Room located in separate building (you get wet when it rains) from where reception is, but around the corner at 20m walking distance. Access with same badge as for room, dedicated reception but not occupied. Room was on first floor, road side. Elevator present. The room is spacy with large bathroom and dito shower. Double bed with high and confortable mattress, single duvet, lots of pillows of good firmness. Small closet containing also safe. The windows block most of the noise (there were construction works but did not disturb). Room was clean, tiled floor. Close to Botanique metro but when coming from Brussels Noord recommended to take a taxi (short ride 5-7€) since walking is definitively not for most travellers.

Small TV with very limited TV channels. No amenities except 2 bottles of water in fridge. Odd enough there was cannabis smell which I did not perceive on the corridor nor from outside. This was solved keeping the windows open while having dinner. Had to turn down the heating in the room's radiator thermostats as they were set to full open ('5') and it was very hot; after setting to '2' and '3' and leaving the windows open for a while it was much more confortable. A pity since it wastes a lot of heat and energy.

Convenient location, about 200m to the exit from the subway. The building is a former bank, so the layout of the rooms is a bit unusual. The windows of the room were overlooking the courtyard, so the noise of the street was not heard. In general I am satisfied with the hotel, great value for money

It was no place to put toothbrush or similar things in bathroom, please add some shelf and hooks for towels. Breakfast should be ordered a day in advance and is not available on Sundays, but there are plenty of places to eat within a 10 minute walk.

Daniela at reception is very friendly and knew how to solve our problem

When I arrived, they gave me the wrong room. They changed me to another one where the air conditioning didn't work. Finally, they changed me to a third room, which was very nice, but it needed a lot of cleaning and the bathroom smelled a bit bad. The heating was too high and it was very hot inside. The air conditioning didn't cool either, so we had to sleep with the window open to compensate for the heat. I had been there before and had a better experience than this one. For the rest, everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable, with clean blankets and a working TV. They should try to maintain the rooms a little better.

15 minutes walk to the city center, perfect! Tram stop 92 and 93 just 100m from the hotel. Very friendly and clean. Hotelroom small, but cosy and warm, all very clean and new towels every day. Perfect for us for a long weekend (we stayed 4 nights).

Not a problem, but the entrence door is closed (you can open it any time 24h with the room badge), but it got us confused, at arrival (usually I would expect an open door at a hotel with a reception - you have to ring the bell!).

Decent hotel in the north of Brussels, a great choice if you need to be in that part of the city (near the botanical gardens) but also still a comfortable walk to the Grand Place. Easy to access by metro, and has nearby restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel room is a bit basic but it does the job. The bed was particularly comfy and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The retro theme is cool!

No kettle or tea/coffee in the room

The hotel is located right next to the botanic gardens which is a nice place to start the day. Room was clean for the most part although there was some fluff under the writing desk when I moved the mini fridge. Shower was clean and served its purpose once I figured out how to operate it (it was indeed retro...). Breakfast, which I only had once during my stay, was basic but reasonably priced at 15 Euro's (which for some reason they did not charge). Internet was good.

The double bed was split in 2 (which is normal for these kind of hotels) but the edge of the two mattresses was really stiff so that it was actually painful to role form side to side. Good thing I was alone... I believe there is an option for fresh omlet for breakfast (at least I saw a small kitchen with a stove next to the breakfst room) but this was not offered and so I did no have one (but as I said I was not charged so really can no complain). The location is a bit off-center and it would take you up to 20 minutes to walk to busier area where most restaurants are located, so not ideal for just popping of to town.

Easy access to the whole city via public transport or by foot. Great staff.

We were surprised there was no glasses or utensils for whatever we bring back. Closest train station is on the edge of the shady neighborhood, in evening hours might not feel that safe being near there.

Thanks to Jeta everything was okay. She could manage to switch our room the next day since the remote of the tv didn’t work and the heating was constantly running it was super hot.

We absolutely love the rooms on the fifth floor since they are extremely quiet and cozy. Some people may dislike it since they are super small. But we personally love them.

perfect location just on the north side of Brussels central, excellent transport links, shops. Clean room, plenty of towels, lovely bathroom. Added bonus: brilliant busroute (R26) to the airport too, in about 40 minutes at just EUR 2,50. The 24hr key worked perfectly. Friendly staff

not all television channels had sound. Minor issues, i know.

Basically expected not much due to reviews - but the place left a very good impression on us. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious - all necessary was there (small fridge, hairdryer, modern shower, big mirrors, and a Very cozy bed!). Overall the style of the hotel spoke to us - many cute retro details in the lobby and the interior. The place is very close to the city center and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Botanique gardens - give it a visit! We rested very well at the place, though the upstairs neighbors were seemingly competing in the sprint with a cat :)

The view out of the window was sadly very not picturesque - some trash next to the tree. But since we stayed for one night only and did not spend all our time next to the window - fine with us.
