The beds were clean and comfy and I loved the extra privacy provided by the curtains on the beds. Each room had its own fully equipped bathroom with a shower and all and there were also additional toilets on each floor. The breakfast included in the already low price had a good amount of options so even with some dietary restrictions everyone should be able to find something to eat (I'm vegan and I was able to have a really filling meal with no issues), there was also fresh fruit which was great. The staff was really lovely and I was able to keep my stuff in the luggage room before check in and also after check out as I was leaving Brussels in the late evening. There is also a vending machine at the bottom floor and a free drinkable water dispenser which was a nice addition. I honestly have nothing to complain about and especially considering the price and the central location this is just a really great option for anyone visiting for a couple nights. I'll most likely end up staying here again when I visit Brussels in the future.

A very well-run large hostel, within easy reach of Brussels Centraal and Nord stations, and close to the museums precinct. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and there is a bar on the property that serves a generous menu during hour. Breakfast is included, although that is currently a bag of assorted items rather than a buffet or kitchen.

It’s on top of one of the few hills in the city which can get a bit tiresome after a long day. There can be a bit of street noise at night. The mattresses are really narrow foam and don’t make for comfortable sleeping. There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby.

We ended up with room 211 (the gem of all rooms) so lots of space, our own shower and a balcony of all things?! Clean, tidy, minimalistic, carpet as a headboard! What more could you want. Bar on site (when it was open) and some table tennis equipment to see who is the supreme player. It was also quiet and the rooms didn't smell. Really the price is a steal for what we got in my mind so its a win for me. Just a decent breakfast would have sealed the deal.

Breakfast.... was..... sad. I had a cheese sandwich. It wasn't great. Just not much in the way of things to eat. However, it's cheap as chips and as such what do you expect. Waffles in the vending machine at 1am. It's a bit of a gaunt to the main town so not as central as we had hoped.

The room was comfortable, very clean, and worked well for friends travelling together. The staff provided tourism recommendations and on one of the evenings there was a concert in the hostel's courtyard. Being able to leave luggage securely at the hostel for a few hours on the day of check-out was a bonus.

The pre-packed takeaway breakfasts - this seemed to be running only during the summer - were useful and a good idea, but to reduce wastage it would be helpful for guests to be able to chose their own pastries/yogurts/etc.

The room was surprisingly spacious with a very nice en-suite bathroom. Massive mirror in the bathroom, bench in shower, multiple hooks on the wall for towels. The beds were comfy as well as a decent size. The continental breakfast was simple but good. Public transport links were great, Madou station was two minutes away. Area seemed safe and in good weather only a short walk away from the city centre.

It was a bit hard to find initially but just fine once you're there. No privacy curtains around the beds but you can always use a towel or spare sheet which is what I did since my roommates were packing/leaving in the early hours.

The hostel was just a 15-20 minute walk from the city center, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The shower had hot water and great pressure. The staff were friendly, especially Gabriella at reception, who gave me a warm welcome and lots of useful information. With breakfast included, this was excellent value for money! 🥳

I like it overall! Maybe one thing to improve would be having a socket close to each bed and a curtain for privacy, but everything else was fantastic! 🥳

- close to the metro station (Madou) - good location: calm, quiet neighborhood, nice old tenement houses around, a small park with a small monument, the hostel is not located on the main street so it is quiet - nice staff - great friendly atmosphere - food and drink machines available 24 hours a day - a nice bar where you can drink alcohol and tea (free tea) - simple breakfasts (bread, cheese, ham, salami, fruit jam, Nutella, eggs, coffee and tea) - You can only enter the hotel with an entry card, which gives you a sense of security

- I was in the hostel durin renovations which started early in the morning and made it impossible to sleep. - it was impossible to close the window in the room

I loved everything. I met new people. We travelled together. Breakfast was so good compared to the price. This is new feeling for me. Bed was better than a hotel bed to be honest. Only negative thing was power socket attached to bed was not working. I informed that regarding to the reception. They told unfortunately they were newly refurbished beds. It was totally fine and i felt like i was home.

Power socket was not working attached to the bed

This is a very modern hostel with very clean facilities. The rooms are very big and the beds are comfy. It's a in a good location within walking distance of the Brussels Nord train station. It's off the main roads so even with windows open it is not noisy. The free breakfast (bread, meat slices, eggs, cereal...) was great.

The lockers are quite tiny and it was difficult to put even my smaller sized backpack in it. They just need to take the middle shelf out of the locker and it would be plenty big.

The twin room was terrific value for money! The Location - so quick and easy to walk to the Grand-Place, Daily Cleaning, Breakfast included, felt secure, clean bathrooms! Overall, far exceeded my expectations for a youth hostel!

The soundproofing probably isn't the best as you can slightly hear people walk by and doors opening/closing, which isn't a problem for me since I am a heavy sleeper. Towels are an additional €1.50, unless you're happy using the free bathmat as a towel (which I'm sure most do).
