This wonderful hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The staffs were friendly, attentive, and professional. Several went out of their way to make our experiences special. Aya checked us in and was able to upgrade our room to a spacious suite for a very special mother-daughter trip. She also made excellent restaurant recommendations and helped with reservations. The breakfast was superb with a great selection cooked to order and fresh juices! During our 3-night stay the weather was not the best with almost continuous rain. Gaber went out of his way to open up the roof-top terrace (closed due to weather) on our last night just so I can catch a view of the city from the top floor. The hotel was at the perfect location, close to everything we wanted to visit. This is hands down my choice for a stay in this incredible city.

The place is smack down in the middle of everything, right next to Piazza Navona, five minutes walk from the Pantheon, 13 from the Vatican and 10 minutes from Piazza Venezia (I walk fast, so it's probably longer). I arrived earlier than planned (3 hours earlier than check-in time). Even though they don't allow check-in earlier than normal hours (but take care of your luggage), after 15 minutes in the lounge (which I really liked), I was informed that my room is ready and got upgraded to a room with a better view (that's probably because I came off-season, in February. I wouldn't count on that to happen to everyone). Very courteous and welcoming staff, the breakfast is great and the view from the roof is amazing.

We loved our stay at Hotel Martis Palace!! We were a family of 6 adults with three rooms over Christmas and the staff took such WONDERFUL care of us. We couldn’t have asked for more. The breakfast was perfect for starting our day and the service was outstanding. Christmas breakfast was extra special and lovely. There were personal touches in our rooms like a welcome note, Christmas chocolates, slippers next to the bed at turn down. We used the “library lounge” many evenings for aperitif’s and they would bring us a tray. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. The location was perfect, so many great restaurants nearby and gelato on the corner. We definitely loved our stay!! Thank you to all at Hotel Martis Palace for making our stay so special!

We were very happy with everything, no complaints.

I had booked a regular room, but it was upgraded to a Junior Suite free of charge. Our stay was much more comfortable than expected, making the value for money even better! The breakfast selection was a bit limited but still good enough for a 4-star hotel. The bed was great! It was very helpful for taking some rest after a long walk in the city. The staff at the reception is very friendly as well. Overall, the experience has been very positive!

The soundproofing of the windows isn't great. The car traffic is quite audible in the rooms facing the street. However, after hitting 20K steps around the city, the traffic noise hardly impacts your night sleep. The soundproofing between the room and the corridor is not good. When people and the maintenance team start moving around in the morning, the noise from slamming doors wakes you up and kicks off your day earlier than planned—unless you're armed with earplugs... It is common for many hotels. The WiFi signal was not so good. I had to use 5G connection for connecting the office.

The most amazing staff you will ever meet, helpful beyond anything you can ever imagine, and its ehe best location in Rome for walking to every major attraction, you are so central it makes touring the city an absolute pleasure, and because of the location its almost impossible to get lost !!

Nothing was bad !!, its a boutique hotel so it is small and rooms are small , but it makes up for that in charm and the super staff . so it is hard to think of anything i didn't like.

Location was fantastic. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Only a few doors away from a grocery store where there are bottle drinks on sale. Walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Via Del Corso shopping street. Breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Reception staff on our arrival refused to give us our room key and insisted that he get his colleague to bring us and our roll-on luggages to the room (so that his colleague could earn a tip?). We could have easily managed on our own. The thing was his colleague was not even around and we had to wait for him for quite a bit. After a long 7 hour train and car ride, that was the last thing we needed. The room was quite cram and small. As we were only staying there overnight to catch a flight the next day, it didn't really matter but for those staying longer, it would be advisable to book a larger room.

I recently stayed at Martis Palace hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect, offering easy access to many of Rome’s iconic attractions, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. The combination of outstanding service and a prime location made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

The rooftop bar, good location (restaurants and sightseeing) and the staff were accommodating. For example, initially, I was booked into a room with stairs. After asking if I could change to a room with level flooring, we were upgraded to a junior suite. Even though they don't normally serve pizza in the hotel restaurant, they were able to whip one up when my nephew requested it.

The breakfast options could have been more varied, with more hot food options.

The location was ideal—close to everything but still calm and not overly busy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious with a great bathroom. Giorgio was fantastic and really added to the experience. I also loved the terrace on the top floor—a lovely spot to relax with great views. Also, it smells amazing inside.

I was a bit disappointed that our "Do Not Disturb" sign was ignored twice, and the room was cleaned after just one day.

The location is excellent, right beside Piazza Navona, within easy walking distance to The Pantheon, Trevi fountain and all the main attractions. All large rooms, great breakfast and very clean. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly, going out of their way to look after all our family - kids, grandparents and parents.
