I only stayed one night here to attend a show next door at the Capitol Theatre. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. Room was modern and clean and had everything one needs.

It was a little noisy with other guests coming and going in the hallway at times.

small but well-appointed rooms. Decor was great. Staff wonderful. Location brilliant and well priced parking with a great parking attendant.

Rooms could be a little larger but they were comfortable and cleverly done.

I had a wonderful stay at The Capitol Sydney Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent—close to everything, which made getting around the city really convenient. I would especially like to thank Evelyne for her outstanding service. She was incredibly helpful and always had a positive attitude, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I also want to thank all the staff at the reception for everything—they were consistently kind, professional, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Looking forward to staying here again!

FANTASTIC location. The light rail is on the door step and it isn’t loud like some of the other comments I read. The staff were amazing! Helped my mum move to a new room on the second last day as the lifts were having maintenance so she was able to use the service lift! Very accommodating and the beds and bathroom were clean and spacious (for inner Sydney accommodation standards) Would most definitely stay here again next time I’m I. Sydney!

My sister and I went to Sydney to see a show at the Capitol theatre and this hotel is just a few metres away. Also, you could walk from central station easily but we caught the light rail which stopped on the corner of the street. This hotel was spotlessly clean and it’s the most comfortable bed in any hotel that I’ve ever stayed in - and I’ve travelled a lot! We usually go to Sydney to see shows so this will be our hotel of choice from now on.

There was nothing. It’s a different kind of experience… kind of high tech… everything can be done online but we checked in on arrival with the help of staff. It was all very simple.

A very small, boutique (in my opinion). Very clean. Cozy. Love it! Great LOCATION - Between places where we want to be.

BATHROOM HAND SHOWER IS A MUST FOR ME. ( not all rooms comes with it). Very limited. Water pressure - very slow. FACILITIES No Phone in the rooms - in the event of emergency/accidents if you are on Single Occupancy. No phones - Not even on the floors. HOUSEKEEPING When we checked into one of the rooms, we found a bottle cap near the bedside. Quite dangerous as it is NOT the plastic. Gave feedback to the staff. She was accommodating. Perhaps no thorough check was done before handing over the keys and releasing it to the Front Office.

The location is perfect as close to light rail for travelling around Sydney.. 5 mins walk from Central Train Station. I have stayed here many times, but this is the first time since Capitol has been renovated. Very secure building, easy check in and check out. Decor is amazing. Across the road is a mini market and several cafes. A Hotel is close for meals. Bed is large, and mattress and pillows are very comfortable.

We stayed in room 306 and the location of the toilet does not allow you to have your legs squarely in front of you. I did let a staff member know about it and he was going to check it.

The room was located on a quiet side of the hotel, providing a sunny view over some shorter buildings. Its elegantly themed, with simple touches without sacrificing comfort. The room was a decent size for a single night for two. It had comfortable beds, fluffy blankets, soft mattress and 4x long pillows. The room also had a good airconditioning unit, which we were able to adjust to our liking. Shower had good pressure, with ample toiletries available.

All pretty small things. The pillows were on the verge of being a bit too firm for my liking. There didn't seem to be a exhaust fan in the bathroom, though that didn't really bother us. A weird feature was the buttons in the elevator/lifts which were set up in a way you'd have to look closely/second glance to determine which button you required.

Its in a good location and has car parking attached for extra cost. I like the renovations. I have stayed there many times prior to the renovations and I like the eq look and upgrade. Rooms are modern , reasonably clean. Secure building. Friendly helpful staff with good English. Close to theatre, restaurants, trams haymarket area

Unfortunately the lift was out of order whe leaving the carpark which made me have to change my plans as I have a bad back and couldn't walk the ramp twice, to drop off my suitcase to my car , go shopping then return. No shopping. Could be a little cheaper if booking second night but pretty good price really. Sheets don't fit the bed. They are too small.

The hotel was in a perfect location, offering a clean and comfortable room with a special touch of theatre. We enjoyed walking to Circular Quay (2km), QVB, Botanical Gardens and Hyde Park, and found plenty of cafes, restaurants and amenities nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we would look to stay again on our next visit to Sydney. Thank you :)

The pillows were quite heavy and dense, and the walls were a bit thin! We were on the 2nd floor so could hear our neighbours, the lift, and any noise from the reception and dining area.
