This hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from train station. Our junior suite was very nice, large with separate bedroom and on a high floor overlooking Hyde Park. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept well both nights. The breakfast was very good with a suitable selection of food, both cold and hot. Our package was in the expensive side however also included dinner both nights and despite some confusion by the staff about the dinner being included, the meals were quite good. My dessert on night 2 was outstanding.

The fact both the front desk staff and restaurant staff were initially confused about the inclusions in the package booked and paid for. All was okay on departure with nothing additional to pay.

Great location, we had a good view. Breakfast was good - plenty of choices, but would like to see more vegan savoury options.

First impression of check-in staff was not good - Pauline was on her mobile and ignored us to be checked in by someone else (until that lovely checkin lady was pulled off the desk to attend to an unwell patron (fair enough), so we were transferred back to Pauline who gave me the impression that it was a bother. These frontline staff are who can make/break a visit, and this "first impression" was not a good one. The lifts - a common gripe with customers we met throughout our stay. You learnt quick to either get in whatever lift came, or take the stairs.

We were very happy to have such a big room with a queen size bed. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking in any direction to desired attractions. The staff was helpful in giving directions and any information that we requested.

The restaurant buffet is too expensive and the only option for breakfast. I think there needs to be an option to order what you want for breakfast. The bar/pub restaurant for lunch/dinner wasn't serving good food and didn't have a good selection of choices. We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant in it especially for breakfast and it didn't meet our expectations or needs regarding this.

The staff were incredible. I felt respected, and they graciously looked after some additional and unexpected needs without making me feel like I was a difficult guest. Fedi at reception assisted me to locate a more suitable room for my 2 night stay with my sister. Brendan provided assistance with moving my luggage to the new room. Both staff members were approachable, friendly, helpful, kind, and extremely efficient. On the second night of our stay, I asked if I could have some heavy blankets to help me sleep. Brendan delivered them to the pool area so that he didn't wake me sister. When one of the cleaning staff saw me waiting at the elevator with lots of luggage, she helped me use the staff lift so I didn't have to wait for a very long time. These caring personal extra touches made our stay so much better.

Work being done on the elevator was a minor inconvenience with up to a 10 min wait to get downstairs. My suggestion would be to make sure the stairs are clean and respectable during times when work is being done on the lifts.

The size of the rooms were great for a family of 4. We also loved how quiet it was. We couldn't hear our neighbours. The beds and pillows were really comfy too. We slept so well. Location is great. Right across from Museum train station. A short walk to Surry Hills and George St Light rail. We also took the new Metro train down to Barangaroo. The view of Hyde Park from the room was great too. Would stay here again.

The pool area is a bit of a weird layout which meant there wasn't very much room for lounging around the pool. They also ran out of pool towels by 8pm even though the pool is open to 11pm.

We stayed here twice, either end of our east coast trip. staff were possibly the most friendly staff I have ever come across, so so helpful and informative without being too over the top, rooms were lovely- they were up to date, clean and well stocked and on our second stay, we even received a free upgrade, which was a great way to end our trip! Comfy beds, great drinks at the bar (we didn't eat here, but Sagra, a small Italian restaurant down the road was the key to our hearts on this trip), whole hotel had a really nice feel to it. This was my 1st time at a Pullman hotel and I will definitely book another stay in the future. Location was PERFECT! We had no bearings of the city when booking here but this location could not have been better! Great places to eat and drink, plus tourist activities in short walking distance, and the park itself is so lovely. Couldn't speak higher of our experience here. The Park View room was SO worth it! We totally fell in love with Sydney. Things we did: Both red and blue routes of bus tour. Harbour hop on hop off cruise, The Rocks and Sydney Harbour, Walked around Lavender Bay (10/10 need to do this, $1 train across the bridge, so lovely here) Blue Mountains tour (booked via Get Your Guide) Bondi beach (via hop on hop off bus) ate at Sagra, Bill and Toni's, and Macchiato Italian restaurants in the area.All packed into about 5 days!

There was not a single thing I disliked about this stay.

Room was very nice, with a really comfy bed and workspace to get some work done, Bathroom was clean and with a large bath and shower, Location is really nice being next to Hyde Park and with an amazing view, Mini-bar was nicely appointed and had a Nespresso coffee machine in room (I didn't use it).

Room was very dated with marks on walls and exposed wires near workspace desk, Lights had issue when walking in certain spots on carpet (they turn off, thought it was some kind of motion sensor for a minute), which happened frequently, Service was a bit slow for morning breakfast and in the restaurant for dinner, but staff were very polite, Slightly overpriced for the quality, but the location makes up for it.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the view was nice. This place is great for location and reasonable for standard and comfortable enough accommodation. You're paying for the view of the park, which is nice, but it's pushing the buck beyond its worth!

The room we had is well past its due date for a cosmetic face lift! The scratches, dents, and very outdated decor have well and truly had their day with the patching up work not doing its part anymore.
