The staff was great and they are working on the place, looks nice. When I arrived a young man was painting, the cleaning staff was working, and the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful (as opposed to finding everyone staring at their cell phones, which seems to happen more and more, but not here). Thought I didn't use the shuttle, the nice man who drives it was very helpful and informative (I needed info regarding JFK Airport) As for the room, one of the pillows was normal, not so fat you get a stiff neck like every hotel seems to have, good shower, clean room. Seriously, you can't ask for more than a clean room, good shower, comfy bed, and great staff. Not much else matters. I did have to pay for parking $25, which surprised me but whatever. The area was somewhat disappointing because the local food choices were very limited to Asian or Jamaican and a Burger King, but that was it. I walked six blocks on each side and not one place served a salad. If that's my biggest complaint, its "All Good!" Other than the traffic, but it is New York City. And the local people were very pleasant in my quest to find a salad. Luckily, there were great prices on the snack machine. All in all, it was fun.

The TRAFFIC!!! Gads, I don't know how people live like that every day... on top of each other and going one mile per hour bumper to bumper. My only other complaint, as mentioned was very limited food choices at local venues. Seriously, no salad to be found for blocks? So no complaints about the hotel itself.

bed was comfortable, fridge worked. that was all I really cared about or made use of during my layover

the first floor is about eight steps down from the lobby and there's no elevator to the first floor. we had three pieces of luggage between the two of us so that wasn't great. continental breakfast was almost entirely carbs.. white bread, apples, yogurt, waffles. but acceptable for an included breakfast. the listing about free hourly shuttle to the airport should clarify that it is a shuttle to Federal Circle, which is still an $8.50 AirTrain ride to or from the airport. I ended up calling a rideshare to the airport because the 7am shuttle was running very late and there were very stressed people with me in the lobby, and we weren't all going to fit on the next van ride.

Surprisingly good value, this was the second cheapest hotel at JFK when I booked it. Was not expecting much based on the prices charged by the other hotels on booking.com. The hotel was more than adequate and every facility to make my stay trouble free. Breakfast was included...make your own waffles juice and yogurts. Paid extra to hold the room for an extra three hours, well worth it. Would definitely return as this hotel represents great value.

Honestly there was nothing to complain about. Its a great value budget hotel close to JFK with hourly shuttle.

The lady at the front desk was very sweet, the lobby was clean and the room was too. The room was on the third floor, likely away from the shelter rooms, so I appreciated that.

What was advertised as a room with 2 queen sized beds were full at best. Personal preference would have been one queen sized bed for 2 adults rather than 2 full/doubles. The labyrinth thru the breakfast area to the elevator was weird but they can't help architecture.

Free breakfast was pretty thoughful. Clean and spacious rooms. Staff were polite and helpful. And the free drop-off to the airport was pretty thoughtful as well. Will definitely be staying on my next trip to New York when I have to catch an early flight.

Most things were perfect but the free breakfast did run out at some point and had to make do with what was left so if you are gonna offer free breakfast, it would be ideal to make it sufficient.

All the staffs are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed got some traffic sound, which obstructed my sleep. I hope my next stay, that will be next month, I can stay in a quiet room like room 220, 222. Very convenient to the airport, got free shuttle and free b/fast. Very satisfied, value for money. But travel to city is far.

Payment was taken from my credit card before I arrived at the hotel. I chose the option, when booking to ‘PAY AT HOTEL’. My bank thought it may have been a fraudulent transaction, so contacted me before my out bound flight. This was annoying for me. PLEASE INSTRUCT THE HOTELS ON YOUR SITE, TO ADHERE TO THE PAYMENT OPTION, THAT IS SELECTED.

The staff were so kind especially the receptionist. I was very unwell when I arrived and they brought me some water and checked on me a couple of times.

My room 101 was beside the communal area and people, staff I think, we're talking loudly and clattering about all night. I did ask politely if they could be quieter as it was 3am and I felt unwell but the noise continued.

You need to get your van driver a stool. There is no step up for the van to accommodate short and/or elderly clients. We confiscated a suitcase to put on the ground so I could get in the van taking us to the airport. PLEASE, get your poor driver a step stool like the plastic kitchen single step stools.

Get a stool for the transportation driver.

Location: we chose the airport overnighter = 6 hour stay for price; since our arrival and baggage claim put us too late for the shuttle. It was just a $ 20 cab ride. The bed was comfortable and shower hot ; why pay more for short stay.

You get what you paid for most other hotels are a hundred dollars more a night. No complaints for the value.
