Our room was upgraded to the Interlude, meaning we were able to sleep in one of the old cells, which was awedome. Staff were brilliant, and the room was clean and comfortable.

There was a wedding on in the venue and when we came back from being out all the car parks were taken in the underground parking that we had paid for. The people at reception were lovely about it and let us keep our car in the front area and advised us that it was likely due to the wedding guests using it, despite being told not to. However, the stay was lovely. The hotel and staff were amazing, and we'll definitely be back. Just hope they find a way to stop this happening in future.

No toilet brush in the room. Not enough dishwasher, washing machine detergents (though a one of each existing were dirt-cheap). The only bathroom floor mat/towel was replaced with a similar looking, but a very small hand towel the very first day. Tiny pack of milk in the fridge is a joke for a tenant who is not doing shopping. Not enough for tea and coffee even for one person. Milk should not be optional, same as coffee and tea. The door between bathroom and the bedroom was sliding open by itself unless forced-jammed with something.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne and it was a delightful experience. The Pentridge Adina Apartments offer a stylish stay, but there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioner needs an upgrade as it didn’t run efficiently, room service starting at 5:30pm felt too late, and the breakfast lacked flavour and value for money.

Great room, quite spacious, clean and stylish. Love how the hotel chain kept the original building facade of Pentridge Prison. In the hotel room is a beautiful historical book full of the prison's history and an enormous election of photos inside, outside and around the prison grounds, fascinating. Great bathroom and bed fairly comfy. The bedhead is designed like a printed fabric version of a prison fence, the room design has been cleverly created.

Chromecast WiFi on the tv did not work after following all directons so was limited to free to air TV channel options only.

We booked the studio apartment, which included a separate bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen/lounge area. • Friendly staff: Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. • Amenities: The apartment had a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, oven, stovetop, and all necessary utensils. • Facilities: The pool was fantastic, and we had it to ourselves for a while. There’s also a small gym, restaurant and wine bar on-site. • Convenience: On-site parking was available for $19. • Comfort: The bed was comfortable (though a little soft for my preference), and the shower was excellent. • Design: The design of the place was amazing, with plenty of interesting details to look at. • Location: It’s connected to Pentridge Prison, so it’s less than a 5-minute walk to explore the site, which includes a cinema, shopping centre, and several restaurants/cafes. It’s also close to the city. • Cleanliness: The apartment was clean and quiet with no outside noise. We’d definitely stay here again!

• Bathroom amenities: No bar soap, only body wash (a common issue in many hotels these days). • Kitchen bin: The bin was very small, and even during a one-night stay, it filled up quickly.

we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which had plenty of space and was very well equipped with a balcony and view of the watch tower. loved the decor of the lobby, bar, conference spaces, restaurant. Staff were very friendly and responsive - helped us open the balcony door which required rambo strength to open or a secret knack. underground pool very nice. breakfast staff friendly and food good. underground parking easy and were able to leave the car there after check out. Fabulous precinct with heritage buildings, Brewdog a good bar/restaurant, The Boot Factory a great cafe, good supermarket, close to prison tours.

offer mugs rather than one size of coffee in the restaurant, jazz up the muffin to being a home made one for the eggs benedict. Airconditioner in the room was hard to regulate - leave an instruction booklet?

Everything, we chose the location as everything was in one space. We wanted to relax and unwind and we most definitely were able to do so. There was a lovely market on the Sunday in the middle of the courtyard and we went on a Night Watch Tour with Damian and Paige from Australian National Trust, through many areas that can not be accessed otherwise. Great value, gorgeous design throughout, maintaining the vibe, beauty and history of Pentridge Prison.

I would have loved another container of milk and a milk frother for the pod machine but truely that was a minor detail. I guess more details about entering into the free parking, as info details didn't explain that you need to connect with reception before going in at the intercom, not a biggie either.

Didn't have brekky but had brunch at the Boot Factory just next door just prior to checking in. The location at Pentridge Prison is amazing. Lovely to wander around the old prison buildings and then be back at your hotel within 5 minutes. Great proximity to the airport too as we were travelling the following day after checking out. The room was lovely. Very clean and very comfortable with views over Pentridge. Beautifully maintained with a huge king bed and great mattress / pillows etc and gorgeous bathroom. Also great on site parking.

Very comfortable apartment, spacious with small kitchenette allowing you to self cater if needed. Room was super clean and beautifully furnished. Bathroom had large shower, lots of bench space and toilet plenty of room . Location was good with IGA supermarket and various eateries within the original walls of Pentridge and a quick 2 min walk from the apartment. Interesting walk through old cell block to get there with wine bar along the way. Didn’t get to try hotel food but will next time. Staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and friendly.
