Great breakfast, friendly service, perfect location, spacious room with a well-designed bathroom with lots of space to put your toiletries.

The only thing I did not like was the mattress on our bed did not offer enough support for my back. My husband did not have this issue.

The hotel is located at a very central location in Vienna: it is only two minutes walk from the Stephanplatz, which means it is both very close to the major tourist attractions and has convenient public transport access through the subway and tram system.

The hotel room's safe is relatively small and requires the use of a physical key, which you ask for at the reception. The hotel room doors are locked using a physical key with a rather heavy keychain, which is inconvenient to carry relative to a keycard. The doors are also hard to close properly.

The hotel's location is perfect, just behind Stephansdom. Every sight within walking distance, good restaurants and cafes just behind the corner and the Wien Mitte Landstraße train station is ca 10 min easy flat walk away. The room was really big with an exceptionally comfy bed and we enjoyed the cleanliness and good service. The old style decorations are a perfect fit for this historical building. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and thank the staff very much for the friendliness and help. We're definitely coming back and would recommend this hotel :)

The location is fantastic, right behind St Stephen’s and within walking distance of many spots and the metro and tram lines. But what really makes it stand out for a solo traveller is the friendly and relaxed feel of the place, with its lovely staff. It’s priced to account for the fact it’s lost a little of its gloss, as an older establishment, but it’s lost none of its charm. I’d stay again.

There wasn’t enough material in the curtains so there was a lot of light leakage. It was OK, but only just.

Location was excellent close to everything in the centre of Vienna yet in a quiet street. The room was quiet at night and the beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. Air con worked well and was also quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Only the small tea cups in the breakfast room. We would have liked a mug or bigger cup for our morning tea or coffee. In the bedroom the cups were even tinier and didn't fit the saucers so quite a few times our drinks nearly ended up sliding off the saucer and on to the floor! And the shower was more of a hand shower as it was above the bath but at least there was a bath which I like. My husband would have preferred a better shower.

Excellent location. Everything is within walking distance. We took a ferry from Vienna to Bratislava. The ferry terminal was a 6-minute walk, even with large luggage, as long as the luggage has good rollers. The Hop-on hop-off was a 10-minute walk. We only stayed for two nights, which is more than enough for Vienna.

The room furniture is ancient, not suitable for a hotel with a steep charge. Breakfast barely meets an acceptable level, but the servers were cheap, so if you're planning to stay there for not more than a couple of nights. Go ahead, knock yourself out. You will survive.

The location of this hotel cannot be surpassed. It's within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions St Stephens, St Pauls, The Opera House, Sisi Museum, as well as multiple plazas. The reception staff are fathomable, friendly, polite and very welcoming.The hotel is beautifully presented, with a wonderful breakfast spread. A hidden gem.

I have never experienced such noisy cleaning staff before. Most of the afternoon you can hear loud talking, banging, doors opening and slamming and the vacuum cleaner. Don't expect a quiet afternoon nap after a busy day exploring.

What a great location! Close to the heart of the city and so easy to get around. Such a beautiful and grand city! Many restaurants and cafes to choose from and all were wonderful. Staff were amazing. Always happy and cheerful and nothing was a problem. Our room was enormous and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. We had a wonderful time and hopefully will be back one day.

Everything was perfect with the hotel. If you want to do site seeing, make sure to go early before all the crowds. There were lots and lots of people.

Ideally located for shopping and sightseeing in quiet area beside cathedral square. Staff very friendly, and helpful. Hotel has a very welcoming personality, as opposed to corporate carbon copy of most hotels. Good breakfast available. Air conditioned, much appreciated in muggy, thundery weather when we visited.

Quite a few steps and level changes in floors to negotiate which can be a bit confusing and hazardous at first, but once familiarised, they become part of the charm of the property. The lift is just a little bit small: but works perfectly.

Location was great for the first timers. It was in the middle of the touristic attractions. I think breakfast was great. There are probably fabulous breakfast in some other places but this was simply great. Every single staff was super helpful and kind. I appreciate their help. I went there during winter. It was warm inside. Even though it was in the middle of attractions, it was not loud at nights. I think it was a great place to stay.

The only think I did not like is the size of the bed. It was small. Maybe it is European thing. It was single size bed. I am use to sleep in a queen size bed even if I stay alone. But, I think they don't have per room price policy here. It is per person. So it is very understandable under these conditions.
