After a terrible experience with my previous booking in Melbourn, I was worried that the pictures on Booking.com wouldn’t match reality again. However, this hotel was exactly as shown in the photos, even better, and everything was perfect! The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and all the amenities were perfect. The location is perfect — right in the center and close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. There was also a convenient drinking machine in the reception area with multiple options — cold, warm, or hot water, sparkling or still — all free to fill up your bottle. The staff were super friendly and very polite, making me feel welcomed from the start. The breakfast was good enough to start the day, and the value for money was excellent. Highly recommend!

Very central location - could easily visit different neighborhood on foot. Was also very close to different modes of public transportation. Breakfast was excellent and generous. Staff was very helpful and kind. Bed was comfortable - although rooms a bit small.

Internet was terrible - really they need to do something about that. That is my biggest complaint . Main lobby was not great - should have more comfortable seating and be more of a « hang out » place.

I got an unexpected free upgrade which was great. I really liked the buffet breakfast

small thing, I didn’t like the 2 single beds pushed together to make a king bed because you could really feel the difference in the middle. Very comfortable mattress though

From the moment I called, the reception staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. This level of service continued in person, making me feel instantly welcome. The hotel's modern decor and soothing color scheme created a relaxing atmosphere, and the room itself was excellent, with all the necessary amenities. The balcony was a delightful bonus, providing fresh air and a nice view. The room service menu was extensive and catered well to diverse tastes. The hotel's location is also a major plus, offering easy access to public transport and popular attractions. I highly recommend Song Hotel and will certainly be saving it as a favorite."

Very happy with everything really but I would like to highlight particularly: - Breakfast - we couldn't ask for better food. Big choice buffet, great options, everything super fresh and tasty. - Location - not only you are in the heart of CBD but also very close to the train station. Super convenient.

We only needed reception a couple of times, but each time there was no one there to assist, and we had to wait quite a long while for someone to show up. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was frustrating. Perhaps we were just unlucky. Either way, it might be helpful to leave a note for guests indicating how long they might need to wait.

I have stayed at this hotel in it's former identity as the YWCA. Fabulous location which is what lured me back. You have the beautiful Hyde Park right over the Road and Museum Station just a little way down Liverpool St. To the East, you have Oxford St and the Surry Hills area. For the price, the Song Hotel was, I believe, good value for money, especially as a buffet -styled breakfast is included as part of the stay. There is even a fresh herb stand from which you may cut water cress etc (see photo). Additionally, the check in/out times are generous at 2:00pm and 11:00am respectively.

There was an odd smell coming from the bathroom but that is not uncommon in hotels where there is shared plumbing.

Very good location and Song Kitchen Cafe is next to Hotel. That is excellent and the breakfast is great. Staff is helpful and nice.

We stayed the first and second day in Song Hotel and went to Brisbane 4 nights. Then we return back to stay 3 nights in Song Hotel. When I booked the hotel and asked the staff that can we leave the large luggage in the hotel, they said that we could not. However, after a week and they give me a reply that we can. However, we buy the flight with an extra large luggage 's fee. When we returned, the receptionist said that our room was upgraded. However, it is not. The room is smaller and does not consider our request on the upper floor and spacious twin room. Luckily, the Chinese male reception staff is the most helpful one to help us find a room that is not too small and not the lowest floor for us.

Staff were amazing, clean comfortable rooms, although a bit small, was still more than enough room for a 3 night stay, and had plenty of storage so all your bags could go away (and we had 4 bag) and plenty of room to store and unpack what we needed . Room was very quiet, location was great, close to lots of shops, tourism spots, railway. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast each morning, some mornings were better than others, not having bacon was not good on one morning! Had dinner at the restaurant which was beautiful and very reasonably priced.

Breakfast was really the only downfall, didn't have bacon one morning, more chicken Sausages then beef, (beef or pork is a more normal breakfast sausage) scrambled eggs were also a bit hit and miss, weren't even good to look at and the grilled tomatoes were not really cooked other than being grilled on top they were hard, raw and cold inside

We booked the slightly larger room, still tight on space as we had 4 large suitcases having just come off a 7 week cruise. Room itself however was nicely decorated and overlooked a courtyard with lots of shrubs. It was also quiet. The room had everything we needed including an iron and ironing board! Breakfasts were excellent with a good selection to choose from, continental to cooked. We thought the position was excellent, a few minutes walk from the war memorial and about 10 minutes through the gardens to the hop on hop off bus stop where you had the choice of 2 routes. A further 25 mins walk , depending how fast you walk, through the botanic gardens to reach circular Quay where all the ferries departed. We like walking and there was a lot to see on the way. After long days sightseeing, we ate in the attached restaurant in the evenings. Although not an extensive menu, the food was very nice. Pizza and pasta delicious. Would happily stay here again.

The house red wine, avoid!!

I love how accessible Song hotel,it's only walking distance to all you need shops,restaurant and train station. I love the free breakfast but much better if there is fried rice😁 and love the unlimited water in the lobby,staff so friendly and always ready to help specially in directions where we want to go,kuddos to all my co Filipinos.

No bidet in the toilet and the cleaner always fortgot to put extra toilet roll., there are group of students during our stay who are so noisy even its really late at night,but overall i will still come back here if there is a chance.
