The price/quality ratio was pretty good taking in consideration the prices in Vienna overall. It has the basic necessities and it was pretty comfortable to sleep here. Also pretty close to some tram stops where you can get the D line to get closer to the city center.

The place is becoming a bit old and could use some renovations. Across the street is a bird expo (I don't know if it's temporary or permanent) but you could hear them throughout the day if you intend to stay in and not visit the town (for some reason?) The tram goes back and forth right in the front of the hotel and you can hear it occasionally and it also runs until 1 o'clock in the evening.

The room is comfortable, only the shower is a bit small. Perfectly clean, the air conditioner is working nicely. I've read the previous comments about the noise but it really wasn't that bad, though if you are having problems with sleep it might be annoying (I don't have such a problem 😁). The mattress and the pillow are very comfortable and you can have a 😴. Tram station 🚉 is in front of the hotel and line D is very well connected with the city center. Even the walk to the city center is not overwhelming, it takes about 40 minutes of slow pace walk to get to Stephansplatz. The check in and out are very smooth. WIFI works perfectly. For the price I didn't expect such a good accommodation in the center of Wien.

The bathroom is a bit too small and the bathtub gets full of water while showering

The room was spacious, clean and with good air conditioning which is vital during the hot summer. The beds and the sheets were also comfy. The hotel was on a quite silent street just outside of the city center but close enough so that every attraction was just a 10-15 min tram ride away and the tram stop was right next to the hotel. In addition, the staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall, I would say the price-quality of this hotel was exceptional

We did not get the bath tub to work as we did not know how to use the plug, but it was also quite late on the last night of our stay so we did not go ask the staff.

We checked in after reception was closed but the hotel sent us very clear instructions on how to self check in and collect our keys. They also made themselves available to answer any questions and provide any info we needed. The breakfast was nice and the staff always friendly and polite. Modest room but all basic amenities available.

The rooms are not soundproofed so you can hear other guests coming and going so if you have light sleep this might be an issue. The hotel does provide earplugs which help and we generally managed to sleep well. The rooms do not have a safe available which can be a concern for some.

Good location of the hotel, 20 min from city centre by tram, direct line to Hauptbahnhof. There are some nice cafes nearby the hotel. The room was warm (it was so cold outside in the middle of April). Very good selection of meals for breakfast. Nice and friendly girls at reception.

Hotel needs to be renovated. Pillows, mattress have seen a better times. Poor soundproofing from the corridor, you can hear every word. And there is a reconstruction of the neighboring house, so early in the morning you will wake up to a working hammer drill.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn't be happier with the service. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Extremely clean! It's rare to see rooms this clean. Very quiet, even the rooms facing the tram line. On that note, it's in-between 2 tram stops, each a 1-2-minute walk away, so very convenient for getting into the city centre (~15-20mins). We got 2 towels each, which were changed during the 2 night stay. Cleaning and beds were done as well, which I didn't expect for such a short stay. We got a sparkling water, which was a nice touch. There's a lift to the rooms.

I'd have preferred to if the two single beds were anchored together because a gap kept being created in-between them by our movements. The mattresses perhaps could use upgrading as they're a bit lumpy but not too bad.

At the Calmo Hotel we really liked the communication with the staff, their correctness and help with any problem, the cleanliness and conformity, the accuracy and the room service. I would recommend this hotel to my friends because it had everything we needed and was warm and tastefully furnished. The icing on the cake was the price. Thank you

We can say that everything was very good. What could be better is the "Location" which cannot be fixed because it does not depend on the owner and his staff. If it had been a little closer to the center it would have been perfect. But this is mitigated by the small distance from the train station.

My check-in was very late in the evening, and my return flight was very early in the morning. I had to check in and out when there was no one at the reception, but I really appreciated how quickly they responded to messages, were helpful, and gave clear instructions. The hotel room was just as it appeared when I made the reservation. The location was very close to the city center, with the metro station just a 2 minute walk away. It took around 20-25 minutes by taxi to reach the airport. Definitely, don't hesitate when choosing this place. Thanks for everything🌸

There's a tram stop conveniently located near the hotel, making it incredibly easy to reach the city center and all the major attractions. For those who prefer underground travel, there's also a metro station nearby, giving guests multiple transportation options. While the hotel offers parking for 15 euros, we opted for a nearby garage recommended by the staff, which cost only 7 euros per day. We must give a special shout-out to the receptionist with short hair and glasses. Her friendliness, helpfulness, and wealth of local knowledge truly enhanced our stay. The instructions and recommendations she provided were invaluable. Overall, Hotel Calmo offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this hotel caters to all needs. We highly recommend Hotel Calmo to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on our next trip!
