The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, always helpful and smiling. When we had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, they immediately arranged a replacement room and assisted us with everything. They were also very helpful with other matters, such as organizing sightseeing tours or handling small requests without any problem.

The hotel is a bit old. In both rooms I stayed in, water would pool in the shower because the filters hadn't been cleaned. Unfortunately, I had to clean them myself, as there was no maintenance service available in the afternoon when I was taking a shower. There were large stains on both armchairs and the sofa that made up the seating area, and the carpets were very worn and used. One big surprise was the lack of coffee from a proper espresso machine at breakfast — something that really shouldn't happen in a five-star hotel.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regina. It is a beautiful old building, well maintained and what a joy to see our room overlooked the gorgeous cathedral next door. The staff were extremely friendly, offering 24 hour service and always greeted us with smiles wishing us a pleasant stay. It was a nice change after the previous city we had stayed in! I would definitely recommend this lodging to others. It was close enough to the sites we wished to see to be convenient and far enough away to give us quiet and solitude without noisy crowds and traffic. We only needed to use transit twice during our 3 day stay. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Only one thing is I had requested 2 twin beds. We were forewarned that it could not be guaranteed however so not a huge inconvenience that it was a double bed.

Service was excellent and friendly, breakfast excellent and air-conditioning functioned very well. I liked very much the traditional "old-style" atmosphere.

We were a little bit disappointed to find that the dinner in the hotel restaurant was not nearly as good quality as we expected based on breakfast and lunch experience.

I came to Vienna to celebrate my birthday and this hotel was the perfect choice! I booked 2 nights but stayed 4 because I loved it so much. Deluxe rooms are amazing — high ceilings, stylish, quiet, with a beautiful view. Everything is nearby — parks, shops, and major spots like Cartier are within a 15-minute walk. On my birthday, they surprised me with a delicious Viennese cake. The room cosmetics smell great, breakfast has fresh microgreens and hot coffee served right away. The restaurant is also excellent — tasty food and good portions. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Vienna. Highly recommend!

Super central for walking in the first district with all sightseeing but also super convenient to use public transportation. Breakfast was very nice.

Even if the style was supposed to be ”old hotel style”, hotel felt quite outdated. Also no feeling to the design, depressing portraits in the rooms. Could make it feel a bit cosier. Super hard beds. Strange that they have actual door keys still, which were larger than your purse so needed to drop it off in the reception each time. Could change the tag to something smaller and with more class if don’t want to change to cards.

The hotel was in great aristocratic style! When you imagine austrian royal style - it's all there: red carpets, marble stairs, dark wood in furniture, and classic paintings everywhere! 😃 The hotel has a long history, and some vitrins about it, just like in museum. The room was also great - with air condition, greeting presents, very clean and with many cute decorations. Also there is a fridge with mini bar in room. The hotel has a nice restorant, in similar old style with great wine and dishes. Here is where a nice breakfast was served.

All was perfect, and I catch a deal of one hundred euros for the night, so the price also wasn't bad 😁

I stayed at the Hotel Regina in Vienna for three night while attending a conference nearby and found the hotel excellent in all respects for my purposes. For me, the location was ideal; it is within easy walking distance of a variety of historic sights and attractions. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean, and accessible. The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. Breakfast choices are varied, tasty and more than ample. I had a lovely surprise one day when a chocolate cake arrived in my room courtesy of the management, who had discovered it was my birthday that day.

For the purposes of my visit, the hotel was exactly what I needed.

The hotel is amazing, with that viennaise style and charm that we love. Ideal location, yet quiet, beautifully furnished room with all you need and delicious breakfast. But above all, my husband and l will remember the fantastic staff and the personal care and attention. I spent my birthday there and the hotel surprised me with a cake and a congratulations letter waiting in the room. That was very touching. Thank you, Regina!

My room is the smallest I've ever had. Barely wide enough for the single bed against the wall with shower at one end and toilet/sink at the other. No view of course. But clean comfortable friendly and location, location, location. Good Viennese breakfast.

It was claustrophobic to be in there in the day, so I spent no time at all there except to sleep/change clothes. Could not have a friend or colleague for a glass of wine.
