Location, staff, breakfast

Malfunction internet in our room. Also, bad experience during check-in. I was told that my confirmed reservation is cancelled and have no more room available! However after one hour of following up with booking.com and the hotel itself we got our room and a free breakfast to make up for the miss understanding☺️

Building is very architectural from its outside. Indoor space is a bit old and not renovated, but very clean and organized. The hotel’s staff is kind and welcoming.

During our stay they were renovating the building nearby, very noisy in the mornings.

Great location in the centre of Vienna. Rooms were of a good size as advertised. Room wasn’t ready until exactly 3pm but you do have a checkout of 12 noon. Rooms are quiet with no outside noise from the street. Did not do breakfast as was €30pp per day and heard mixed reviews. Easier and cheaper to go out and get something if that’s what you prefer.

Pillows very soft so need at least 2 at night. Lifts can be slow due to use for rooftop bar in lamee building. But can use stairs if there is a queue at night. Arrived at 2:50pm but room not ready. Able to sit in lounge area though with coffee and water facilities. Rooms not cleaned until at least after 3pm each day. Quite dark in the room with minimal natural light.

The Hotel Topazz & Lamee are such great places to stay, from its location, appearance and its beautifully high end finished rooms. What usually makes a great stay are the staff and to be honest they went out of their way , from the house keeping to the desk, absolutely faultless. The Salon room on the lower level with complementary snacks , coffee etc is a great addition, not to mention the view from the roof top bar , amazing. Vienna itself has to be the cleanest city we have ever visited, with architecture and history dating back hundreds of years with continued restorations in progress. Thanks again to the staff for your welcoming and hospitality.

It was our honeymoon and we were gifted with a bed with rose petals and a bottle of wine which was a very nice touch. The room was spacious and the bathroom was glorious. Perfect location and there were a few staff members who were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help us.

There didn’t appear to be any wine in the lounge which we were told there would be. The room was very hot as the air conditioning doesn’t do all that much. It was cooler with the window open, but you can’t have the window open and the air con running at the same time. When leaving we were told there are coolers available if requested.

Fantastic location in a vibrant area in central Vienna! Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise! Sadly I don’t drink wine so I had to leave it behind but it was a nice touch.

Had more of an apartment feel as the reception was across the road- however this was not a major issue. However anyone could walk up the stairs and one night we had to wait to go up to our room as a few unsavoury characters were gathered at the entrance and it didn’t feel safe. Also disappointed that the blinds were pulled down around most of the rooftop bar and we didn’t get to see a thing when we went up.

Location: in the very center, literally a minute's walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral Service: very polite, helpful staff. Special thanks for the birthday wishes! Breakfast: delicious quality food. The buffet is small, most of it is on the menu. Special recommendation: omelette and pancakes Room: fully corresponds to the photos. Cosmetics - Penhaligon's.

There is a bar with a terrace on the roof, which is why there are constant queues for the elevator from the establishment's visitors. Sometimes you had to wait about 7 minutes! It would be better to at least make a priority for hotel guests.

It is close to the city center. You have immediate access to public transportation. The hotel staff is exceptional—attentive, prompt, and friendly. The rooms are spacious and bright. The windows are large and round—you can sit on the windowsill and watch the city. The breakfast area is very well organized—retro, comfortable armchairs. The breakfast is decent and caters to everyone’s tastes.

The only ‘issue’ was that the room cleaning was done quite late. The housekeeping staff would only arrive after 2 PM, which was sometimes a bit inconvenient.

Best location for Vienna, right in the centre, surrounded by shops and restaurants, close to public transport stations. Room was big, well decorated and luxurious. Staff were excellent, eager to help with anything and very friendly.

The bar was closed when we stayed, which was unfortunate as we received a free drink token upon check in. The walls in the room were badly scuffed in some places, would need to be painted.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic—close to everything we needed and super convenient for exploring the area. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep.

The parking is a bit of a walk from the hotel, but it’s a very pleasant stroll, so we didn’t mind too much. The rooms are quite dark and have a spooky, moody atmosphere—definitely suited for a romantic couple looking for something a little different. We stayed on the first floor, and while the view was unique and "interesting," it gave us the strange sensation of sleeping right on the street.
