Everything was great. Location, first of all, it takes 3 minutes to walk to the underground station, and then 2 stops to the St.Stephen’s Cathedral. And the trains to the airport also depart from there, which was very good for me. The nice personnel, good breakfast, the fridge in the room, the view from the room… It is very nice and cosy family hotel. And the price was also very good for Vienna. If I am there again I will stay here for sure.

The location was great, with convenient transportation going everywhere including the CAT to the airport. The room was adequate and clean although I could use a little more heat since it was cold in Vienna. The breakfast was sufficient. Basic but good.

The noise from other rooms including the front desk. The day-time receptionist was wonderful but the evening one (who also managed the breakfast) was not exactly hospitable and friendly. Not that I expected someone gushy but he was rough!!

Few minutes walk from transport hub. A small shopping mall with food and supermarket. Few stops from train station and old town. Nothing to complain of. It is mend by a family I supposed who are very friendly. Although my room door is hard to open but once you have master the tactics. It will be as simple as ABC. Breakfast is normal but that is enough for me to last for few hours. Before leaving, the boss still have me a gift which is a surprise for me. Lastly this is not a place for someone who is expecting hotel standard as this is more for people who wants to experience daily life of Vienna people

As mentioned the breakfast varieties can be improved.

I chose this hotel for the price and the proximity to the "Mitte" train station, with the City Airport Train to the airport. This is also a nice part of town, near the city park and center. There's a shopping center and plenty of restaurants in the area as well. I was there for a short period of time and had to leave too early to have their breakfast but reception was friendly and the room was fine. This is an older hotel, but it was also quite affordable which I appreciated. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location. The place is less than 2 streets from the main station, from this station you can reach the airport in 25mins with the local train or 15mins with the CAT express train. There are also 2 lines that take you right to the main attraction or 15mins walk to the central area of Vienna. The room I had was big and comfortable, the bathroom was good too with a good shower. There is also a working lift but if this were not working there are quite a lot of stairs. Don’t think this place had AC but a fan is available. Went during a mini heat wave so I cannot comment if the room is warm during the winter. As a solo traveller I can recommend this place, feels safe and secure. You can leave your bag if your have a later flight.

The additional 20% fee charged for checking in after mid-night. With evening cheap flights from London you ran the risk of being delayed and then having to pay for checking in after hours. If arriving before midnight the charge is €20 so keep this in mind before booking if your flight arrives between 7pm and 10pm. Also, the breakfast is much to be desired, very limited selection so breakfast is not a selling point here. One of the staff members (evening) is very rude, the only one, the rest of the staff are wonderful, such shame that this man ruins an overall nice experience.

The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable atmosphere. Throughout my stay, the staff was not only polite but also always eager to assist with anything I needed, making the experience even more enjoyable

The bed was positioned next to the window, though I noticed it didn’t get quite enough natural light. The pillow was soft and generously sized, but I requested a change for my second night, and the staff happily accommodated me.

Excellent location, close to Wien Mitte, from where you can take the train to the airport (CAT or S-Bahn), the metro, and many bus and tram lines. In any case, you can walk to the center in a few minutes. My room was very quiet, large, and clean. It is not a luxury hotel, the forniture is basic, but it has all you need for a comfortable stay. I did not have breakfast because I had to leave very early. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

Great location. Only 100 away from Wien-mitte station & CAT (city-airport train) station. Very convinient for travel. I arrived Vienna at 8 am, staff is already there since morning. He allowed me to get in and left the luggage there until the check-in time at 2 pm. The hotel is on the second floor of the building and reachable by elevator. However, the solo rooms are on the other floor above. I like old-fashioned hotel, wooden floor and furniture. My room has everything I need, towel, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, even slippers. I considered the hotel price-worthy given the location and facilities. There are many nice restuarants and attraction around in walking distance (the train/subway is 2.4 Euro per trip, the attractions are with in 500m to 2km distance). The continental breakfast is lovely. Although I misunderstood the breakfast time (it is 7.30 am), the staff allowed me to dine in. The staff is very kind and very helpful.

Same as most hotels in Europe, no-air conditioner (only fan and heater). I have no issue because I'm from tropical climate.

it is located just two streets from the Stadtmitte transportation hub, including the CAT airport express train. The area has a neighborhood feel with ice cream shop and pharmacy across the street. Also has high end restaurants like Stadtwirt (features St Martins Goose), low end like the Döner shops facing the station and inbetween like Bierteufel that makes a mean pork schnitzel and fries for which exuberant cholesterol is a given! The hotel buffet breakfast is no-nonsense hearty so we saved on lunch. The manager and staff are very pleasant and sociable when time allows. The clanky elevator adds to the ambience. Remember to bring your own washcloth.

Showing it’s age—only an observation not a criticism

The location is amazing, about 2 minutes on foot from the train station. The room was VERY warm, which was fantastic as I stayed in December. The best part of the stay was the service from the hosts: the two gentlemen and the lady I have met are the kindest, loveliest, and most amazing people ever! They went out of their way to make my stay great (I had a cold and they would happily make the tea for me at night, which was so appreciated!); they also stored my luggage for me for half a day after the check out. Breakfast was fantastic as well: eggs, cheese, cold meats, fresh bread rolls, cereal, fruit, cake, etc. Great stay. Thank you for a wonderful time I had in Vienna!
