Great staff, good location, excellent breakfast available. The pillows were amazing 👏 Bed very comfy. Really appreciated the call the day before arrival.

The room wasn't as "finished" as it should have been in parts and felt like it hadn't been used for a while. Some cobwebs behind the curtains, a small amount of residue on the shower floor. Which washed away once the water was put on. The window in the bathroom was wound open but too high to close myself. I couldn't work out why it was so cold😅 The bed and bedding were clean though. I did look for a place to leave feedback directly with hotel but couldn't find it.

I was happy with my stay at Mecrure North Melbourne for the price. The staff were very friendly, car parking on site was a bonus ($27 charge). I was upgraded to a Superior Queen which was lovely. The room was large with a sitting area and desk area. Comfortable bed. Good location for my needs.

The lifts are very small and slow. A light was flickering, however as I arrived late, I didn't let reception know. I tried to contact reception to order room service, however it kept ringing out. I couldn't find any information on how to contact the restaurant directly, so I ordered Uber Eats. The heater worked well, however, it was noisy as it cut in and out to regulate the heat.

Excellent hot water with great water pressure. Tea making facilities on hand. The location was good - a few minutes walk to the tram stops on Flemington Road. Loved the feature wallpaper of downtown Melbourne scenes - tram, railway station etc. Breakfast was basic, but tasty.

Although there were full length draw curtains the room had a huge window overlooking the backyards of adjacent homes. Felt somewhat exposed with the curtains open. Either additional blinds or filter curtains at the window would provide privacy. A wall attached swing magnified mirror in the bathroom would be helpful. Thin walls between neighbouring guests room - could hear them going to the toilet! TV screen was a little on the small side. The location - Situated on busy Flemington Road was very noisy with the Trams, sirens to hospitals during the night.

Taxi was arranged by the staff and arrived in 5 minutes. Checkout was even more smoother. Excellent and quite location, 10 minute walk to the Murphy St./Flemington Road tram station to connect to CBD

Though working well, the creaky small and old lift next to the check in needs an uplift and some cleaning.

The location was only 350 metres from the Royal Children's Hospital 🥰 The rooms were very clean, had comfortable beds, great blockout curtains and I can't remember the time when they come in to tidy up and make the beds for you ❤️❤️

The Room Service Menu (especially the 24hr one) was just pizza really and if you order Room Service during the peak times you can only get the Starter and Main, if you want dessert you physically have to order at the restaurant and carry it up yourself. So this is why we ordered via Uber eats just more variety 😁 The telephone line even for room service was shocking, crackly and I could barely hear them on the other end.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. It was great to have a restaurant onsite that did room service (with very nice meals I might add) and it was perfect distance to where we needed to be. Very clean, and having parking onsite was great too.

Not really dislikes but if i had to find something...It was more dated than the pictures indicated and the lift was a bit scary (older)...and the key cards are super sensitive to your phone! Kudos to the staff as I was down there about 3 times a day getting mine recoded 😁 Wouldn't stop me from not staying again though.

The staff were very friendly! The location was great to let kids experience trams into the city. The rooms were great and comfortable, and the breakfast included was delicious. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again!

The bin in the kitchen hadn't been emptied from the previous booking. There were no plates provided for the food we wanted to use in the microwave. The kids were excited to see the bath was a spa, but when we filled it up, we realised it didn't work. Once the bath was emptied, the jets had really dirty gunk coming out of them. The remote for the TV didn't work.

Improved wifi so that you can now access wifi from second floor. Comfortable bed.

They have doubled the cost of parking and breakfast. Parking is still good but the breakfast was terrible. They used to have breakfast cooked to order. Now it is all precooked. You can order eggs how you want them but everything else is precooked and cold. Given that they have doubled the price you would think it would at least be hot but it was cold every morning. Unless you are there when they fill up each item your meal will be cold. Don't bother getting breakfast included in your room rate. There are nearby places to eat which offer better options.

We liked the convenience of the Mercure Hotelfor our reason to visiting Melbourne. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

I have a saying 'you get what you pay for' and the standard room was exactly that - other times we have stayed at the Mercure we have had larger rooms and more attractive views from the rooms. On saying that on previous occasions I have booked directly with the hotel and received a discount as my husband is a apatient at a nearby hospital.

The location was convenient, right across the zoo. So we visited the zoo by walk and took a tram in and out of the city. We also walked to restaurants in the city as it was less than 2 kms away. The staff were amazing, always courteous and serviced our room everyday

The lifts were very old and dingy. Despite being summer we never got into the pool as it was not heated
