Location. Little touches that made stay memorable - hammock in the room, large windows, minibar with free beer and Coca Cola, super comfortable beds, relatively cheap parking, very good bar downstairs and very helpful staff.
The first room we got has broken A/C which made survival very difficult (Vienna was as experiencing a heat wave and in room temperatures exceeded 30C). We could not switch the room as they were fully booked. But the next day we got another room with working A/C so the rest of the stay was comfortable. Second complain - shower in the first room had no step but there was a rather large step up to get to the shower in our second room. My leg still hurts after kicking it. My fault - I should have checked, but I wasn’t expecting a difference like that. But overall we liked it a lot.

Location: V good. bus, tram and train connections only 3-4 minutes walk away. Room size: large Room: Has a fridge, mini bar, air con, toiletries, coffee machine, large TV, safety box. Window blinds and curtains can completely block the sun light. Room cleaning service - daily. Comfort: bed was very comfortable. Staff speak English. I would recommend this hotel.
This is my honest review, the only thing I felt strange was unwelcoming reception staff. A smile doesn’t cost anything. Staff at the bar on the other hand were friendly. I’m sure their smile was free!

I loved the stay at Hotel Daniel. I would say I have relatively high standards when it comes to choosing a hotel stay and I ended up being very satisfied and impressed with the level of friendliness of the staff, the very very tasty breakfast and the cosiness of the lobby and the hotel rooms. It was very convenient to have parking right at the hotel (although you do have to pay for it 22€ for it, but to be honest, you'd have to pay for parking in Vienna anywhere... ). The beds were also amazing, we slept really well. The location was great as it was right next to Belvedere park, which was one of the touristic points we wanted to see. The metro line is also just 10 min walk away and is well connected to the rest of the city.

Easy to find, close to train and tram links but also a superb walk to city centre through Belvedere grounds or botanical gardens. I had a rear facing room which was completely noise free. The room was quirky, unfinished ceilings, very industrial which was very atmospheric. Best shower I've ever used, no leaking door, drippy tap etc, daily room service to the highest quality. It was spotless throughout the hotel. Staff were so welcoming and helpful, instantly coming to my room to assist when I was being an idiot over the air con controls! A bright airy dining area was a pleasant way to enjoy the self service breakfast with an abundant choice, all freshly made. There was outdoor seating which looked comfy but I never utilised this on this trip. There may be many many hotels to stay in whilst in Vienna but I shall be booking this one again on my return, why would I risk disappointment by going elsewhere?
I can honestly say there was not one negative point I could make.

Location was great. Modern interior design. Very friendly staff. I got a room without having the shower in the middle of the room so that was great. The sink was right next to bed so found that to be a little quirky. And mirrors everywhere! But overall a good stay. The bed was on the firmer side which fit me perfectly so that and the floofy duvet was super comfy.
Found a tiny little german cockraoch on the wall my last day of stay. That sadly brought the experience down a bit. Otherwise this would have been a 10/10. So beware of bringing own food items into the rooms.

The atmosphere and design of the hotel are lovely and inspiring, we fell in love with it almost immediately and had a great time sitting at the lobby over drinks or having breakfast. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable, clean and functional, despite its unusual layout choice.
The only thing that marred the experience was the shower - besides the transparent shower wall which is a love-it-or-hate-it feature, the water pressure in the shower was quite low and the mixer faucet was too sensitive, making it very hard to get a decent shower without accidentally making the water too hot or too cold.

While the room was at the back of the hotel we still had a nice view over a park, overall the facilities in the room were very good and the hotel was handy for all transport links. Downstairs is a quirky restaurant and reception where you can enjoy a very good breakfast there are also many good eating places within walking distance including a very nice Austrian style restaurant in the park across the road (wonderful wiener schnitzel)
The ceilings in the room are a little odd they look like they were in the process of being replaced, however I think it was meant to be that way. :)

First of all, I really enjoyed my stay. I haven't stayed in many hotels in my past as a solo traveller but I did stay in Vienna with the same budget in the same time of the year. The location is super, the hotel is very modern, clean, the panorama room was amazing and had a good view of the central station area with all the buildings and some trees that were at the Belvedere area. I really have all the good things to say about the room. I liked the glass in the shower that views to the room, I liked the hair dryer in the bag under the sink, spacious and comfortable bed, all. I got a bad experience with the crew and and very first bad impression. On day before the check in, which was supposed to be around 2PM, I had a bus from Berlin to Vienna and was scheduled to arrive at 6AM (8 hours before check in). I arrived on time, and got to the hotel at 6:30 AM. around 9 PM I contacted the hotel and informed them about my arrival, asking if there is a luggage storage available and if there will be a possibility to enter the breakfast that morning. I told them I will not have an issue to pay just for the breakfast (which later I did, but not in a nice way...). The nice lady named Karol told me that they would love to have me, offer me luggage storage and even a room if there is one available even at the morning (as the hotel states, rooms can be available for early check in first come first get). I know 6AM is a bad time for early check in, good time is around 11-12 AM. I didn't have any plan to check in earlier. When I arrived at the hotel at 6:30 AM the reception agents were kinda shocked to see me and I'm not sure why. They were giving the vibes that I got the wrong hotel, one of the receptionists even told me in "this is not hotel Daniel Graz", I told him I know, I came to Vienna, I didn't just appear here clueless. That was a very first bad impression. Later, after I told them that I'm ok and I know where I am....

The hotel has a spacious, plant filled lobby that is great for relaxing in. The Restaurant& Bar are both in this space and both food & wine are very good. The staff are great- helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the panorama room which was a lovely, light filled place to stay for a few days. Location wise the hotel is almost adjacent to Belvedere palace which was ideal for visiting the palace and the Klimt collection. Very good location being ten minutes walk from Vienna central station with direct links to the airport as well as a tram stop across the road plus the U1 line a short walk away.

We were upgraded to the 6th floor Panorama Room as I had mentioned the stay was part of my birthday celebrations. The room was utterly awesome, with surround views of the city. The decor quirky, very clean and contemporary. The bed was super comfy, the shower excellent with nice toiletries. We were also offered coffee pod facilies and the minibar, as part of the upgrade, was free of charge, a wonderful gesture. The hotel is within walking distance of the main station, 10 minutes walk from the U-Bahn, and across is the tramline, excellent for planning our stay. The Belvedere is next door and ideal for a first visit or last visit. Luggage can be left in secure lockers, so practical if timing is of the essence.
If you are light sensitive, take great care at closing the many blinds and curtains without any gaps. The curtains are very efficient but not totally blackout although for me it was fine. There is urban noise coming from the very busy traffic below but this is unavoidable and again, did not really bother me due to the very decent sound proofing. On the first morning we were too late for the breakfast and ended up having the non-resident breakfast which was quite pricey (but excellent).
