peeve of mine is hotels that have shower and commode separated from the bathroom sink. I will not stay here again

I’ve been staying at this particular best Western property for about 15 years and I must say it is one of the best hotels in the best Western system. It’s very well kept up very safe very clean and very comfortable. This is the first time I ever booked it through booking.com but I can highly recommend this property. it’s nice that it’s an older property and you can pull right up to your door so it’s perfect when traveling with dogs because you can get them in and out easily.

The room was very tasteful in its design and had everything needed, even a safe. Some candy and water was a nice touch to welcome me. The beds were very comfy, the room and property very clean. Breakfast had every option possible. Definitely would stay again. I was also able to go on the computer in their business center and print something out.

Breakfast was superb with biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurt machine with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, fruit, milk, and they offer coffee 24/7. Rooms were super clean (looked like they had just been redone) and the bed was really comfortable. Pool was very clean and the staff were very helpful with parking our truck and trailer. Cameras all over facility which made you feel safe.

Conveniently located hotel in the suburbs of Asheville, just a few minutes drive to the center. There are lots of restaurants and a grocery on the way to the center. Location is very quiet at night, despite being on the main road. I had a room on the second floor, with a pool view. Room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. However, there was a musty smell in the room (#222) that did not go away while I was there. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, was busy at times. Would stay again.

WiFi speed and reliability inadequate at peak times.

We've stayed here at least 4 times for about a week each time. It's not near as expensive as most other places in Asheville which definitely helps when you have to come here. We get a king room on the ground floor in the back. You hear very little road noise, and you can drive right up to the door where you're staying. Beds are comfortable, room is kept clean, breakfast has a wide range of all the usual selections with plenty of seating. Pool is bigger than most hotel pools and kept in good condition. We appreciate that the room has good lighting (so many hotels have poor room lighting!), there are towel bars in the bathroom, plenty of room around the sink for toiletries, the desk is a decent size, plenty of plugs for charging electronics, frig is a little bigger than the usual hotel frig, and there is a microwave. You can buy a frozen meal at the grocery store and heat it up, which saves on all that eating out and those jumbo portions! One thing to remember is that due to labor shortage they don't necessarily clean your room everyday on weekends. However, if you ask, they will. Staff has always been very helpful. You do need a car as almost nothing is within walking distance.

Unfortunately, the person in the room next door to us played the television ALL NIGHT LONG! We were so tired from our trip to get to the hotel, that we slept through most of it. However, in the early morning hours when it woke me up, I did muffle the sound by putting the fan on continuously and was able to muffle the noise and go back to sleep. I considered calling the office to complain but figured that it was not managements fault that someone needed a television to run all night to sleep.

At first, we were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarettes, even though we had booked a non-smoking room. However, when we pointed this out, we were promptly moved to another similar room without the cigarette smell. The staff responded quickly to our concerns, which we appreciated. Overall, the room was clean, although there were a few hairs on the bed sheet. Everything else worked properly.

The bottled waters and sweets welcoming us where a nice touch and treat. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast area seemed updated and modern. Breakfast was great. Good variety.

Bed was really high for my mom to get in to. Had to use the big foot stool that was in the room. I held it in place for safety. A nightlight in the bathroom would be nice. Can't leave the light on and door ajar because fan is on when the switch is on.

It was inexpensive without compromising on anything important. They had a reasonable hot breakfast for along day ahead. The location was quiet (our building was in the back) despite a highway nearby. They were conveniently located to arrive to CLT at 5 pm and drive towards the Great Smoky Mountains NP in the morning. They had really great tasting coffee in the morning. Well above what I'd expect from a typical motel. I had a little car trouble which forced me to be an hour late for my checkout. They were kind enough to forgive it.
