Position

It’s now just on two weeks since I checked out and I still haven’t had my security deposit $199 refunded? I have tried to call them many times but usually it just rings out . I have managed to speak to someone twice and got nothing . Not happy

-Location was great. -Requested some milk for the room and it was delivered promptly. -Quite tight for room around the twin beds with no room in the bedroom area for suitcases unless repacking them in the wardrobes. -Need some shelving or more bench space in the bathroom for toiletry bags etc. -Also needs accessible power points near the bed. we found one behind the bed, but it was very hard to get to. Despite the possible improvements I made above, the apartment was excellent and I would be very happy to stay here again. Reception area staff were friendly and very helpful in regard to us storing our luggage before and after check in and check out.

I found my stay wonderful: Very central (a 2-minute walk from Chinatown train station) with many restaurants, bars, and shopping options. Clean and spacious room with a balcony, great shower. The amenities were good for cooking something quick, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I travel to Sydney again, I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for the lovely week.

The only downside (which doesn't bother me personally) is the proximity to the main road and therefore to traffic and bars. If you leave the balcony door open, it is quite loud. However, I was still able to sleep wonderfully :)

I don't have anything that I didn't like. If you are looking for a Nice flashy hotel that services all your needs and is spotless clean etc This is not for you! If you want a great apartment 'do it yourself style' This place is for you! Basic amenities, yes the furniture may be a bit worn However the beds are super comfortable the shower head and pressure is divine and you have a full kitchen to do as you please Great price for what you get !

I found the room very comfortable. The facilities were all sufficient and functional. Not quite up to the same standard of some of the more well known suites close by, but certainly good enough to meet all my needs. It's more perhaps that the building and rooms are starting to show their age a little. They could use a bit of a freshen up, but then again you pay a little more.

The coffee facilities could have been a little more up market (for the price) and perhaps the strong new paint smell that was prevalent during my stay. Otherwise not too much actually.

Kitchen & laundry facilities in the room made my week stay easier as I didn't need to over pack or find a laundromat. Front desk staff were always happy to assist and acknowledged me as I went to & from the lobby. Coles is located across the street, and Darling Harbour is just a 5 minute walk away. Gym facilities was also a factor in my decision to book here.

I felt the cost of overnight parking was costly on top of accommodation costs. Most city accommodation will validate for a cheaper overnight fee.

It's literally at the center. You're near Chinatown, which is still open late at night. Both the Tram rail and Subway station are a couple of minutes' walk from the Apartment Hotel. You're also near a Coles for cheap food and souvenirs.

Since our room is quite big, there's a part of the room where we can't figure out how to turn on the lights. The beds are also not the best, but they are still comfortable. No bidets as well, for a room focused on accessibility (though I think this is a non-issue for the majority)

The location was great and made it very easy to travel through the city. Easy checking in and out, staff were quite friendly. The facilities of the room were very convenient and easy to use, it was very convenient having a fridge and mini laundry. Having access to fast WIFI was very nice. The room was also very spacious!

The bathroom wasn’t completely clean, there were hairs from previous guests on the toilet. Not a massive issue but the TV’s were quite old and only had free to air channels, and the radio on the TV would be blasting each time we got back after a day out even though we displayed ‘Do Not Disturb’ on the door - not sure if this was room service or a weird TV function.

Great location. Clean and well maintained. MAKE SURE THE BOOKING NAME IS WHO CHECKS-IN. Of all the hundreds off bookings that I have made for myself and on behalf of my wife, there has never been a problem for her to check-in without me. APX would not allow her to check in, even though we share the same surname and credit card number. I had to adjust the booking/account to her name and wait for it to be processed and sent to the hotel.

Check in. My husband (booking.com member) booked the room for my friends and I. He has done this numerous times without incident. I was not able to check in as I did not have my husbands ID. I have the same last name and same credit card number. We were told that unless my husband was present, we could not check in. After several calls my husband had to revise the booking to reflect my name.  This was totally unacceptable, as he even explained it to the receptionist.
