Location, staff, size of room
Couldn’t turn off air conditioner Had to ask for beds to be made, bins to be emptied and bathroom cleaned. Apparently it’s done after every third night, which is no use if you are only staying 2 or 3 nights. After being out all day, it is nice to come to a made bed and empty rubbish bins without having to ask. There is no need to change sheets and towels, but I would have thought that, making the beds, removing rubbish and cleaning bathroom is standard procedure for an hotel room on a daily basis, and that is what sets it aside from a AirBnB.

Loved the location, lots of cafes and restaurants around the area. The view from our room was superb. Great parking under the building with multiple exits possible. Very pleasant staff. Size of room was wonderful, and there was a spa bath!
Bed was a bit old and hard and had a bit of roll together going on. No room service and no mini bar. The car park was closed when we returned from our event and we weren't advised of it. Not a big deal just a few minutes wait to get security to open up for us.

We loved that the harbour view room used in the marketing materials is the view that we got. Fabulous. Rooms were serviced when requested and the hotel served its purpose as a bases for our trip to follow the British Lions across Australia. A short taxi ride to the harbour side or a 25 min walk , but uber was reliable and cheap. There are a few local eating and drinking hotspots which were great but the harbour front is where all the action is. But you also pay for the location so we stayed local quite a bit. Staff were great. Weather was not. Not many reception staff offer to lend you their umbrella because all of the courtesy ones were being used. Impressed.
Nothing that would spoil an overly great review

We absolutely love the view - overlooking the Opera House and Bridge (we payed extra for a room with a view of the Harbour).
Such a shame, but we were very disappointed that the room was not cleaned or tidied at all during our three day stay. How does not making a bed, emptying a bin and replenishing the tea, coffee sets really save the planet?? We are not stupid!!

Stayed here multiple times over several years and find the staff so helpful. Happy to let you leave bags if you pop off somewhere else within Australia during your trip which incredibly helpful if you taking a cheap internal flight with less luggage allowance. Not too far from airport for quick transfer but easy walking distance to CBD and Circular Key - lovely walk through Botanical gardens.
No longer has a restaurant but plenty of bars and restaurants nearby so not an issue and they happy to supply ice to your room.

The room was spacious andclean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were happy to have our bags dropped off before check in. It was very close to a Metro supermarket which was handy. Easy walking distance to the centre of town, hop on hop off bus stop right outside hotel.
Policy stated that housekeeping/linen change would occur on the third day for sustainability purposes but every day we had a complete linen change including complete bedding change which was unnecessary and against the policy. I do prefer to have a little bit more in the way of Kitchen facilities/ crockery/ cutlery and I didn’t read the description well enough before booking so next time I would consider a different property for that reason. I would also prefer a detachable shower rose. Very limited TV channel selection.

Clean room and nice staff. I was first assigned a room across from the laundry room and upon request they moved me to a different floor. The bathroom had very slow drains. They told me they were working on the plumbing for the entire place. Booking.com did not give me a choice to choose a single room without the breakfast. Double rooms had the option to choose with or without. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest. And for the price I would have chosen without breakfast. I had 8 other friends and cousins staying at the same time. And we stayed for an entire week.

Spacious room and beds and sufficient cupboard/drawer space for 7 nights. Great location to many of the Sydney city attractions. Woolworths Metro store next door. Ample parking at premises albeit paid. The fridge in the room was very useful.
Wish there was a bath mat. The exhaust fan inside the bath didn't seem to work, the bathroom filled with steam when taking a shower. Had to sign a form saying if we triggered the smoke alarm we would have to pay a fine, but it made us worried when using the steam iron and the kettle. The entrance and the exit the car parking was not tidy (it didn't give a good first impression)

the staff told us that we were upgraded to a room with a good view of the harbour bridge. we really did love waking up to the view :) the bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. location's pretty good. there's a bus stop right outside, but if you want to take the train there'll be a bit of an uphill walk towards Hyde Park. there's a Woolies just across the road and a cafe down at the lobby. there are also a couple of good pubs a few steps down the street. we didn't encounter any problems during our stay. the staff were kind and helpful!
toilet felt a bit outdated, but it is clean. would be great if they can upgrade the ambience of the toilet. I'm willing to pay more for a more relaxing bath experience since I am on vacation.

I had a pleasant stay here - the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the amenities were top-notch. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I did have an unfortunate interaction with one staff member at reception who came across as quite dismissive and uninterested in assisting guests. It was disappointing, especially considering the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Overall, I’d still recommend [Hotel Name] for its comfort and facilities, but I hope management addresses the importance of warm and welcoming service across the board.
