Loved the location. Sarah was really responsive and organised our check in after hours really easily. 2 min walk to the beach, v easy to get to and from the airport (4 min walk to the tram, which you then take to Broadbeach South and take the 777 bus from there all the way to the airport).

Sarah and her partner had just taken over the business a week ago when we arrived so there are a lot of things they are trying to improve on. The overall service was lovely, but will be improved as they get more familiar with the business. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived but when alerted, Sarah offered to come and clean it. We also did not know we were on the third floor with no lift, just made going up and down with luggage a bit more difficult. There were toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo for every person when we arrived. However, when the toilet paper finished and we asked for some, Sarah kindly gave us one more but clarified they don’t provide amenities.

Been going here for over 10yrs, each room owned by investors so some rooms have extremely modern kitchens and lounge rooms some not so much but all are great. New managers are really nice and keep it spick and span. Bbq area spotless. Pool and spa always clean. Secure property need key to access from street, deadlocks on room doors. Can't praise it high enough with new managers. Beach 300 mtrs away, Cavill Ave 2 blocks away. On doorstep of Q1.

Location Location Location walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions at surfers paradise and short trips on tram and buses to others. 100 metres to the beach. grocery and other shopping stores all in walking distance also. my 2 kids and I had a busy 10 days and the apartment was comfortable with a full kitchen to do meals and beds were comfortable. the managers are very nice and accommodating

very small hot water system which struggled with 3 people having showers and then doing the dishes.

Absolutely loved our stay at Trickett Gardens, so easy to find and great undercover car parking. Simple check in, friendly staff. The apartment was just perfect for what we needed after over a week of camping. Laundry facilities in the room is amazing, fully equipped normal kitchen , nice bed and comfy sofa and TV. Right in the centre of surfers paradise. This place was just wonderful. I could have stayed a lot longer!

The apartment was so much nicer than I expected! For the price I thought it’d feel much older and be less thoughtfully decorated. It has older style beachy vibes but beautiful white linen, very clean, super comfortable and felt fresh and not run down at all. Was very impressed! Didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. Staff were so friendly! Parking was easy and they were happy for us to park prior to check in time. Overall I was very impressed!

I love the location, with the proximity to everything you need in a busy spot like Surfer's Paradise was amazing. Right near the beach and public transport services too. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful for my little family, making our stay just that much easier. They were compassionate and understanding for all of my requests, and acknowledged my need for a ground floor unit upon arrival. Although I didn't get to try the pool or spa, they both looked very inviting. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stay at Trickett Gardens.

The only downside I can possibly mention is the small hot water service tank. My family (particularly my youngest daughter) love showers, but unfortunately she doesn't like to get out too quickly. I would suggest investing in an instant hot water heater instead especially for the rooms designed for families or groups..

The location of these apartments are fantastic. Only a short walk to the beach and shops are all around as is the public transport. The gardens and pool area are lovely. A request for early check in was made and quickly accepted which made things very easy for us to get to the football on time. There is also parking available at no extra charge.

No lift

The manager Cai was very friendly & accommodating. Our flight arrived very early in the morning & he let us keep our bags on sight while we went out exploring even letting us check into our room at 10:30am. Cavill Ave is only 3 minutes walk away with all your restaurants & shops & the beach only 1 minute from the door. The rooms were spacious enough. It was very affordable so you get what you pay for. Location is what you're paying for as no car is needed, you can walk to everything with the tram 3 minutes away to take you to places like Pacific Fair for shopping or to all the theme parks. Definitely recommend for families.

Excellent location, easy walk to everything; bars, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, groceries and the beach. Room had been nicely updated and was clean, tidy and cosy. Loved that was a very short walk to the beach. Great parking for unit 33.

Would be great if could put a ceiling fan in the second room. Otherwise the unit was lovely and had everything we needed and appreciated the trundle bed!

It the perfect location for the Pacific Airshow - 100m away. Quiet and local. Rooms are old and a little tired but perfectly comfortable. Pool and spa were lovely, bbq very convenient. Staff super accommodating and friendly. Darcy the dog was a hit.

Was a bit tired - bedroom door didn’t close without effort, plug didn’t seal in the sink so washing up was difficult. Not enough power points in the kitchen.
