The rooms are clean, cheap, and comfy. They come with a mini fridge, towels, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, and handsoap. I stayed 5 days and 4 nights for 390 lowered to 320 thanks to my rewards, and they didn't charge me the security deposit which was nice. I recommend booking a couples room just because its cheaper than a solo room (at least from what i found). Theres also tram 57 straight to places like Melbourne central and flinders street, which is a huge help!

The rooms are a little dusty, so my allergies were going off a little, opening the window didn't help much which is why its not a 10. But dust isnt too big a deal since it was so cheap. They dont have an elevator, but they do advertise that they dont, so if you dont mind hauling your luggage upstairs its great value for money!

Location is great. Price is very good value, especially for the location. Room basic but has what you need and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Heating/cooling is confusing. TV had no guide button. Bed takes up almost all of the room - prefer smaller bed and a little more space to walk around it. Microwave in room would be useful.

I traveled with my mother aged 84 to Australia for 12 days in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Miami Hotel was my favorite hotel while in Melbourne. The hotel was very clean, located in a beautiful environment, but not far from the city center,. Public transportation such as tram and buses were easy to reach, walking not far, Aldi's supermarket was close to the hotel, The place to eat was not far away. In this hotel there was a shared kitchen that was rarely found in hotels. Hotel staff were very friendly, especially there was one staff who helped me a lot like finding a tour, calling a taxi. I was very grateful to him. One day if I go to Melbourne again, I will stay at the Miami Hotel again because it was very comfortable and fun. Highly recommend

Absolutely worth the money, I found my room to be very clean with a lot of adds on like coffee, tea, milk and hygiene items such as body wash and lotion. The room was bigger than I expected to be and looked better than the pictures, the bed was very comfy and huge which I adored. The walk from the hotel to the centre was not too bad, and even if so there are plenty ubers around the area. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I didn't have any problems with the hotel , it was more of the walk being around 30-40minutes which is still not too bad. Apart from that, no problems.

We have stayed on a previous occassion and again found the rooms, although small were very comfortable and clean. We took the option of having our room made up and towels changed each second day and this was very adequate for our stay. Although we drove from interstate we didnt use the car everyday and took advantage of being very close to public transport which we did used every day.

As this cant be changed due to the structure of the building, we didnt enjoy using two flights of stairs at the end of a busy day, but we took a positive outlook and used it as extra exercise.

We arrived on a late flight and arrived at the hotel at 1.00 am staff were expecting us and we had a room close to reception, was quick check in and into our room. Room was what I would call medium and had every convinces we needed and quiet. We only used this room as an arrival hotel but if we go to Melbourne again we would differently book this hotel for our stay. Great location, after checkout we left our bags at the hotel and walked to Queen Victoria Markets and close to all the transport that Melbourne offers.

Stayed 3 nights. Solo older female traveller. Great value for money. Basic room and a wee bit tired as expected for price. But super clean. Attention to no chemicals. Bed a bit firm for me but comfy. Poor sound isolation to corridor and ceiling but other guests considerate and very quiet overnight. Good location. Short walk to Victoria markets and free tram zone. 5 min to Aldi and another 15 min flat walk to southern cross station Staff all very friendly. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Spacious and clean room, big comfortable bed. I liked that we had a kettle, mini fridge, tea and coffee etc in the room. The staff was very friendly and they allowed us to check out 1 hour later for free, which was nice. The luggage storage room is also very convenient.

I was expecting the hotel to be slightly closer to CBD (but it’s still fine), and maybe they could improve a bit the decoration of the hotel (it’s all white, there’s no decoration). Other than that, it was perfect!

Great location close to train and tram and also close enough to the city centre to even walk in under 30 minutes. It is within quite a safe area, but 24h reception gives peace of mind. I liked the charger hub they provide so you can just plug your cords straight into that and charge multiple devices. I found the bed really comfortable and had a great sleep! The area was quiet too so I barely heard any street noises.

It was a bit on the cool side as the windows aren't that insulated and you don't have control over the air con/heating... That didn't cause any big issues for me but I can imagine some people may find it doesn't suit their body's needs.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staffs were incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond by upgrading our room to a master room, which was a delightful surprise and made our stay even more comfortable and luxurious than we expected. The location is also fantastic, conveniently close to key attractions and amenities.
