As an older person , I didn’t like the necessity of having to download an app to order room service . And as a retired chef , pickled white anchovy, one , and broken pieces of grissini , little bread sticks , are not a welcome innovation to the classic Caesar Salad …hint for kitchen , use real anchovies in oil , and make your own croutons…

Location was great, only a short drive from the airport and to the cruise terminal. Supermarket is across the road and only a 5 minute walk to DFO and cafes. Room was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a suite with 2 adults and 2 children. We arrived at 11pm (which was previously communicated) and when we got up to the room the sofa bed was not made up. There was no linen, blankets or pillows for us to make it up ourselves. Called reception with no answer. Had to go down to reception to ask for linen etc for the bed. Staff were very apologetic and provided what we needed straight away. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but main bed was quite comfortable.

We always stay here prior to overseas flights. Love the soundproofed rooms, huge comfy beds and great pillows. Love that it is right next to DFO for a quick shop or some food. There is a hotel for drinks and meal next door also. Taxis arrive very quicky next morning to Airport. Flat rate $20 in Taxi. Its a little expensive per night but worth the convenience to the airport and to arrive to check in fully rested and relaxed - makes a huge difference to the start of the trip.

The bathroom door stuck so difficult to shut. Otherwise everything is as expected and we love staying here.

Clean, comfy, loved 2 beds in 1 room for our family of 4. Liked easy access to Woolworths and other shops across the road for necessities. Liked the later check out time.

Be very clear you can NOT walk there from the airport terminals. Do not follow the signs for hotel/conference rooms as it is not there. I wish it could have been a lot clearer as it meant a long walk with suitcases and 2 babies only to have to go to one of the other hotels there and book a taxi (make sure they use the meter and try not to rip you off too!). Added almost an extra hour to our trip. Also not if using the shuttle bus to/from airport they stop running from 6pm and 9.30am or something like that- so check with staff in advance.

There are no free transport options or shuttle bus options after hours. There is the free shuttle to Skygate DFO but after about 5pm there is nothing and taxi's hate driving 10 minutes down the road when they have sat for hours waiting for a big fare. You can get an Uber for about $25. I went for the DFO but the DFO opens at 10am which is way too late for anyone with a midday flight or earlier. In hindsight it might have been cheaper to stay in one of the hotels at the domestic airport and you can get their via free shuttle services and walk and then take the free shuttle to DFO the next morning.

We had a good stay at Novotel Brisbane Airport. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near the DFO and offers easy access to dining and shopping. However, it’s important to note that despite the name, the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the terminals—you’ll still need to take a taxi or shuttle to get to the airport. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay before a flight, just plan ahead for airport transport.

Great location with a supermarket and DFO right next door. 5min drive to the airport, awesome for an overnight stay to catch an international flight the next morning. Restaurant is divine, dinner was delicious and the buffet breakfast was the perfect start for our travel day ahead. The staff were lovely, there was a lady on reception who checked us in, she was just the friendliest face I had seen in a while. I wish I got her name, she gave my son a little activity book and even though a small gesture he certainly felt really special.

The room and breakfast was great. The fact that kids under 12 eat free at the buffet was a bonus and my 3yr old daughter loved the hard boiled eggs and yoghurt. There are so many options every kid could find something they like. The check in team were great and had the room completely set up for us with a porta cot for our baby. They also arrange our airport transport and nothing was too much trouble.

Our 6month old baby slept in a portable cot. However, it was just a hard base. It could do with a mattress in the future to make it a bit more comfortable for her.

Room was lovely and clean and rather spacious. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic, just 15 mins from BICT and 10mins from the airport. We killed 4 hours in the nearby Skygate outlet center while waiting to check in, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we did so.

I booked our particular type of room as both the description and photos said it came with a sofa bed for our teen but there wasn't one unfortunately. The double beds were comfy but very small, I ended up sleeping on the floor because my husband and I couldn't share the bed and the teen had the other bed. (By the time we had remembered about the sofa bed this it was almost midnight and too late by then)

Close to the airport for an overnight stay before continuing our travels. Staff very good especially bar/dinning.

The was a stale/musty smell when opening the room door. This seemed to be from the bathroom area which could be that the drains require flushing out. Taxi driver particularly rude when dropping us off!!!! “Great advertisement for the city” I must say, Yea right!!!!! Perhaps some system should be introduced in conjunction with hotels, airport & taxi companies to elevate this negative first impression.
