I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to all the staff at the hotel for their exceptional service and kindness. During my stay, I faced an unexpected situation due to my father's illness, and I had to cut my stay short and return to Dubai. I would like to specifically thank the reception team for their cooperation and understanding in handling my situation. They did an outstanding job in facilitating the cancellation process and refunding the amounts due to me. They were professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I appreciate the efforts of the entire team in providing excellent service and ensuring a pleasant stay. I will always be grateful for your kindness and hospitality, and I will definitely recommend your hotel to my friends and family. Thank you again for everything.

location and directly connected with Sydney brewery is amazing.

Staff at check-in was really bad. I asked about breakfast but she didn’t even tell me the price or location or service time. Not friendly at all and made me upset.

Centrally located in CBD near World Square, with excellent public transport connections and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and other attractions. Friendly and helpful staff, especially concierge. Good-sized, clean room with bath and tea and coffee making facilities. Bustling, popular hotel with tourists and airline crew.

Lifts were incredibly slow, and only two out of the three appeared to be working. Only one hand towel for two guests. And although urns of tea and coffee were provided at the breakfast buffet, there was an additional charge for orders (such as flat white or cappuccino) which were taken at the breakfast reception - not the case at Rydges in Melbourne where we had previously stayed.

Location to all the various shops and train stations. The Hotel experienced a total Power Outage, which was outside of their control. This had never happened to them before and regardless of the situation helped us get our bags down 18 stories and found another hotel for us. All without power, under small lights and under extreme pressure from other guests needing assistance. Well done Team Rydges for your professional and calm manner in which you dealt with the situation.

The Breakfast most of the options had gone cold or in the case of the Bacon over the top cooked. However, having just taken a trip overseas to Europe most of the Breakfasts were the same.

Location is perfect. Concierge and reception available all the time. Myriad of food outlets for dinner within a short walk. Coles attached to the complex made it super easy. Secure.short stroll to chinatown and the markets. Short stroll to pitt street mall. Smells amazing on entry. Nice ambience. Very welcoming. Breakfast was great. The team member that checked us in (Robert) was exceptional. Bath tub in our room made it ppssible to truly relax after a long day out. Really enjoyed our stay and will be returning for our next short break.

Only 2 lifts so a little slow from the 21st floor. 3rd one was out of order. Unfortunately the shower screen leaked out all over the floor so you had to get multiple towels each shower. The only thing that would have been really convenient in the room would be a small microwave. All very minor things that didnt really impact our enjoyment

The staff were very friendly and helpful. At check-in we were upgraded to a room with a small balcony as a congratulations on our wedding anniversary and we were also given a couple of drink vouchers in addition to the complimentary vouchers we had received with our booking. The room was a good size, clean and had a super comfortable bed with two decent chairs along with a desk and desk chair. Although the bathroom looked a little tired, the shower turned out to be one of the best we've had with no leaks and immediate hot water. There was a separate bathtub with clothesline which we used to dry off the bathmat. We had a 3 night stay and opted to forego daily housekeeping which gave us a $20 food and beverage credit for use in the hotel - an excellent idea. The daily breakfast in Amber restaurant was generous with plenty of options both cooked and continental including poached or fried eggs cooked to order on request. Barrista coffee is available at a cost, however the drink vouchers or food and beverage credit covered that, it could also be used in the bar if desired. Normal tea and coffee is available at no extra charge during breakfast. All the staff were very attentive and plates promptly cleared. The hotel is extremely well located for Central Station, Sydney CBD and Circular Quay. Walking is easy and there are plenty of public transport options nearby. World Square has a large Coles supermarket, many eateries and shops located directly under the hotel which is extremely convenient, not to mention all the other eateries in the vicinity.

It was next to impossible to get a barrista made coffee after the closing time of Amber restaurant.

Location was great for a conference at ICC. Right in the CBD and next to Darling Harbour. Ambar restaurant had nice options. Good size room (King) and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Reception staff are not particularly friendly or helpful, but it was OK. I had booked a room available from 8.30 pm, I got there just after 8 pm and couldn't access the room. I don't think they would have been cleaning the room 15 min before my arrival, however, they didn't even attempt to check if the room was available. You can hear the rooms next door, which is not optimal.

Thank you very much for the pleasant stay. Despite being in the city center, the room was surprisingly quiet and I had a very comfortable time. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and I appreciate your service and look forward to visiting again.

There were just a couple of things we noticed: 1. We wanted to use the bathtub, but there was no plug. Also, the floor in the shower room was a bit slippery, which was a little concerning. 2. We stayed for two nights and hung the “Go Green & Earn Rewards” sign on the door right after arriving, choosing to skip housekeeping. However, the reward was never mentioned or applied during the stay and at checkout. We didn’t make the choice just for the reward, but in the end, it felt a bit meaningless. If we had known, we might have at least requested change the towels even without housekeeping.

Staff member upon check was very personable went above and beyond to accomodate us. Location is so central. Our stay and service was exceptional.one of my favourite places to stay due to its location and the perks included.

Only downfall is where the parking is situated and the getting to it and out if you want to go somewhere in your car.If I had to pay which thank goodness I didn't ,I thought pricing was a bit steep at $65 a night ( Following research it seems to be on the higher end of the average price for parking though in the city of $50 to $65 a night)

Its location and room size

There were three of us my husband and I and our 39 year old daughter, we booked it because it had a separate sleeping area for our daughter, which was a roll away bed or sofa bed. When we got to the room there was really room for a roll away bed so we assumed we were using the sofa bed. There were only two towels so we had to ask for another towel. We went out had a look at shops and had dinner then went back to our room, watched tv and decide to get the sofa bed set up, it was not made up, no sheets or pillows. It was 11.30 pm so she just slept on it as it was, luckily there were spare pillows on our bed
