Stayed as family in 2 bed apartment. Layout and space was great.The facilities within apartment were great especially the washing machine and tumble dryer for our 17 night stay of a family of 5. The cooking facilities are also excellent. Location was perfect for local amenities and easy access to city center. Pool was lovely, really warm and we usually had it to ourselves. Hotel staff were excellent, especially reception staff and in particular Sean on reception who helped us out several times during our stay from directions, assistance with Ubers, complimentary umbrellas and printing documents. His warm smile on our daily greeting was a welcome sight!

The menu in restaurant for breakfast and dinner is not small kid friendly so we could not get our fussy eater to dine here. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the apartments was a negative. Floors were not clean on our arrival and throughout our 17 night stay, despite asking housekeeping to do same. The middle of the living area and kitchen was partially vacuumed on our request but never properly cleaned. An inch of dust was on the top of headboards in both bedrooms and across surfaces. Bathroom sink has black grime in overflow drain and in plug which is unhygienic. I had to buy cleaning products to clean apartment myself throughout our stay.i would say this is the only negative I would have on what otherwise was a 5 star stay!

We stayed here for six nights as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 3yo) and had the best time. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, accomodating, always happy to answer questions and gave us a lot of information to help us navigate where we wanted to visit. Room was perfectly clean when we arrived, bed was comfortable, the room also had a washer/dryer which came in handy a couple times.

There seemed to be some issues with controlling the temperature in the bedroom which made it quite warm to sleep at night. We did raise the issue and it was fixed but seems the following night it reset. We were unable to chrome cast on the TV which was a little frustrating as we wanted to watch AFL games that were not broadcast on free to air. Possibly having a pay as you go streaming charge would be good so guests can utilise streaming services.

Super clean, luxurious and fantastic location. The thoroughly fascinating Pentridge prison precinct had everything you needed, was only a short walk to Coburg Lakes Reserve, and was less than 5 minutes walk to public transport into Melbourne CBD. I also enjoyed one extra luxurious night in The Interlude- rooms are made up of 4 original prison cells, quite an extraordinary experience! All staff were so so friendly, helpful and accommodating when I needed to change my plans (new grandchild arriving several days overdue) Facilities and restaurants in the hotel complex were perfect!

Nothing Only comment/suggestion I have would be for the addition of a toaster in the studio.

Check in with Harrison was easy & very welcoming. The hotel itself so much history, so much to see and take in & did the pentridge H division tour Amazing. Stayed in apartment, Impressed with the the size of of it all the bedroom bathroom as well as the fridge washing machine lounge with balcony The facilities are great and the pool I personally thought luxury and romance. Big Thank you to housekeeping called for extra towels and coffee a few times over the weekend no more than 10 minutes and they were at the door.

There was an issue with the service breakfast morning I truly wasn't happy spoke with management and it was addressed straight away.

Exceptional friendly staff throughout! Excellent Location, very unique, loved the complimentary use of the cute bicycle and enjoyed exploring the eclectic Sydney Road on it . Excellent service and delicious dinner in the restaurant👌 The Heritage rooms in the old cells are absolutely amazing, definitely a really unique experience & very stylish & plush. Would definitely love to stay again.

Did not have breakfast but no room service until evening and no food or bar st all on a Sunday but Pentridge right next door so plenty options including a great independent fine foods supermarket on your doorstep and open until 9pm every night.

The customer service was excellent - always friendly and helpful. We love the unique location at the old Pentridge site, with a great mix of cafes, restaurants, shops and tours all within the grounds. The apartment had everything we needed - a well-equipped kitchen, a comfy bed, great shower pressure and a lovely pool. There’s plenty to do right at the Pentridge site but if you want to explore further the city is only a short trip away. We’ve stayed here before and would happily stay again.

I’m a very light sleeper, so the occasional bursts of noise from the heating/cooling system did wake me at times.

The front desk receptionist was amazing, really helpful and polite. He helped us access the other side of hotel to look around after we dropped off the key card. It was astonishing and we definitely are going to book again. The facilities had unique atmosphere that I have not seen anywhere before. The price was also really good for the standard we got.

It was a little difficult to find the entrance using iMaps/Google maps as it was taking us to the wrong corner of the street. Despite the text message from hotel containing useful information about access point being from outside of Melbourne it did not help much. It was just a slight inconvenience that was resolved within few minutes.

I stayed at The Interlude - the interior design was beautiful and space soooo comfortable. The bar was right underneath my room, but the internal door completely blocked the noise. I also popped down for a glass to have while I got ready to go out. Best of both! The bed was super comfy and perfect for me. Being tucked in the corner, it's worth noting if you are a couple, one of you would need to climb over the other person to get out. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and had lovely toiletries. It was lovely to have a stroll around the Prison and I sat outside for lunch in the sunshine (lots of spaces to choose from). The shops nearby provided me with everything I needed. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced, and the parking was easy and also a good deal. The service from everyone was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I plan to stay again!

The smallest grumble - the lack of room service before 5.30pm as I was working. That said, the supermarket, etc, was very close by, so I took a stroll.

A beautiful hotel on grounds with rich history. The room was well furnished with what one might have at home, including an oven. Bathroom and bedroom were clean when we arrived. Convenient location, with a shopping mall and an excellent cafe within walking distance. On-site underground parking (for a fee) is a big plus too.

Might be nitpicking, but toilet paper was only 1 ply and a bit rough. Hotel is a distance away from Melbourne city center, which might be a factor to consider. Climate controls had a limited range of temperature (up to 28°C). Could not figure out how to open the doors to the balcony (maybe not available during winter)
