1. Located right in front of the central station 2. with 3 supermarkets besides the central station, and another 2 great supermarkets behind the hotel, easy for water / snake supplies. 3. Security control over the front gap after midnight comforted me and my wife. 4. The fashionable sofa in my room was awesome.

1. The room is relatively small (I thought we were in Japan) 2. I had asked for a twin bed room, turned out to be normal, some soft of disappointment. 3. Sound proof of the connected door wasn't really promised and satisfited. When next door got too excited, they are annoying.

The hotel, room, bar, restaurant, all facilities were incredibly clean. Restaurant staff and cleaners were all very welcoming, polite and friendly. They make sure to be there when you are coming but also leaving the restaurant to thank you and wish you to have a great day. During your dining always making sure you have all you need. Breakfast options were very good as well. Swimming pool, gym, sauna and hammam all very clean, inviting and equipped with clean towels. The size of swimming pool suprised me. It was quite nice to swim there and the water was just the perfect temperature. It was really cool swimming with a view of Antwerp's beautiful central station. At check-out we met another amazing staff member who made us want to turn back around and stay longer. Unfortunatly, we were short on time.

Check-in was not so nice, the person at the reception was not willing to hear me out but instead just rapidly stated the information like a robot and sent me away before I could even put my documents back to the bag. It was not even busy at the time we came. Luckily we met a very friendly and patient staff member by the lifts who welcomed us and without even being asked gave us some tips where to find what and how to enjoy our stay. Big thanks to him!

The location could not be better nor more central - located on Astridplein, the hotel faces the train station (and the Zoo right next to it), sits on top of a metro station, and the airport bus stops right there on the square. The main street (Keiserlei, which turns into Meir) is meters away, and the Chocolate Nation museum and shop is in the same building. The hotel's parking is comparable in pricing to the nearby private parking facility, but with the added convenience of being able to come and go as you like throughout your stay. The view from the breakfast room, and from rooms facing the square, is spectacular. The rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable and inviting. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the pool and gym are very reliable; I've never experienced either of them being closed.

We usually stay a night or two at this hotel every year, and their EV chargers have never worked properly. This ultimately results in a lot of back and forth, moving the car, and ultimately failing to get it charged, which is frustrating, Being able to charge overnight would add significant value to our stay.

The view from the room was phenomenal, and the location was excellent. The zoo, the chocolate museum, Illusion House and Central Station were all close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor in the breakfast room and bar was modern and stylish. Breakfast was delicious and there was a plethora of options. We had an issue where there was no sofa bed in the room (Junior Suite), but staff solved this promptly by providing an extra bed.

The room was a little tired and could do with an update. More detail should be paid to cleaning e.g. dust under furniture and rubbish stuffed behind the sofa cushions (we found this when looking for the sofa bed!).

The room (627) was excellent: large, quiet (other guests allowing), clean, minimal street noise, excellent view of the station, warm (I turned the heat down a bit). The very comfortable bed was huge: it was like my wife and I were sleeping in different towns.

As a rule, we avoid hotel breakfasts when we can. On our last day, we had breakfast in the hotel. €58 for pretty standard fare, but the place was nice and the service was bustling and friendly. The bar on Saturday night was understaffed and people were complaining about slow service, but we managed okay. Finally, hotel is right across the street from the station, so very convenient if you arrive by train. But, it is a twenty minute walk into the old town and the best restaurants.

Hotel prominently situated just across the road from what is reputedly the world's most beautiful railway station. Old city centre is walkable from here (20 minutes) .We had been upgraded to a very large room; with good view of some of the city. Breakfast was varied and generally very good . Lovely view of station frontage from restaurant.

We visited in November but found room to be hot and stuffy; air conditioning didn't seem to be functioning properly: slept with window ajar. Swimming pool and sauna found to be closed when we wanted to use it on our last morning. Apparently there had been a technical problem from the day previously. I note from previous recent reviews that unexpected closure had also been experienced by other visitors. Therefore this problem seems to be repetitive

Excellent hotel, conveniently located by the train station and tram/bus node. The area might seem a bit shabby at night but it's quite safe, I came back around midnight alone and had no problem. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. The room was clean, the common spaces could be better maintained. I loved that it was quiet, I am a light sleeper and didn't need earplugs at all. There is a pool and welness centre but I did not use them. Breakfast has everything you might need and good coffee too. Will definitely return.

Location (opposite of the magnificent central train station and close to the center) and breakfast.

We stayed in a premium room and our room was connected to the room next door by an internal door. We think there was no soundproofing system because we heard everything in the room next door: all the conversations, movements etc. Therefore, we could not sleep well at night. We wanted to change our room but they could not do it because they were fully booked. It affected our stay very badly. If your room is connected to the room next door by an internal door like this, I recommend that you request a change at the beginning.

Fairly good location. Helpful and very friendly staff especially on reception..

The only really negative thing was that the seal round the shower door could have been better as the bathroom floor ended up VERY wet after using the shower. We had to mop it up with a towell. Unfortunately Antwerp itself appears to be a bit like a massive building site in parts with several roads closed and construction work everywhere. Not the best experience to have.
