The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. For some reason, it was not possibile to book the room with breakfast through booking website. I paid an extra for the breakfast at the hotel (at a very reasonable price). The location is very good as everything is at walkable distance, included the University which is just few minutes away.

The rooms would probably benefit from some modernisation. While the bathroom in my room was new, modern and extremely functional, the room furniture were a bit old. Not a real problem though...

Very spacious and comfortable room with a lovely, spacious bathroom, everything nice and clean. Great buffet breakfast which included a range of rolls and pastries, but also a good selection of fruit. Excellent coffee from a coffee machine! Polite, friendly staff. Fantastic location - 15-20min walk from St Stephen Cathedral, wonderful Votivekirche (Votive Church) is just round the corner; there are also plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby as well as grocery shops (Spar, Billa). Fab location for public transport (metro, trams, buses). We walked to the hotel from the Vienna main train station/coach station and saw lots of famous landmarks on our way, which was excellent and saved time for more exploring.

The room was clean, spacious and quiet (considering the location in the center of Vienna - 8 minutes walk from Schottentor stop). There is a cleaning service. The furnishings are older, however I don't see this as a problem. The breakfast menu is smaller but surprisingly tasty. I missed the scrambled eggs for example, only boiled eggs are available. Otherwise, you can find basically everything you need here. The whole hotel is strangely laid out, the breakfast area is interestingly located above the reception and you walk to the rooms in a completely different part of the building and half of it looks like private apartments. It's simply interesting. The same goes for the layout of my room. The bathroom was divided into three rooms: a separate sink, a separate shower, which isn't in a separate room, only in some kind of an alcove of the main room, and a separate toilet. Again, it's not a problem, it's just interesting. The separate toilet and shower might actually be great for more than one person in the room. There's no elevator. I don't have a problem with it, but someone might miss it.

The staff were kind. The breakfast was exceptional; we really liked the wide range of baked goods, and the coffee machine made the best coffee I've ever tried. The room actually looked better in reality and was more modern than in the uploaded pictures. The bed was really comfy. The shower and the toilet were clean. The WiFi worked perfectly, and there were a lot of TV channels as well.

The walls were too thin, so we often woke up during the night when other guests arrived back at the accommodation or were taking a bath. The corridor was dilapidated compared to the rooms.

Room was small but adequate and clean with comfortable bed and closet space. Shower worked well. Breakfast was very good with friendly staff. I inadvertently left a paper at breakfast that had my notes about our lost luggage. When we went to look for it, it was not at table but a worker there had saved it and brought it out to us. That was very good she had not thrown it out.

The room with the toilet was too small so that one could not stand straight in front of it, so one had to leave the door open to use the toilet.

Very helpful staff! We got our room hours before check-in time because they cleaned one very quickly for us when we showed up in the morning. Breakfast, location and cleanliness were also good.

No air-conditioning and no socket close to the bed. Parking was very difficult. It's not the fault of the hotel but the public parking spaces closest to the hotel were almost always full so we needed to park the car in a parking garage, which was more expensive and almost 10 mins away.

That was a nice stay. Easy check-in and easy check out. The room was just the same as shown at the pictures, it has a small private bathroom with a good shower. The location is very convenient and easy to find. The owner is very kind and ready to help. I liked the ornamented style of the hotel entrance.

I would only add some hooks at the bathroom for hanging the towels and clothes. The pillow was too soft for me, I didn't have a good sleep.

Amazing location - right next to the inner city . Infact best to walk to the inner city ( where all the sites are ) from the hotel Great Guy called Wolfgang who gives you the absolutely correct advise - hotel gets a 9 instead of 8 just because of him . Top top guy - honest and wonderful person Amazing price for what you get just because of the location

Cleanliness could have been better The room is a bit too basic

it was in a good location and the staff was really friendly. the room was big and clean. it also had second pillow if you wanted.

the bathroom didn't have any kind of ventilation so this was a bit of a problem for smells. also the room soundproofing was nor that good and if people was talking a bit loud in the corridor you definitely would wake up.

Our room was plenty warm and was big enough for the 4 of us. The included breakfast was awesome, a huge selection. Different breads, meats, boiled eggs, cheeses, spreads, basic salad, cereals, jams, yoghurt, canned fruit, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The only suggestion I could make would be to provide fresh sliced fruit, such as melons, pineapple, grapes, etc. Also good connections to public transport.

The only complaint I could say was the 2 pillows on our large Queen bed, were lumpy and too thin, but I'm sure the staff would have been accommodating, should we have remembered to asked for different pillows.
