Location was really good. King size room was excellent and very quiet. Bed was comfy. Restaurant was nice and not expensive . We had chicken snitzels which were very tender and only $25. Neither of us could finish our meal.

Bit of a variety of different size and firmness of pillows. 2 pillows were 2 high 1 too low. I used towels folded up under pillow. Took about 15 minutes of driving around the car park before we found one. We left the car there and either walked or caught the tram. Hubby didn’t like that the restaurant only served boutique beer. He said it wasn’t very nice and didn’t finish it.

Bed and room and location all fantastic.

The reception staff where not friendly at all. They were not welcoming. We could not even get anyone on the phone for room service - it rang out at reception numerous times. We then called the farmacy direct. The person who answered was so lovely and delivered to our room very quickly with a smile. He gets 10/10. The reception staff did not smile, did not ask us anything to make us feel welcome. I need to add that prior I had spoken to Marge who was lovely and helpful and she was not working that weekend. She also gets 10/10. The receptionists on duty let the others down.

the booking in process as quite difficult. the fact that we couldn't prepay before we got there is an issue and the requirements for phot ID, a bond and a separate credit card (physical card) were extremely frustrating. After a long day of travel, we were held up significantly on the check in process which was frustrating! It would almost put me off staying there again. The staff were not very understanding and wanted physical cards- get up with 2024- most of us don't carry cards anymore! They ended up going through my banking app to see card details which I found ridiculous. there was no spare blanket in the cupboard and when I called to request one, I was questioned that they were 'sure' that there was one already supplied (there wasn't)

Location. Accomodating and pleasant staff. Clean. Lovely bathroom products.

Unfortunately. Despite our Booking made thru Booking.com and $$$ being paid. On our early arrival, staff apologised as The booking thru Booking. Com had not dropped into their system. They were fully booked. Wed driven 4 hrs. The staff at Art Series went above and beyond to find a room for us after several hrs. Very grateful but disappointed with Booking.com. Second time this has happened with no apologies,feedback or compensation after several years of loyal patronage. Not sure what’s going on but it’s not great.

Great location, quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Early check in to accommodate medical appointments nearby was much appreciated and cafe attached had great breakfast rolls and coffee.

The bed was too soft for me and hurt my back to sleep on it...more of a personal choice than a complaint but is a shame because would love to stay there again for the convenience and other good attributes. Spoke to reception but all beds are the same so wouldn't even be able to pay extra for a better room.

The location was really good for our stay, as we had an appointment for our daughter at the royal childrens hospital and the buildings are joined so didn't have to worry about traffic to get to our appointment on time. The room was very clean, also the comfiest bed I've had at any accommodation. Also had breakfast at the restaurant down at The Farmacy one morning was delicious and convenient. Was well priced, and we definitely would stay again in the future.

The one thing that could have been better was the size of the room and how narrow between furniture it was to maneuver our pram, although if we didn't have our pram, it would have been great. It's hard to determine those things when booking. Room size would be great for singles or couples, stayed in a Larwill king room.

Generous room size, great facilities and reading material related to the artworld and artists. Super comfortable king bed. Fantastic location on the edge of the CBD with wonderful parkland views. Very quiet location with onsite parking. Tram stop just 50m away and front desk was super friendly and helpful in explaining how to reach our destination. Onsite restaurant has a very cool vibe, great food & friendly, efficient staff. Easy return to Flemington Road and return to the airport.

A contemporary room overlooking the gardens. It felt spacious and private event though not a very big space. Location was great and the no 59 tram suited our needs. I was able to work downstairs in the lobby one evening whilst everyone slept.

No movies, the kids were disappointed that only free to air was available. They were happy to find money and m&ms under the bed though, cleaning needs attention, bit more thorough. Lamp didn’t work on its own, only with all lights on.

The artwork and general layout. Hospital convenient stores on ground level. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. 24/7 security door access.

Nothing to report other than I didn't realize full payment for stay was required upfront & a $100 deposit was mentioned but wasn't sure what it was for? Normally accounts are settled on departure. Front desk staff could be a bit more friendly perhaps.

Great, central location with two separate tram stops just a 5 minute walk away. The neighbourhood itself doesn't have much, but a short walk or tram ride and you're in the Brunswick or North Melbourne areas which have a lot more going on.
